Before my flight back home to Chicago on 4-20-23, I sought my final meal in San Antonio. I happened to find it at a San Antonio-based fast food institution, Whataburger.
Because it was my first time at a Whataburger and there were plenty of items on the menu that I was considering, initially, I did not know what to order. That was solved by the very friendly order taker, Peggy. She suggested the Patty Melt, which was one item that I considered getting. I accepted her suggestion and ordered the Patty Melt combo. The sandwich was so delicious that I returned to Peggy's register to order a second! Although the taste of my meal was pleasant and enjoyable, the friendliness of Peggy and the other employees on duty at the time made my visit even more enjoyable! I will return to this Whataburger location during my next visit to San Antonio.
This chili burger is huge and delicious and the Fritos were still crunchy when I got to my destination.
Been to this location several times now. I think its decently clean for being downtown, although one of the toilets needed to be serviced today at 9am on a Saturday. Food usually tastes pretty good from here. Definitely not my fav whataburger in town but it is the closest one to me.
BOB was great. They didn’t have the French vanilla creamer for the coffee but had half and was thankful for that. Good service.
Awesome good fast empty after sat & ate got the #20 first time tasted like popcorn to me.
Great tasting food and the tea was fresh. Some places tend to let the tea go bad and not even change it, but this location is not like that. Place was clean.
I really don’t know why I like Whataburger so much. I guess it just habit by now. The food is good enough - not better than other places, but better than most. I do love those taquitos though. Coffee is pretty decent and way cheaper than the other place.
Fast service, exactly as ordered, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
Went to the drive thu this late morning ordered food when time to pay I noticed I didn’t have enough so I started to tell Devin that I didn’t have enough but he didn’t let me finish his response was oh how much are you short I got you I was very flattered but asked if I could do a split payment and his answer was yes it warmed my heart that he offered to pay the other half not many people do that anymore this guy deserves employee of the month I also wanted to give him something for himself so gave him a tip well deserved my friend keep up the great work stay positive and work hard

I go to the Whataburger on Commerce & Gen. McMullen the most. I love their burgers and drinks. Service is always cheery and I like the way they come around and check on you, other fast food places don't. I stopped in recently to cool off. I ordered a large strawberry shake. It was great !!! Flavorful !!! Their large shake is 32oz. !!! 😃 McDonald's: 22oz. 😐 Burger King: 12oz.☹
The homeless man nodding out in the drive thru was interesting..... But the food was great so keep it up!
I like the consistency of service here for the most part, food doesn't feel like it sits around for an hour before being served.
When i order online i select the option to cut my burger in half and they do it! Good attention to detail. 🤠
Comfortable atmosphere to dine in or simply do some work in your laptop while sipping on a hot cup of Joe.

It was good been to worse places. The guy serving the condiments was a bit nervous or clumsy. Reason why I didn't give five stars all the way down. Sorry condiment guy. Wouldn't mind stopping by again if I'm down that way though.
