Came to Taqueria La Tapatia #8, for lunch was very impressed with this Taqueria.
Santiago, the manager and his staff are very friendly and professional.
It will be very hard to decide what to eat because everything looks and smells great. My favorite is the red sauce and chips.
This place is open from 6 am and closes at 11 during the week, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday.
Make sure to visit Taqueria La Tapatia for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you will not be disappointed.
We love eating here because the food is always good and the service is quick. There are a lot of options and you'll always find something you like. The drive thru goes fast and the food is hot. Stop by when you are hungry and you'll leave with a full tummy. Lunch specials are great with tea included!
Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. Part of the dining room was blocked off so it felt a bit claustrophobic but all in all great place.
Order tacos through the drive thru. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious! Very good sized tacos. Will definitely be coming back!

The food is delicious!!! The tortillas aren't that great, though. The service was good, but I felt they needed to check up on us, we were a party of 9, more often. No music on, just a loud TV. The place is nice and clean!!!

I came here with my bf. I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile because I did a delivery for this place and it looked like a good taqueria place. It was delicious food and I enjoyed it a lot! The only problem was the wait for the food. It took about 30 minutes or longer to get food out but we were trying to be patient and nice about it. It wasn't really too packed but we only saw our server once, when she greeted us. And we saw other servers that weren't busy at all. We had to ask for refills when our glasses were low. We had to keep asking for our food which I thought wouldn't be long at all for a taqueria. Lol! My friend got the molè plate and I got a side of beef fajitas. We also started with the queso flamado, which is so amazing and is the original reason for me coming here. The chips and salsa isn't bad either. So, the food is great, however the service needs to match. I'm hoping next time it won't take so long to get our meal. I would have given it 5 stars. But since I'm really picky with my Mexican food and I liked the food here, I went high on the Stars. Cheers!😛🎉🎊🎉

My four year old ate her whole plate. The Carne guisada was delicious (according to my picky eater).
The server didn't ask us for refills or check on us. There wasn't a greeting either but other than that I liked it and will go again
I have to say that the bathroom was nice and clean. You can smell the clean when you walk in. I usually don't use the restroom at a taqueria because I always find them messy but this one was clean so I had no problem letting my daughter go there.
The Togo orders have a great asthetitic... eating inside is comfortable and the entire place is super clean. Pricing is great and reasonable. Carne guisada is amazing along with mini tacos.
I’m my opinion the best Mexican restaurant in San Antonio in terms of food and price every other restaurant has gone up in price not this one and the servers are really nice.
