My go to place for my carne asada fries and California burrito fix and family breakfast tacos! First time for everything ordered a
Mar y Tierra burrito sadly had very little steak and only 2 pieces of shrimp :(
I'll be back as service and food never disappoint.
We love this place. We come every Saturday morning for breakfast tacos with our large family. Everyone is super friendly and the food is consistently good. It feels like family.

If you really like authentic Mexican Food, at a good price try this place. If your missing a home cooked type of meal this is the next best thing.
Tasty but no atmosphere
Had quick service (waitresses literally running), tacos and pollo asada with standard rice, beans, etc. Good food, good friendly service. Reasonable prices, would return.
E X C E L L E N T food (did I mention the food was excellent?đ) !! Very good menu selection with extremely courteous staff. Everything is made fresh to order and they are NOT stingy with the food portions. Had their fish tacos and the barbacoa was incredible. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION!
Very busy place. I really wasn't sure what to expect but the food was really good. You order at the counter and then they bring it to you. Lots of options besides just tacos. They don't have queso so I was a little disappointed. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was delicious. I will definitely be back for Tacos.
I absolutely LOVE the mini street tacos- carne asada and al pastor are delicious!! We're always greeted by friendly staff, the restaurant is clean, salsa bar is fully stocked with an awesome variety (the hottest red is my fave), and you get a lot of food for the price. My only suggestion is heat up the enchiladas a little more so ALL the cheese is melted. :)
If those negative reviews were true then Robertos must've really improved! The place was clean, staff were very friendly, and the food and service was excellent. I love their salsa bar because it didn't have 5 different colors of watery salsa, it has salsas that were very different from each other and each one was outstanding. I also found it reasonably priced with HUGE portions. I will be back soon
This location is so much better than the location off bitters. Tortillas tasted better and even though it was 1am, the young man who was working in the front was pleasant!
Tacos are delish. Went for first time today, grabbed some tacos to go. Hearty, delicious. Great tasting, spicy salsas from their salsa bar. Will be going back, and often.
Uhmazing. One of the best Mexican food spots in San Antonio. The tacos are ridiculous and so are the prices!

We liked the food, we liked the prices and the customer service. We didnât enjoy the channel on television (not family friendly) but the staff changed one of the TV channels there were 3 TVs). Overall good food and good service.
Great food here, especially their fajita nachos. Enjoy the salsa bar which ranges from edible to regrettably way too spicy for me.
It has a family-owned feel but itâs in a nicely built shopping center. Good mix of people on both sides of the desk that made it feel like a safe place to grab a bite (itâs sit-down. I thought it was fast food until I came in).
The salsa bar is humble but has a good selection of sauces with a handy heat indicatorâprevents one from accidentally ruining their food.
The tacos were great quality but had nearly no flavor. Not sure the shredded beef was seasoned at all but it was still very good.
California burrito was awesome! French fries inside a burrito with carne asada? Absolutely! If you pass on the tacos, definitely consider the burrito because itâs massive and delicious.
Overall it was a great visit. Worth the trip if youâre craving good Mexican food.
Don't sit in line at Las Palapas next door with this gem just steps away. Extensive taco selection, warm chips, salsa bar, generous servings. The guacamole, beef burrito was huge and stuffed with beef, no bean or potato fillers. Super clean and fast friendly service.
This mexican Restaurant is DELICIOUS! Huge portions for the price you pay and we'll seasoned. Everything we tried was so yummy. We went there 3 days in a row it was that good!
I've probably been here more than any other restaurant in my life. Standardization and consistency are the best thing about this place. You always know exactly what you're getting and it's always delicious. My favorite place.
I've had issues with this place not serving my food hot on multiple occasions! On this visit all the food was fresh and hot!! Gave me Cali vibes! This place only lacks consistency unfortunately.

Did a to go order and the food was good. But what irked me was, I can see my order sitting in the window, the main cashier was busy but several employees walked to the front and no one can take the initiative to put my order in a bag. I'm sitting right up to the front counter. I had to stop someone and ask them to give me my order.
Moved to San Antonio from San Diego and I was missing some good Mexican food. This place does not disappoint! Get you a California burrito and some rolled tacos and you'll be good to gođ
24/7 tacos! It's taco Tuesday at any hour! Es pretty good! I like the salsa bar which includes grilled onions and whole jalapenos. Fresh pico, onion and cilantro would be great addition to it.

First of all, I'm happy to give this location 5 stars. My wife and I love to go here for breakfast every so often. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious! My only issue (and this goes for many quality Mexican restaurants in San Antonio that I've eaten at) is that they don't make fresh flour tortillas on site. Anyone who grew up making your own or in a house where Mom or Grandma would make fresh tortillas knows what I'm talking about. I understand restaurants like this can go through hundreds if not a thousand tortillas in a day, and some prepackaged factory made tortillas can even be good when they're fresh and not reheated (to make them seem fresh). Some restaurants zap them in the microwave to warm them up, then roll them in foil for you. The problem is that once they cool back down, they can become extra chewy and even hard around the edges as the moisture evaporates. When I find somewhere that has outstanding, homemade tasting flour tortillas, it is really the icing on the cake for me! I love Los Balito's, but would love them even more if they could figure out how to improve this one thing that so many of their dishes come with and that many people like to order sides of.
