The Wok Inn has been in business for many years, which should say a little something about this place. I'm only giving it four stars for these reasons: I ordered jalapeno chicken and it cost me just under $12 however, this did not even include an egg roll. I mean for 12 bucks at a Chinese restaurant.....that should at least include an egg roll. It did come with rice and a cup of soup but the soup was not very hot. Also, most places that serve jalapeno chicken serve it with crispy lightly fried pieces of chicken. This place does not. But, I will say that the food was tasty and the main dish was nice and hot even though the soup wasn't. There are daily lunch and dinner specials but the specials are only one particular dish. You don't get multiple choices. Will I go back? Yeah, I'll go back. It would be nice if they served egg rolls with all of their meals though!

Food was super hot and super fresh. I paid 70 for orange chicken , beef and broccoli , teriyaki beef ala carte , double order of crab Rangoon , egg rolls, and a 2 liter of sprite.
The delivery driver, she was ultra quick!! I was quoted 45 minutes, she showed up in 25.
Can't say it was quite worth 70 but it was close. Will definitely prefer again when I have that Asian craving 😊❤️💪💪💪💪.
As much as I like to pop in here for lunch, the fact that for over a year now they almost never have chopped green onion at the soup bar and usually do not even have it for the kitchen to cook with really bothers me. It is not due to cost, green onions are dirt cheap. I just don't get it. It is a running joke with the waitress, she sees me coming in and says "No Green Onion, don't be mad at me".

Food was tasty, generous portions, the hot & sour soup was probably the best one I’ve ever tasted.
Extremely fast and efficient service. The food was at our table even before we actually sat down lol

One of the few places you can get a full meal for $10 in this day and age. I didn't bring lunch to work and decided I would give this place a try. I chose the Mongolian Beef plate it was $9.95 and it didn't disappoint. I got a huge serving of Mongolian Beef and the beef tasted like beef unlike some other places where its sketchy. Steamed Rice and 2 Huge Crab Rangoons as you can see by the attached photo it was bussin out the box. Not to mention this also came with a sweeet iced tea and a hot and sour soup. I was skeptical from the reviews but like they say you gotta try it for yourself as life if full of different experiences. If your in the area and craving a decnt chinese food fix for $10US give them a try. 5+ Stars
I’ve been coming to wok inn almost 40 years this particular location . As I feel the other locations are just not like their original location I’ve never had any problems/issues until today. Order my family the lunch specials came home and all my lemon chicken were pink/red. I absolutely hate to call and complain and The only reason I did because our meals were pretty expensive for lunch. When I explained what happened the lady I spoke to was apologetic, I’m assuming at that point she spoke with the manager or owner place me on hold and Let me know I could either get my money back or remake the meal. I asked them to remake the order thinking it was just going to be the chicken they were replacing . When I arrived they had replaced the lunch plates. Again apologizing .After almost 40 yrs of our family being customers we will continue to support wok inn and thankful they fixed the issues without hesitation.

I have been coming to Wok Inn since the 90s. It is by far my favorite Chinese restaurant. Always flavorful and fresh. Perfect egg rolls and Rangoon. My favorite dish is the beef and broccoli.
Now that they have multiple locations, it seems like they struggle with consistency. The original restaurant off Grissom or the one off of Potranco are the only ones I will go to because I've tried several other locations, and they are just not the same. Back in the day 5 stars with the best fried rice. Today, they get 4 because there are times we have ordered to go and fried rice is more on bland side, or soup taste watered down. Still good just not like they had been. This is not usually case when we eat in.
These guys never miss!. I have been going to wok inn for year's. I can't say they've messed up my order or my order is too easy? Great place great price!
I love the food. Staff is always friendly. The inside dine in definable news some up keep tho. Looks pretty run down.
Been coming here over 25 years and never had any issues! I love this place it's a San Antonio original!
