This place is on the corner of W. Martin and Colorado St and was in the 1960's 70's and 80's my mom and dads grocery store and meat market. It's now Regia Cocina and this place is superb. The food (tacos including barbacoa) were delicious. I highly recommend it if you're in the area, stop by and get some excellent food. The atmosphere in this pleasingly old-fashioned restaurant is so enjoyable and relaxing too.
It was my first time in this place and the attention seemed perfect very friendly all the delicious food a spectacular atmosphere this is a very good place to eat something since they have tables inside and outside I highly recommend them excellent food place 🙌🏽
This place is my little home. The owner and her daughterers are so nice. The food always fresh and hot. Made the way you ask for it. A hidden gem. This was the first place I ate when I came back to the city.

At the corner of N. Colorado and West Martin, is a very good restaurant called Regina's Cocina.
It looks like a hole in the wall Cafe that you would think that does not get any business, however though your first impression of the place would be wrong.
I have gone here for Breakfast and Lunch and have had a great experience each time I have gone here. Prices are very affordable (For example I bought 3 bacon egg and cheese tacos and paid $ 7.67. I ordered a Enchalada plate and sweet tea for lunch and paid 9.69 ). Loved the Enchaladas by the way. 😀😀😀
I definitely do Recommend coming to this place if your ever in the area. It does look like a hole in the wall cafe however they wil give you a Better first impression.

It was great. Ate some menudo and a barbacoa taco. It was delicious! I've eaten there several times already. And I plan on going back tomorrow! Service is great, and the waitress was great too.
I love enchiladas. I have eaten at a lot of different places but at Regias Cocina their enchiladas are freakin good! This is only my opinion. From the outside of the restaurant it doesn't look like much but who cares it's the way the cook makes the food. Also they are very friendly when you walk in the door. Guys give this place a try.

Just got done eating with my kiddos the breakfast was amazing I loved how everything was so fresh and hot! Tortillas are crazy yummy it unlocked my childhood memories ❤️ I had to thank the cook personally before leaving. Thank you again. Definitely coming back!
Hteen Hot sauce needs improving for south Texas taste. Add hand full Serrano peppers and tomatillos put in grinder for 3 minutes. These two items together only. Don't leave them in the blender too long you will end up with a gravy sauce.
Tacos are small, but they are soooo good. Would definitely buy again.
If you blink you'll miss it, because It's a small tiny restaurant. you walk in and none of the chairs match, and you just know it's going to be great, and it was! tacos were fat, and three of these bad boyz for $2.89, I would have paid much more. salsa was good and spicy I was really impressed that's such a tiny restaurant could turn out such a great food. Good job😉
