Great atmosphere and quite a unique spin on Mexican dishes. Somehow they manage to take meals that are normally soups and turned them into otherwise. Which sounds crazy enough but somehow they persevered the flavor and taste. The food was delicious. On top of all that they had a pianist playing and that really set the mood for I the entire dinner. Highly recommend this place for some fine Mexican dining

Cool, funky ambiance with some tasty food. A little overpriced but definitely different ingredient combinations than anything else in SA. They have a cool little setup with the open bar on the right, a middle circular room with a piano, and family dining on the left. The art is Frida themed of course with a lot of plants and cool color combinations. You could stare at the art for hours. I think they have an art gallery or support artists as well? Super tall ceilings which give it a grandiose feeling and very well done interior decorating. We sat in the center circular room with the piano. Yes! There was a piano player for about half of our visit which was fun. We started with the roasted cauliflower and the sauce was errrmahhgaww 🤤🤯 The cauliflower wasn't cooked much different than you'd expect but that sauce stole the show. Definitely try this if you visit!! Then we shared a plate of duck confit flautas. They were okay. Would have been better with the cauliflower sauce 😜 We also shared some guac which came with crispy cheese chips. I wasn't a fan of the cheese chips and asked for regular tortilla chips. Portion sizes were generous so we were able to take some home for a midnight snack. Dishes and sides are all priced and ordered separately so it can really add up. We paid ~$100 for those 3 items and a margarita each. I'm not dying to go back and try the other menu items but I will have dreams about that cauliflower sauce! If you're thinking if visiting, it's definitely worth a try.

Frida's was great! We grabbed dinner Friday, and it was the perfect relaxed spot. The interior is nicely decorated and in the inner circle, they had a pianist playing very nice music. For dinner, we started with the chips and chicharones and drinks. The drinks are smooth and strong. The chicharones were also fresh and good as well. They give you two salsas, but we preferred the salsa verde. It could use some heat, but its still tasty. For our main course, we had the duck flautas and rib-eye tacos. The picture for the tacos came out blurry, but they were really good! Both plates were good, and all the ingredients were fresh. For dessert we went with a classic chocolate cake. The cake was good, but it was cold in the middle. I would have given a full five stars if it wasn't for that. All around a good place for a nice dinner.

We were nearby Frida, and I told Daniel Garza , the Manager that we were undecided whether to go or not, we said and think in Cuishe Cocina Mexicana, but we choose Frida. Well we were at:4:00 they just open and The manager Daniel greeted and welcomed us. He took us to our table, and then Withney our waitress arrived, gave us the menu to choose our meals. After sitting down at our table we noticed that there were crumbs scattered on the table and we called Whitney to let her know about it We were surprised by the spaciousness of the place and the good choice in its decoration, the candlesticks, a royal blue piano in a kind of private area in the center of the restaurant, Frida's paintings and the dishes that I saw on the restaurant's website menu. With a new age Mexican food style adding the very personal decoration, I mean the presentation on each plate is very sophisticated is out of the ordinary, it looked delicious. I asked for the: Tacos Short-Rib a las Brasas and they were delicious, my sister asked for: Fideo Seco, unfortunally it was so salty she told our waitress and she told the manager, then he came to our table to apologize for the inconvenience, and told us he tasted the Fideo Seco and he said: "yes it was salty" but don't worry about it, do you want to order something else instead of the fideo, if not this wil not be charged to your check, we said no thank you we are fine, then she had ordered: Flautas de Pato, and she said were so tasty. We were surprised when we asked for salt, I mean a salt shaker, they told us that they did not have salt shakers so they brought us salt in a metal cup. So hope to come back soon, we enjoy it although the Fideo Seco! but did'nt ruin our dinner, thanks Daniel who knew how to handle the situation in a very professional manner and correct it & thanks to Frida!

Absolutely a must try!!! My husband and I did a foodie day to find places off the normal path of food chains and this was definitely a fantastic choice!! Thank you Ashley for your amazing service and recommendations!! Karina the general manager was absolutely on point as well!! From the appetizer Trio de quesdillas to tacos de suadero (6 hour braised brisket😋) and the churros w/4 different dipping sauces which arrives on its on miniature little cart to sit on your table! Last but not the least the El jarrito was absolutely delicious coctail with infused tamarindo w/citrus!! We'll definitely be back!! Thank you for your hospitality!

The atmosphere is gorgeous! What a beautiful place! And the two gentleman playing guitar were fantastic. The appetizers were very tasty and the drinks were great. Our main entrees though, they were all really greasy. Not one of us could eat them. One even ordered something else. Other than that it was a wonderful night out.
