Today, on Thursdays, this restaurant serves chicken mole, it is quite a tasty dish. The food was delicious, the service was poor, the waitress had forgotten about us, she never came back to check on us. The restaurant is old and tired looking, it could use a face-lift.
Good place. Unique Mexican decoration. Good service. Great price, very affordable. We paid $20 for a order or nachos w/beef, a giant burrito Jalisco and a steak plate, which was delicious.

The service was alright, the lady didn't come and check on us and made sure we needed something else. We had to ask one of the other girls. The food was so good. I always pass by this place but I never stop until my friend invited me. It's a hidden gem. Great prices and delicious food. I would definitely recommend people to come here and I will definitely come back ♥️

I was in the neighborhood and found this absolutely amazing place. I have been on this Earth for almost half a century and I have lived in this town for 2/3 of that time. This is, without any debate, one of the best Mexican restaurants I have been to in that time.
It's located on the corner of a neighborhood on the west side of downtown, and if you want to have a taste of what local food is all about, you need to go here.
I keep ordering the number nine, which is the Mexican platter, consists of a crispy taco, two cheese and beef enchiladas, rice, beans, and a little bit of lettuce tomato salad on the same plate. Also included are two tortillas, separate, and the obligatory chips and salsa while you wait. This massive amount of food, and I mean good food, really, really good food only costs $5.99. That's amazing.
I have friends coming in from all over the place looking for the best that San Antonio has to offer, and I bring them here. It's that good. Do yourself a favor and visit this place, your stomach will thank you.
I give 5 stars to very few places but this place is outstanding in every way...the food didn't take long yet it had that just made warmth and taste...the waitress was pretty and spoke just enough not too much...and I have to admit for being on the west side of town the atmosphere was joyful and not somber and quiet I definitely would recommend this place to anyone.
My favorite hole-in-the-wall! Food is delicious, unbelievably affordable, big plates, and they treat you like family. I wish they would open in the evenings, but the schedule is understandable given the location. The inside needs a little work, but the food quality, customer service, and overall value makes up for it! Totally recommend this place for breakfast and lunch.

Really nice place for breakfast. The wife and I had a excellent breakfast experience. The food was really good especially the added bacon to the papas and the $2 pork chop. Tortillas were fresh and warm. Definitely a good place to stop if your looking for good food at cheap prices.
