I had the mac-n-cheese with bacon, which was okay. The tapwine was decent. I'm sure the other food (which I'll eventually try) is great. Ambience is really great. Service is good too.
If you're into taxidermy this is your spot! Definitely giving hipster vibes in this place. Not always a bad thing-- but I was unaware I'd be staring down a stuffed lion, geese, and ducks my whole meal, lol. Food was solid, bit too pungent with certain herbs + spices tho imo. Over all, was a lovely evening:) oh, and the bathroom has great selfie mirrors ;)
I hadn’t been in 4 years but it’s every bit as good (actually better if that’s posible) than I remember. Tar tar, marrow, oysters, and cocktails. Joel, the head chef is awesome. Hostess, server and false idol server too.
Had an exceptional experience at this venue. The men you had a wide variety of options including non-traditional items like beef tartare and mussels. They had a wide variety of drink options and signature cocktails that were reasonably priced given the prime real estate location. We came here originally to visit the false idol tiki bar speakeasy that was attached, but decided to make a pit stop for some snacks while we waited for a time slot to open up there. I was pleasantly surprised with everything from the service, to the food and drinks.
We just stopped in for a drink, so I can not comment on the food. What a cool place, the atmosphere was perfect. Our group just kept saying "what a cool place". The drink selection was great, the beer was cold and the drinks were great. The staff was super nice too.
Stopped by for brunch on a Saturday. Sat at the bar so service was really quick. I love the design concept! It's very unique, kind of weird, but somehow all fits. The space is actually pretty small but the mirrors make it look bigger inside. The food was absolutely amazing! The bone marrow with the chili relish is my favorite dish here! I think this was the tastiest preparation of bone marrow I've ever had! The acidity worked perfectly with the butteriness of the marrow. Extensive draft list! The cocktails were also fantastic! Highly recommend! Not just for the food, but the ambience as well!
We stopped in for drinks at Craft & Commerce. The drinks are good, and the service is great. We only had one appetizer, the Oysters and Bone Marrow. It was good! There is also another hidden bar inside. Great place. On a sidenote, I believe they play their negative reviews over the speakers in the bathroom, which i found original and pretty hilarious. I recommend this place for drinks and appetizers. Enjoy!
A fantastic restaurant with beautiful interior design and decor and large areas of seating. Each space looks like a new area of a large explorers club like mansion, filled with books, ephemera and taxidermy art. It has an impressive array of animals through out.
The food is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend hitting their happy hour for some good eating and drinking at affordable prices.
While the drinks look and sound particularly good I didn’t think they were where they needed to be in terms of taste. Some were too alcohol forward and others barely felt a hint of it. They weren’t entirely balanced but still drinkable.
I would say clearly the bar program to visit is the hidden tiki bar False Idol through the front entrance to the side. But that deserves its own review!
Despite that it’s well worth visiting and eating there if you’re in the area. And for the locals they’re lucky to have many great spots in the area for options on a night out.
All around fun place with great service, quality and creative fare. Burger was excellent as were the wood fire carrots. I
Walked in on a Tuesday eve for a quick bite and a drink. I was able to sit at the bar. The atmosphere was great, and the place was buzzing. I had the carrot salad and the duck tacos. The salad was very good. Some carrots were a little too burnt for my likes but the other elements balanced each other well. The tacos were insanely good! It’s first time I got the bone marrow served with duck, but it was superb! Staff was friendly and quick at the bar. I’ll definitely go back when in San Diego.
Everything was delicious! Kinda dark inside to really appreciate the decor. My husband got the duck tacos and devoured them! Drinks were great! Really only thing was our waitress could’ve been around a little more. Took awhile for refills and the manager came over and asked if we needed anything, when we said we all asked refills he apologized and she came right back.
Amazing experience! Definitely coming back.

Amazing experience! We were running a little late and they bumped our reservation for us by 30 minutes to accommodate. Then as soon as we sat down our server asked us what our favorite liquors were and surprised us with custom crafted birthday shots/mini cocktails(idk they were delicious though!) The food was outstanding from the apps, the entrees, to the dessert! Cocktails and wine were on point and I don't think you'll find a restaurant with the same Amazing decor style! Ambiance. For.
