Absolutely loved this establishment. Visiting from the UK I had a target to try some authentic Mexican food. A family member said there was one place we should try at that was Oscars. I’m so glad they did. The food was fabulous and well worth the short wait to queue and order. I fully recommend anyone who likes Mexican seafood visits Oscars and I will be coming back next time I visit San Diego

Our Uber driver recommended we try this place and that we try the fish stew. I'm so glad he did! This is a terrific place for authentic, fresh Mexican seafood. I would rate this as the best place we ate on Pacific Beach. The owner was at the cash register, and she really listened to what our taste preferences and allergy issues are. She made excellent recommendations and accommodations to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. I would be eating here all the time if I were local.

I would move to San Diego just so I can eat here every week. Came in when they opened and the service was incredible. So friendly and welcoming. Had the smoked fish breakfast burrito and it was maybe one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Such a fair price too. They even gave me a free sample of their soup which was amazing as well. Can’t recommend enough!

Saw the reviews and decided to give it a try. The mixed ceviche is delicious! Make sure to try that. As far as tacos, the most tasty was the grilled octopus taco. Definitely a must get! Surf and turf was a close second.

Absolutely amazing food. I was in PB for 9 days and ate here 3 times. It is seriously good. Need to add more to this review, because many months later I still think of this place. If you are in the area, you need to come here. It is such an exceptional food experience. They have a wide variety of seafood to choose from, and you really can't go wrong. The sauces are lovely, and everything is cooked perfectly to order. Get shrimp tacos. Get fish tacos. Get ceviche. Get octopus. Get it all! You will not be disappointed. Of all the taco spots I visited in SD, this has to be my number one.

We had a great time here. We got two smoked fish tacos, a pulpo, and an al pastor for the two of us. We also got some chips and guacamole and they gave us the fish stew. Super yummy! Will definitely be back!

I am so glad that this place was recommended to us by a local skate shop. Had to try the Smoked Fish Taco, and it was so different and so delicious. The Fish Taco was also very good. Loved all the sauces too. Will definitely be back again.

Probably one of the best Tacos I ever had. Certainly god for meat and mostly fish lovers. But the vegan Soy chorizo taco was insanely good! Highly recommendable!

I heard about this spot and wanted to check it out. I’m glad I did. Quality tacos near the beach- no complaints. Was it the most memorable taco ever? No. Would I return? Sure!

Located inSan Diego’s Pacific Beach area at 746 Emerald St. this establishment offers authentic tacos and guacamole among other fare. The smoked fish tacos are THE BEST fish tacos I’ve ever eaten. The chunks of onion, cilantro, and avocado are so fresh. The guacamole was made fresh while I was waiting in line to order. The employees work hard to get food out quickly. The line can get long, and the wait is worth it. They have some indoor and outdoor seating. You can also get food to go. We had the smoked fish tacos, surf and turf taco (skirt steak and shrimp), grilled shrimp taco, and chips/guacamole. The chips were just okay. I used some store bought chips with ghe guac.
