This place is a staple and the kind of place where the core staff remembers you’re name pretty quickly. Best everything bagel around. Can’t go wrong with any order but the lowers is a fav of ours. It’s one of the few places whose quality hasn’t dipped with skyrocketing price and usually pretty consistently great.
Absolutely love this place! You can get a delicious bagel sandwich with bagel chips and an OJ for close to 10.00! You can’t find that most places. I also love supporting local businesses! This is a true find in San Clem. Stoked to have found this gem and will be coming back!
Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Had the Baja Malibu and it was fantastic. The bagel was nice and soft. The onions were caramelized, sliced avacado and cream cheese along with eggs. it was so tasty.
Coffee was excellent, bagel was fresh and toasted well. They were a little light on the cream cheese, but the cream cheese has nice flavor. Quick service, limited parking.
This is about the 5th time I've been here and each time I've enjoyed my food. I think I've had about 4 different breakfast bagel sandwiches now. The service is good and even when they are busy they still do a great job of getting orders out fast to move things along. Definitely a staple in the area.
Churches “sandwich” was delicious. Missed House of Bagels from the central coast and this was the closest I have come to recreating it. Would definitely go back.
One of our local favorites! Fresh and delicious bagels, bagel breakfast sandwiches are SO GOOD! My kids absolutely love The Bagel Shack, as well!
Parking can be tough, but we expect that, so you just roll with it. Budget extra time if you need to - the food and experience are worth it!

The Jalapeno cheddar bagel is super tasty! The lox bagel sandwich was phenomenal.

visited from the east coast, i’ve had a lot of good bagels and Bagel Shack exceeded expectations! the open faced more gourmet style bagels were better in my opinion. pairs perfectly with a Zebra House coffee down the street.
Best bagels I have had. Super fresh with a wide variety to choose from. They also have day old bagels at a discount. Loved the jalapeño cheddar, blueberry and everything bagels. Dough is fresh with doughy, chewy texture - very tasty. Highly recommend for those heading down to the San Diego area
The Bagel Shop is a must stop if you are visiting San Clemente. I love their breakfast bagels. They have a great selection of sandwich bagels, spreads, coffee and many varieties of bagels to go.

Just unreal amazing. Best everything bagel I’ve ever had. I got it “Churches” with avocado, tomato, cream cheese and lemon pepper.
Came back a few days later to take home two dozen to freeze. They also have day old bagels for $7!
Usually packed but don’t have to wait that long they are super efficient. Wish we had one of these back in Phoenix!

Broc, the owner of The Bagel Shack, recommended the Smoked Turkey Bacon bagel sandwich. I don't usually eat turkey but I loved it! I got the jalapeño bagel with it. It was just what I needed. Will stop by again if I'm in the area. Thanks for the recommendation Broc, it was delicious.
Their bagels are delicious, there's lots of variety, and the staff is the best. I screwed up an online order (totally wrong location) and they helped me fix it even though cancelling/redirecting wasn't possible with the software they use. We've been coming here for years and their bagels are the best!
