The food is amazing, nice ambience and all the staff except for our waitress was really nice. She never smiled, never checked on us or refilled our drinks she just looked pissed off. I figured she was just having a bad day but my husband said she’s always like that. Oh well. Everything else is 5 � though!
The Grill House Cafe is one of my favorite persian restaurant's in San Diego. I eat here often. The food is great, the owner's are very friendly and accomodating and the tea is fantastic. Also, they have catered three events for me and everyone always raves about how delicious everything is. If you want great food, terrific customer service and nice friendly owners who truly want you to be happy, this is the place.

I was recommended this place because I heard it great things. I got the combination plate which contained chicken and beef kabob with rice. Food tasted great but not how everyone made it seem. Would I come back here? Yes I would. Price was not bad and service was great. Restaurant was clean and not dirty. Only thing was there was only 1 waiter working the whole restaurant so If we needed something it took a little longer than usual. Other than that great overall experience
Great food with a warm friendly atmosphere. The food is cooked perfect with authentic persian flavor. Make sure to save room for desert and don't forget the tea! We will definitely be back and you should check it out too!
I’ve tried so many Persian or Middle Eastern restaurants in San Diego and this place really stands out, like the other reviewers noted. Everything was delicious down to the rice being perfectly fluffy and moist. The chicken kabob was cooked perfectly! The restaurant is also very clean and beautiful, only topped by the fabulous service. Will definitely be coming back.

We have ordered several times for delivery. Everything we have tried has been great. However every time we order the side salad that comes with entrees is never included. It is so frustrating. They always credit us money for the oversight but it doesn’t satisfy the palate when you wants some greens to complement your entree.
Very friendly owner and staff. Great and tasty mediterrean cuisine. The lamb shank and lamb kebob we ordered was super delicious!!

My cousin chose this place for dinner and it was not a disappointment. Ordered the Gyro Plate and arrived with a large portion of meat and rice. Food was delicious and device was excellent. Our waiter kept taps on us and refilled our drinks before having to ask. I would definitely eat here again!
Very clean and nicely appointed restaurant. Nikki was very attentive and efficient waitress and took our orders within minutes of arrival. The food was as good as it looks, but the chicken was just a bit over cooked and dry. Great seasonings, though, and the rice was excellent with just the right amount of saffron to make it flavorful, but not overpowering.

A awesome place to eat. My first Persian food experience, quite different from Turkish or greek good. The Diti was done beautifully. The eggplant dip was super tasty. So is the vegetarian soup!
The day special meal was Baqi polo ba goosht so i ordered that with mast moosir the meal came with fresh bread the rice was okay but the meat was so good , well cooked not greasy at all didn’t smell bad ( if you do nit know how to cook sheep meat is smelling so bad). And best customer service after when he brought our meal he asked if we want onion with out food and after when we done he asked if we want tea.
Excellent Persian food here. Xereshk polo very flavorful rice with just the right amount of barberry and saffron topping. Chicken kabob juicy and also very flavorful. Ghormeh Sabzi I'm used to a bit more sour, but that is home cooking for you haha. Highly recommend this place
My go to Iranian restaurant. The food is great and the service is awesome. I usually order the family style bbq plate that’s comes with rice, chicken and ground beef or lamb. Hummus and the yogurt drink are house recipe and they are amazing.
