Absolutely delicious!!! Due to being shortstaffed there was a small wait but so worth it!! I ordered the soup, the gyro wrap with a Greek salad, and a hibiscus limonada. Cannot wait to come back for more amazing food!
Me and my mother tried the new location today and I was in awe with the ambiance. The environment was very welcoming. Our server was so kind and attentive. We already knew the food was going to be amazing! We got the chicken shawarma rice bowls and hummus/bourek to start. Everything was amazing ! They even shared some birthday cake. We will be back !
The food, atmosphere, service is 5 star! Lavender limonada and the Turkish tea is absolutely delicious. All of the food we ordered was fresh, so good and large portions. The prices were good especially for the portion size. It is a great addition to restaurants in the area because it is not a fast food chain. Tripolis is such a great option for healthy fresh foods that taste incredibly delicious.
Wow! Tripoli’s is a gorgeous hidden gem in Alamo Ranch. The food was delicious. Loved the lamb kefta kebab, hummus, Greek salad, shawarma and rose water tea.
Service was very good but what really sets this place apart is the vibe. A warm, stylish atmosphere to have a great meal. It transported us from a suburban strip mall to a cool Mediterranean restaurant in the center of a city.
Highly recommend Tripoli’s for your next dining out experience.
this has got to be one of the best middle eastern restaurants i’ve eaten at in a very long time and might just take the crown for the #1 middle eastern restaurant in san antonio. i got the rice bowl with spicy chicken and godddddd dayummm did it tickle my tastebuds and trust me i never say dumb things like that. 10/10 going back.
Very friendly staff. Instagramable date spot.
Definitely recommend the lamb kabob!! 10 out of 10! Wide selection of coffees. Make sure to try the rose water and lavender lattes.
A nice and wanted addition to the Alamo Ranch area! Loved the rose water lemonade, especially, it was refreshing. Definitely check this place out if you love Mediterranean food!
The food was delicious and the restaurant has a beautiful design! We will definitely be back!
Wonderful spot in the San Antonio area for some good food. My wife is very particular when it comes to her Mediterranean food options, and Tripolis definitely fits the bill. Nice atmosphere even though we had our food to go, but we will definitely sit and enjoy on the next visit.
New location, but it's the same great meal. The atmosphere is top notch, but be aware that the number of servers was limited, but the food is qell worth the wait.
We tried this place a few weeks ago and we’re very impressed, the food is very tasty even though it came out cold. The service is not the best since they seem to be short staffed but I will say they do try. Even though our food was not hot the second time around, we still come back for the taste and atmosphere of the place. Overall the food is good. Hopefully they will get everything going better to serve their customers since it is a fairly new place. It really is a good place to try.
The gyro rice bowel is my
Favorite. My wife had the couscous and it was phenomenal! I actually started eating off her plate bc it was so good. Glad there’s an authentic middle eastern spot in the Alamo Ranch area. We had their coffee right after our dinner and It was the perfect complement after our meals.
Amazing service. I sat down to order before I realized I had to leave due to a family member needing surgery. They expedited my order even though I feel I inconvenienced them. I’m only in town for a few days but will definitely revisit when I’m back!
Update: the chicken tenetian is to die for! It tasted amazing. It’s definitely out of our way to visit again but it’s a must!!
Excellent food. There are many Mediterranean restaurants in this area but the food in this restaurant is different. For example, all Mediterranean restaurant, have chicken kebabs, which is basically grilled chicken. This one has Tunisian chicken kebabs, which are wonderfully marinated. There are a lot of vegetarian dishes. There’s several items I’ve never seen before in a Mediterranean restaurant. The service is also good. The atmosphere is lovely. And there’s ample free parking right in front.
The side salad on the Tunisian chicken was so big it was like a meal in itself. Usually when I go, I bring at least part of my meal home.
Great little spot for lunch with pretty good service. The pita for the hummus was undercooked. The grape leaves were good but the rice filling was a bit dry. The lamb bowl was very tasty and quite filling. The ground lamb was seasoned great and amazing. The baklava was also great, super crisp with great flavor and not too sweet. Their Turkish coffee had good flavor and was strong but I have no reference point on authenticity or quality.
Friendly staff. Delicious food. Romantic environment
Such a wonderful and unexpected addition to the neighborhood. The ambiance is gorgeous for a date but also welcoming for families with a kids menu our kiddos will love. Food was so great. We had the sampler and lamb and chicken rice bowls. We cannot wait to bring family/friends and will be there often.
