My friend and I were looking for a burger place while in Mission Bay, and Google brought us to Draft, and we were not disappointed. It was by far the best burger I have ever had, and the service was quick and we loved the environment. I sadly live in Ohio but I am definitely putting Draft on my visit list when I go back to Cali. I mean who doesn't love a burger by the beach.
I recommend the Draft if your local Belmont Park area food is great service is 5 star and the beer many options I went with Elysian spacedust whoooaaa
My boyfriend and I took our friends to Draft last Saturday for lunch...aka Brunch and the food was amazing! We had the Monte Cristo Waffle sandwich; Draft Omelette with grilled chicken, sun dried tomatoes, brie cheese and basil; Berry French Toast with blueberry cream cheese; Breakfast Mac N Cheese; Fried Chicken with gravy over Rosemary toast; and a White Russian Creme Brulee to finish it off! Wow! The flavors were off the hook!! Our server, Sharon, and the manager, Austin, were wonderful and service was great!
Place has great beer and food- view of ocean and boardwalk is wonderful and the inside is pretty cool. Staff is super friendly. We rented the place out for a work function and it was awesome!

Huge screens to watch the ball game, great service, and the whole west side is open to the Pacific Ocean. Can't ask for a better place to go to hang out with fellow Dallas Cowboys fans !
This is a nice location with beachfront view. Arrived around 2 pm. and was able to be seated right away outside right on the boardwalk. Unfortunately, after having plenty of time to take a look at the menu, there was no server to take our order. We spotted the hostess seating another party and had to ask her for someone to come take our order. This place is a little more pricey for food and beverage, so i had expected service to be quicker especially since it wasnt really that busy. Once we got a server, she was very attentive and got everything going right away. They had a good selection of draft beer. We got a half dozen of the Buffalo wings. It had a spicy kick with good flavor. It's not too hot. I look forward to coming back and having the full dining experience. Next time, I expect that our service will be more jolly on the spot.
This place is awesome! I'm not much of a Beer Drinker but the food was fabulous, and the customer service was excellent! There was a mess up with our order, a new runner went to the wrong table and the people at the table took our order! So it took us twice as long to get our food, but the atmosphere was nice (other than the weed smell that runs everything in California) the friendly staff and appetizers kept us busy. The view and people watching were fabulous. we will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
We went here to enjoy the Christmas setup and specials. Would recommend a reservation since even by 5ish the wait was over 45 minutes, but checking in with a reservation was very fast and easy. The decorations, holiday cocktails, and ambiance are all really fun, and the food was a hit. It is pretty pricey for the cocktails at nearly $20 each, though food prices were pretty average. The pretzelcuterie, Rudolph's replacement, and wagyu lasagna were great. We thought it was worth it for the experience and the great location - there's plenty to do nearby and it's right by the beach as well.
I like the food quality and portions here. Food is comparable to other high end breweries $27-$40 per person. The only con is if you are sitting in doors it’s quite loud especially when the games going. And if you’re sitting outside, it’s quite chilly and breezy on most days. So even on a sunny day I would recommend bringing a sweater especially when you’re not sitting in the sun on the patio.
I will be back and will always bring a sweater.
Great selection of beer, tasty food, attentive wait staff, plenty of TVs playing sports, and a prime location next to Mission Beach. What more can you ask for? We shared the wings app, and I had the Wagyu Patty Melt. Would recommend.
Came here for the Thanksgiving buffet and had the best meal of my life with my family. All the dishes were cooked really well and I loved the prime rib. I ate 4 thick slabs and I will probably be full until Christmas 🎄🎅
Really appreciated the effort in decorating and it really brought in the Christmas cheer.
Wow-who knew they served a rockin’ great brunch??! Tables inside or out on the boardwalk, big screens for all the games, fun music! So impressed with the atmosphere; our waitress was a character too! Can’t wait to go back!
Really enjoyed our lunch at Draft. The only thing that could have made it better was better weather- it's May Gray so the sun didn't come out until well after lunch. Enough different kinds of beers to please everyone in our group. I thought the Mac and cheese with BBQ pork was amazing, and my nephew enjoyed his loaded fries. Service was better than most places these days, so all around it was a great experience. Would definitely go back next time I'm in the area!
The pistachio crusted salmon sandwich was incredible, the fries that came with it were delicious as well. I tried a bite of my mother’s burger and it was decent but not the same quality as my sandwich. Overall, I would absolutely hit this place up again!
Great beers on tap! I’m a huge fan of Belgian beers and they have 20 oz. Duvel on tap! Needless to say it was a great start to the day. Had the Rachael, which is what they call the Reuben. Great pastrami on rye, but the fries were honestly my fave. Suuuper fresh and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside! Great views of the beach.
When I took my trip to San Diego Bosko and I stopped in at Draft South Mission. The food was great as well as the drinks. I didn’t take any pics of my food but take my word for it. The overall vibe was nice and great staff. And patio friendly for dogs. I would go back if ever swing through the neighborhood again.
Great bar right at Mission Beach with beach views, good beer and fantastic food. Their chicken cobb salad is amazing 🥗🥗. Also the Mike Hess Into the Sunset Blood Orange IPA 🍺 is really good.
I enjoyed dinner with the family at the Draft on Mission Beach. Watching the sunset with good food is the perfect place to be. It's pricey but tasty.

Unfortunately they were out of a few things with already a small menu but they made up with it in fast service and a friendly waitress.
Food was typical bar type food but I think its more about the location. More of an adult hangout appetizers and beers vibe.

The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our burgers 🍔. They also have a great selection of draft beers 🍻.

On the beach, by Belmont Park- that’s a good start. They let me keep my skates on and skate to my table. Prompt service. Basic limited menu besides good selection of beer. My roasted Brussels were yummy. Price in line with being on beach in SoCal.
I love this place!! Good food, great vibes, and always a superb sunset. I have been coming for years, however felt inclined to leave a review after my recent wonderful visit! Olivia served us at the bar & truly made our drinks with love. She was kind, friendly & the drinks she crafted were simply incredible!! 10/10.
