Beautiful restaurant with great fish taxidermy including a giant pink Opah. The happy hour menu was great with sushi and beer and our waiter Dan had the great suggestion to get a fried soft shelled crab ala carte. My son said it was crunchy and meaty with all the good juices. I grew up in MD eating blue crabs and this was terrific. The chef was around and very friendly as well, he got my son drawing materials to study the many nautical and aquatic things to study. Not many seafood restaurants have this decor as it is hard to keep clean, but from mounted bass to bathroom and clear crustacean tank this place is dust free and does not smell like fish.

Favorite place to go eat lunch or dinner! Steak is on point and their sushi rolls are always fresh. My favorite though is the arugula and beet salad! It’s fresh and tasty and a perfect mixture of sweet and sour and cheesy!

The food that is served is tender, mouth watering, fresh, crisp, very tasty and delicious everytime I've eaten here. I have had the privilege of enjoying the following: Whole Main Lobster, the Two Lobster Tails, Fillet Mignon, Prime Rib, the 1/2 Dozen Oyster Sampler, Steamed Asparagus, Sweet Corn on the Cob, Roasted Beets Salad and I believe it was an Apple-pie Ala Mode with a Caramel Drizzle

Carlos was an excellent waiter that suggested and explained several options. He brought my entree so fast I thought I was getting a free appetizer! And yes, it was excellent!

We had a great experience! Daphne was wonderful explaining the menu and suggesting what turned out to be the perfect piece of Grilled sword fish. My wife enjoyed the crab cakes and said they were possibly the best she has ever had. Overall can’t wait to visit the Henderson location when we return to Vegas.

This restaurant worked out for our party of 30. Was impressed with the custom printed menus that greeted the organization. The staff brought bread and water immediately upon seating us, which was great. Orders came out pretty fast and most folks were pleased. Appreciation to staff and management.

I had an enjoyable time dining here while in town for a conference. The grilled rainbow trout was absolutely flavorful, especially with the lemon butter sauce. The fried Brussel sprouts were extremely tasty. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

I’m so heartbroken that I’m only able to give 4 stars! The service was great. We were seated promptly and the wait staff was so attentive. We got our orders of apps quickly as well as our dinners. We also made reservations prior to arrival, but I don’t think it would have made a difference if we hadn’t. Business did not pick up until about 630-7 that night and we arrived around 530pm. My app was delicious but my main entree was lacking. I ordered sushi and was a bit thrown off by this take on it, especially so close to the ocean. The rice was a little excessive in my opinion. Way too much. I did order the sticky rice though, so maybe that’s why is also felt so dense… the spicy tuna was good, but overall, it was not great. I would definitely go back for the poke, it was fresh and hit the spot! Others at the table also enjoyed their apps of artichoke hearts and bread, everything but my sushi seemed to be a hit! So maybe it deserved another visit for a different order!

I forgot that this restaurant is in this strip mall! Was back down south and met friends here. The food has always been very good, and today was no exception. We had 1/2 dozen oysters as apatizers. They were very good! I had halibut and grilled zucchini and the cauliflower. The flavor of everything was on point. My friend had the (no pictures) trout and mash potatoes and loved every bit of it. Alisha, our waitstaff was excellent as well. Great atmosphere. This place should always be packed. I'm glad it wasn't for our late lunch today. 10/10!!

Ate an excellent lunch at King’s Fish House! We sat on the dog friendly patio and ordered the rainbow roll, crunchy roll, and California roll for sushi, and also ordered the seared bluefin tuna with sides of Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes. All the seafood tasted very fresh and delicious. Loved the rainbow roll, one of the best I’ve had in a while. The service was great, friendly and quick. It is a bit pricey but the quality matches. Recommend!

Absolutely a fantastic place to dine at. From the beginning to end our experience was hands down the best. Jasmine was our waitress and she was fabulous. Our food was Devine! The Octopus was amazing. Bluefin Tuna just melted in my mouth and the scallops and shrimps done to perfection! Crème brûlée was a perfect finish to our meal.

From start to finish it was all wonderful. Drinks well made, food excellently prepared, service was great... One could say service seemed slow but really every table was filled and our server busted tail to get everything done. Definitely recommend making a reservation on a Friday night (I used Open Table)

King's Fish House in Mission Valley, San Diego is a seafood restaurant that offers a variety of fresh and delicious dishes. Based on your experience, had a fantastic time at the restaurant. The Chilean sea bass with miso sauce that you ordered sounds like a standout dish. The tenderness and flavor must have made it a delightful experience for my taste buds. The excellent clam chowder and Peruvian scallop platter also have lived up to my expectations. The restaurant also had a warm and tasty atmosphere, making it an enjoyable dining experience for my family. It's always good to feel comfortable and welcome while enjoying a delicious meal. King's Fish House in Mission Valley is a fantastic seafood restaurant that offers fresh and delicious dishes, attentive service, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

So my overall opinion is good with a few caveats/reservations. The food was good but not great, for the price. I guess I just expected more. I'll explain.. The location is great. The outside of the building, the landscaping, and outside seating were all great. Well manicured plants and bushes looked great. The inside was sort of a letdown though. Upon entering, we were told that we had to wait because they didn't have enough servers... that's odd. Then, the main dining room itself felt like a large room where they tried to stuff booths and tables in. The room had very tall ceilings which felt odd. I don't know how to describe it other than to say it was too big and really wasn't cozy. You could see into the kitchen, sort of, which is nice, but it didn't do much for the confused layout of this large dining area. I'll say this, I've been to other seafood restaurants and felt the whole vibe of the oceanic theme and everything felt right. This felt confused and loud. Anyway, moving on to the food.. I had the Clams Linguine. They described it as, "Farmed Manila clams, shallots, white wine, garlic, crushed peppers" at a price of 26.50. Now, I don't mind the price as much as I mind the small portion. Furthermore the clams were very small. I don't mind that they left them in the shell either, but it just wasn't a lot of food. It tasted good so thats a plus. I could have eaten twice that amount. The bread was acceptable, if not a little too tough on the crust part of it. Our server was very good though, probably the highlight of the meal. He was attentive and knowledgeable. He was helpful but not pesky. A fine balance to strike and he did it well. He kept our waters full and made sure we liked our food. The owner, if there was one, never showed face. A man that looked like he could be the owner dropped off a plate and never said a word to one of us. Shame, as this can make up for some things. Its nice to kniw when they care, he or she obviously didn't. Overall the experience was a mixed bag. The food was good but hardly enough. The atmosphere was loud (due to that confusingly large main dining room), and confusing. Service was good from the workers but the owner should take pride in his establishment but we never saw anyone. It's a forgettable experience where the food was good but not enough. I hope your experience is different, but if it isn't, I told you so :) I'll try another seafood restaurant before I return to this one.
