LOVE this place! I am always looking for the best gyro lunch special, and the search ended today. $6.99 for a gyro, fries/salad, and a drink. Excellent gyro meat and salad dressing. Very welcoming employees.
Pleasantly surprised. Live close by and we enjoy visiting restaurants in the area. Had meant to stop by sooner but this one is easy to miss in the shopping strip. The food was great. The hummus has a unique taste, almost spicy but in a good way. The pita was piping hot as were the gyro and seasoned fries. The salad dressing was very light and tasty. The taziki sauce was thicker than most, but I enjoyed it. Had great flavor. The chicken skewer was light but well seasoned and yummy. We will definately return.
Souvlaki Can't Be Beat. Souvlaki Gyro Wrap was outstanding, this time I got it with the hot & tasty lightly seasoned fries. What a treat, priced right, no need to ever go to a chain restaurant - keep YOUR money in your town.
Run down building yes. Dining room decor a wreck yes. Great gyro and Greek salad yes. This is the best lunch spot on nacodoches. Give it a chance
This place is delicious. If you can get over the mismatched table cloths and kinda funky smell, it's totally worth trying! I had their gyro dinner special and it was fantastic! The service was also friendly and swift - definitely going back!!!
Been Eating Here Ten Years. Been coming to this place for ten years now. Love it every time. The gyro is one of the best if not the best in town. I would say it and Pasha are pretty close. Kosta's got it name from Kosta (he was from Greece), the guy who originally started the restaurant. He and his ran the joint. They were great. Although they don't run the place now, the food is still as good. Yes, it's a hole in the wall but it has always been good.
Lived in the area for years, but had never been in... shopping center is a little run down... but the food was GREAT! had the $6.50 lunch special: gyro, salad or fries and a drink. gyro was LOADED with meat and was tasty. I had the salad, not as sharp (vinegary) as some of the Greek salads I've had, the dressing was almost buttery tasting. I loved it! my son had fries - freshly cooked - hot and crisp. wish I hasn't waited so long to come here, but I'll be returning soon. place could use a facelift, but the food is perfect just as it is. note: canned soda, no refill - but for $6.50 who can complain!!!!

This place is amazing. It's a mom & pop place with friendly service & fantastic lunch specials. The green beans are great too, they add something to it that makes it out of this world. The salad is by far the best Greek salad I have ever tasted in my entire life. Beware the olive is virgin so becareful when biting into it.

Absolutely phenomenal. I got a gyro and my wife got a lamb chop plate. Severely missed Greek food moving from Houston to San Antonio. I could eat this 5 times a week. Very clean restaurant. Nice employees. Food was fresh. Lean meat. Perfectly cooked. I give them 6 stars. If you want a good meal 🍽️ look no further. I'll be back soon.
What a nice surprise to find. The star of the show is the food. I want to try more items but I keep going to the Gyro Special. Had this about 6 times now and every time it hits the spot. The lady at the counter is always so nice.
Phenomenal gyros and Greek salad. Greek menu is not that huge but the gyros and salad make up for it. The gyros are so full you can't bend them over and the salad is fresh and brimming with taste. Best part is 2 gyros, 2 huge salads and 2 sodas and 1 extra tzatziki sauce is $20 total. Excellent price. Place isn't much for decor but for these prices , I don't care.
Cute, clean place, yummy food. Hidden gem. Having a garlic allergy I was able to get the Tofu gyro, no garlic, with seasoned fries. The custard with chocolate ganache was delicious. They're so nice too.

Absolutely love the food and service here. I wish I could give more stars. Here you order at the counter up front. We were greeted by Jeremiah. He is the friendliest and most helpful. Jeremiah helped suggest the plates we got and mentioned how his father bought the restaurant for it’s SALAD DRESSING. Because it was so good, the now new owner wanted to preserve the original recipe. And let me tell you that this is not emphasized enough. That salad dressing is incredible and I’m glad we got salads instead of fries because sharing something that good would have been difficult. The love and attention in all the food here is reflected in all the flavor and freshness. They sell their salad dressing and tzatziki sauce if I remember correctly. Unfortunately we were on the road so we didn’t get to grab any, but we did make sure to get pitas with tzatziki sauce and hummus to go after our meals! We ordered a gyro and chicken souvlaki sandwich. Gyro had great flavor, but the chicken souvlaki was the best Mediterranean chicken we have ever had. We cannot wait to find a reason to come back through the area. Kostas is a MUST try. Oh and so is the baklava!
A great place to eat a delicious meal and study! The keftedes (meatballs) and gyro strips are tender, flavorful, and well-seasoned; the salad was crisp and refreshing. There was no wait on a week night, and the service is unmatched. Come visit this beautiful family-owned restaurant!
Their food is delicious and healthy. The workers are friendly, and generous. My only suggestion would be for brighter, warmer lighting. As well as some artwork.

I was hesitant when I noticed the renovations and new ownership, and the gentleman at the counter promised the same great food and prices as before. The prices are incredibly reasonable, but I disagree that the food is the same! In fact, it far exceeded my expectations and was one of the freshest and most delicious Greek cuisine experiences I've ever had. Truly they are headed in the right direction and I hope that they serve their incredible food to san antonio for another generation!
