Great quaint authentic Italian food.

Husband and I in town for convention and based on reviews decided to give this restaurant a try. Did not disappoint!! Service was great and the so was the food. We had the lasagna and the chicken piccata. Both were great. Soup pf the day was lentil and we had the house salad, both great as well. If we come back to San Diego, we will certainly visit again!

Service was spot on, ask for Jonathan. I threw them a curve with some special requests and the food still came out perfect. I had the spaghettini and my wife had the rabbit ravioli and it was delicious. Atmosphere was noisy and fun and the place was beautiful. The wine list was top notch and the prices were very reasonable. Good for foodies and wine snobs.

Loved it! Loved it. Loved it!

Small intimate place bustling with activity. Didn't need a reservation but I'm sure reservations are the best way to go.

I had the lasagna. Authentic! The penne arribiata was spicy and perfectly al dente.

Grilled vegetable salad was superb. Great wine selection. Excellent service.

Loved it!!

Nice little restaurant not far from little Italy and down town. The lasagna was amazing and so was  the brasato con polenta. Real authentic Italian food!

Excellent find! Small intimate setting with homemade Italian fare. The home made pasta was terrific as was the polenta. Very authentic and delicious!

During a spontaneous visit to San Diego we were looking for any good restaurants when we stumbled upon Parma Cucina Italiana due to its good reviews online. And I can say that the team didn't disappoint. We had different pasta of which all were delicious. Also the service was on point so that we really enjoyed our visit and would definitley come back next time we are around.

Such a charming spot. We were visiting and accidentally stumbled upon this place. Once you come here, you are family. We had a phenomenal time with Roberta and Barbara. We had so much fun with them. The food was amazing such a shame I forgot to take pictures. We had the spaghetti bolognese and we ate every morsel. Everything is fresh! Trust me, take a chance on them and it’ll be your “go to” Italian spot!

Food was delicious and service was excellent. I had their squid ink pasta, which was their special of the day, and octopus salad. Everyone was super friendly, personable, and attentive. Make reservations because they do get busy during dinner service.

The best Italian food I've ever had in my life. Took my girlfriend there for a little date night on our San Deigo vacation and needless to say, we will most definitely be back. The pesto was the best I've had in my life.

Amazing ❣️ We went without reservation around 610 ish on a Tuesday, and it was pretty relaxed. It had a cozy atmosphere. The food was amazing-- we had the Tues-Date special, and it was a mixed seafood risotto (which we asked to be changed into linguini; best choice we've made). We also had the tortellini and vongole, which were great. The food was perfectly portioned, and we enjoyed the dinner from the beginning to the end. Also, I definitely recommend getting the lemon sorbet at the end! We ordered one appetizer, 4 main (2 special menu), 3 desserts, 2 glasses of wine. About $45 per person. One note: due to the location, it is quite difficult to find a space to park.

This is my third visit to Parma Cucina Italiana, and I can confidently say that I'll be back again and again. The food is incredibly delicious. Roberta, the Italian waitress, is the best ever, and even the owner came to say Hi! 👋 Definitely a place you'll want to revisit. 👌🏻👌🏻

Incredible authentic Italian pasta! Wow, if you want delicious handmade pasta that melts in your mouth, this is THE place to go. I ordered the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese and it was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had! My husband got the cheese gnocchi dish and it was super creamy. The restaurant is small so the vibe is very personable. The owner and workers are so friendly, and service is quick. We also enjoyed their dessert Tartufo which was a chocolate hazelnut gelato with cocoa powder and chocolate sauce drizzled on top, which of course we were scraping the bowl for very last bite! This is a definite must if you’re a big Italian food fan while in San Diego, it’s not in the little Italy district but I think it’s better than the restaurants we saw there!

Pesto Linguine Shrimp Scampi fresh pasta and large shrimp. Flavor was not overpowering yet proper sauce thick texture. Sea bass special plentiful two large filets with a tomato accoutrement, very tssty and filling. Tiramisu was excellent very light smooth and creamy not overly sweet. Outdoor table seating. Service was good, checked on us regularly. But almost too much foot traffic between 2 tops near the restaurant and larger party tables near the curb. For some reason a lady ran several times between a store and somewhere farther down the street right through the table rows. Very distracting seating arrangement where pedestrians are walking constantly right by your table. Glanced indoors and the decor seemed slightly contemporary and simple I prefer the outdoor seating atmosphere seemed more Italian restaurants genuine. Would visit again.

This place offers incredible authentic Italian pasta! If you're craving delicious handmade pasta that melts in your mouth, this is the spot to visit. I opted for the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, and it turned out to be some of the best pasta I've ever had! My husband went for the cheese gnocchi dish, and it was wonderfully creamy. Despite its small size, the restaurant exudes a very personable vibe. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly, and the service is quick. We also indulged in their dessert, the Tartufo, featuring chocolate hazelnut gelato with cocoa powder and chocolate sauce drizzled on top. Needless to say, we were scraping the bowl for every last bite! This is a definite must-visit for Italian food enthusiasts while in San Diego. Although it's not in the Little Italy district, I believe it surpasses the restaurants we saw there!

Indulge in the authenticity of Italian pasta at its finest! This place is a culinary gem, offering mouthwatering handmade pasta that simply melts in your mouth. I opted for the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese, and it turned out to be some of the best pasta I've ever tasted. My husband went for the cheese gnocchi dish, which was incredibly creamy. The restaurant, although small, exudes a warm and personable vibe. The owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, providing quick and attentive service. To cap off our delightful meal, we savored the Tartufo dessert—a heavenly combination of chocolate hazelnut gelato adorned with cocoa powder and drizzled with chocolate sauce. Needless to say, we scraped the bowl for every last delectable bite! If you're a devoted fan of Italian cuisine, this place is a definite must-visit while in San Diego. Despite not being in the Little Italy district, I dare say it surpasses the offerings of the restaurants we observed there!

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in San Diego. The food is excellent, the service is great and the wine selection is very nice. I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this one is well deserved. See you again next time we are in town!

Don’t let the exterior fool you - this place is a GEM. The best lasagna I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Perfect date spot. Great wine selection. I can go on all day. 10/10.

While so many small local owned restaurants were lost to COVID, Parma had never lost it's charm and appeal. While the original owners have moved back to Florence, Italy, it's new part owners have maintained the same spectacular, personable service. We are greeted with a hug and their genuine, warm gratitude. Dinner tonight was the seafood risotto and as always, was prepared excellently!
