Great restaurant!!! Clean bathroom...food was really good, I had the combo fajitas and my friend had the chicken quesadilla soooo yummy!!
We were heading to a restaurant 11 miles away when we passed this one. Being from out of town we thought we would give it a try and avoid the traffic on 410. Glad we did. Awesome food. More than you can eat. Chips, salsa, and cheese free when you sit down. We ordered the 3 taco dinner, came with beans, rice, salad, and guacamole. Quick friendly service.

El Tequila is a good spot for breakfast. The service was friendly, and the food was great. I ordered an Asada taco along with the pork chop breakfast plate, and a Mexican Coke to drink.
Loved their crispy tripas, bean chorizo, nopalitos con huevi, chicharron con huevo and their huevos Ranchero plate. Great service and a variety of delicious Mexican food. First tome here, loved it!

Very VERY good, i definitely recommend. The service may be kind of slow over the weekend but the food is very worth it. I love the horchata they have. Honestly my rating is 9/10
OMG! Like for real now! 4 tacos and rice and beans and you can roll me out of here! Some Karen would be talking about how the staff isnāt fluent in English, Iām here to tell you, these ladies are beyond amazing. Service is outstanding. Likeā¦ even more than outstanding. Food is great. Generous and seasoned to perfection. Sauces are tasty and not ripping the skin off your inside of your face hot. Have I mentioned I am overly stuffed? These are 4 corn shell tacos Mexican style with rice and beans (should of not ordered them, because the tacos would have been enough. 2 Dr Pepper and all this food for $22! OMG Iām stuffed!
Good food at a value. The service was friendly, fast, and helpful. The location is bad due to some beggars. We enjoyed our meals and I loved the nopales a corn tortillas.

10/10!!! Came in the evening and were seated immediately, and our server brought out the best chips with queso and salsa. They were so warm and didnāt taste stale they seemed freshly made! The menu has lots of options. The breakfast looked amazing, but unfortunately they donāt serve it all day, but weāll definitely be back to try it. The street tacos with carne asada were fantastic! The meat had that little bit of char smokeyness from the grill, and they were so large I ended up only eating half of one. We also tried the steak quesadilla. It was HUGE. It was great, as was the Mexican rice it comes with. Most flavorful, not dried out Mexican rice Iāve ever had. I also tried a piƱa agua fresca and it was yummy. For dessert we took a 4 leches cake to go and it was amazing, highly recommend.
Our server was very nice and our food came out maybe 5 minutes after ordering. It was super fast! It seemed like a nice vibe in the restaurant and very straight forward comforting Mexican food. Weāll stop by again for sure considering my husband wonāt stop talking about how good it was!
It can get noisy. Especially when juke box is played. Good food for the price. Service is always good.
(Left) I ordered an Enchilada plate my husband (Right)ordered the shrimp and fish. The shrimp was alittle over cooked and dry and never was brought the tarter sauce as the waitress promised and the refill took forever but aside from that it was good. Thank you.
The menudo is the best Iāve ever had . Full meat and hardly any fat .

This was my first time eating at El Tequila. I had the carne guisada taco plate. It was scrumptious! So much so that, I canāt even tell you want anyone else has for dinner! LOL
El Tequila is worth a visit!
Great place for breakfast tacos for sure. Came here as a high school student all the time, and a definite spot to visit any time I'm in San Antonio. Their Bean & Cheese tacos, Beef Fajita tacos, and Jamaica are definitely worth trying. 3 Leches Cake is actually really good and a great dessert option. Everyone properly wore masks, which made me feel safe during COVID-19. Keep up the great work, can't wait to visit San Antonio again.
