We've always had good meals and good service here. Sometimes they have limited holiday drinks and food, so it can be fun to try them - their ghost pepper Halloween cocktail was to die for. I can't speak for the inside ambiance but the outside seating is pretty airy and comfortable.
Initial review (June 2023). Came here for dinner with my wife around 17:30. The place looked partly full and were seated right away. We ordered a drink and burger each. The signature fries that come with the burger were crispy but nothing special. The burger I ordered was the Double Smash, which was really delicious. I would put it in my top 3 burgers, and definitely order it again. The service lacked, rarely seeing our server. The place was lively, had TVs all over, but was somewhat loud to hold a conversation. There was different types of seating: indoor, patio, bar-height, and regular-height. I would come back again for the burger and try other food.
Second review (October 2023). Came back for dinner with my wife around 7. It was busy but we were still able to be seated; this time on the patio. Our drink order was taken shortly after we got a moment to look at the drink menu. Our food order was then taken after we got our drinks. We ordered Fish and Chips, and the "Bison" burger (Cooked to medium). The "Bison" burger does not have any bison in it, so it can be deceiving to some who expect at bison flavor in the patty. The burger itself is tasty and spicy because of the hot pepper in it. The Fish and Chips were good. The fish was moist and flaky, but it needed some salt. It can go unnoticed if you use the chipotle tartar sauce it come with. Food this time was not as great. Service was a little better this time around though.
Solid enough, empty at 2:30 but servers seemed a bit untrained/forgetful. Can imagine things being very slow during rush hour. Their truffle fries were crunchy but not special compared to regular fries. The person who ordered the bone marrow burger was raving and highly recommended it. Others like the Brussel sprouts but to me they weren't bitter enough and had basically sweet n sour sauce on them. Ahi salad fish was fine, too much sauce I should have asked for it on the side.
Great atmosphere, great staff! Fun experience and they play the games: basketball, football, baseball, etc. The food was good but not great. The spinach artichoke dip was delicious though! I learned a lot about Whiskey 🥃 🤩🤣 Definitely worth the experience. And tons of room for larger parties and groups.
Service here is great and their beer selection is really nice. The food is a bit overpriced but the burgers are overall delicious. I recommend trying the fried cauliflower!
Great spot to hang out with friends! Good collection of drafts- recommend to swing by during a UTC trip. Generous outdoor space, overall food quality is more than decent.
Eureka! at the UTC Westfield mall is a decent eatery with an extensive bar. They’re probably best visited when you’re hankering for a burger, as they’ve got quite a few and they seem pretty tasty. Since the bar has such a huge beer selection, it’s a decent spot to meet friends for drinks. A range of pretty good salads adds to this place’s likeability—my favorites are the tuna and steak salads. The charcoal lemonade is all right, but not super lemonade-y—the charcoal kind of muffles the lemonade a bit.
The service is all right, but not anything to write home about. I had an iffy experience there recently when I was given a fairly dirty napkin with my silverware at the beginning of the meal. It was weird to be given a clearly stained napkin. I’ve actually not experienced this in a restaurant as far as I can recall. They were nice enough to give me a brand new, clean napkin, but that kind of left a bad impression.
Our waitress totally forgot about us throughout the meal, I just walked up to her instead because she didn’t look our way after waving at her for a while. Fish and chips were good, sauce was good too, ask for more beforehand. Mac and cheese balls were good too
There was a bit of a wait to be served at the bar but we were there on a Saturday night and it's a busy location at the mall. The burgers were delicious, cooked perfectly and they have a grear selection of beer on tap!
Had a really great experience at Eureka! We enjoyed everything we ordered and will certainly be back to try some of the items we didn't get on this visit.
I loved this place. The food was great and staff were very polite and helpful. Definitely recommend you to try, specially I loved the 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone Marrow Burger it comes with Fries or Coleslaw. Also we tried Bourbon Barrel Cake which was really delicious.
My fig burger was absolutely perfect. The truffle fries were great. My drink was delicious! I'm only giving 3 stars for food because my friends chicken was overcooked to the point of ridiculousness. The largest parts were....meh at best. the smaller were crispy to the point of inedible. Really is a shame. Like I said, my burger (asked for medium rare) was cooked exactly how I requested and delicious. If i was rating only on my plate, I'd give all 5 stars
Eureka!, the state motto of California! "Eureka" is a Greek word meaning "I have found it" - the famed Greek mathematician Archimedes is said to have exclaimed "Eureka!" when he finally discovered a method for determining the purity of gold. And yes, I have found my gold in Eureka.
This is my 3rd time visiting this restaurant. My friend and I ordered blackened fish Taco, Brussel sprouts, and buffalo chicken wings. See attached pictures.
The blackened fish taco is an A+. If you are a taco fanatic, you'll know what I am talking about here. It is beer-battered white fish with furikake and tartar source. Furikake is a dry Japanese seasoning. It typically consists of a mixture of dried fish, sesame seeds, chopped seaweed, sugar, and salt. We ordered baby broccolini as our side dish. It was a smart move. The veggies complimented well with the taco.
I highly recommend you try out the crispy glazed brussel sprouts. Many people do not like brussel sprouts and I can see why. But this is so well made, you will fall in love with brussel sprouts after trying it out. The chef is very creative, they used the chimichurri source whose dominant flavors are parsley and garlic. Glazed with chopped almonds. Clever! Another Five star and plus.
Modern industrial interior with cool takes on the American staple - burgers. The location in UTC is good, far enough away from the rest of the rest of the dining plaza that it doesn't get too crowded, but not in a random spot that is difficult to find. Service is alright, a little slow but the good came out in good time. Non alcoholic drinks are passable. The menu is focused on burgers and sides with some salad and non beef options. A cool spot if you're looking for unique burgers without the Shake Shack crowd.
Fancy taco location. They are delicious and expensive. I really enjoyed the crispy cheese added with some of the tacos. The tacos have sauces beyond salsa which makes the taste exotic.
The server wasn't as attentive as we'd expect, but she might have been thinly stretched over the order patio which was full.
Very nice service, very nice atmosphere. But I have to say the foods are really so-so. We really expected their spicy specialties are hot enough but they don’t taste spicy at all. It’s a little disappointed. The only thing we loved is the smoky whiskey drink, but the drink’s price is expensive too. I will recommend people to come here for work event or happy hour, but not for date or a real good quality food dinner.
Excellent food and a unique twist on an old fashioned. I had the bone marrow burger which was fantastic and my friends had the cowboy and everybody really enjoyed it. Reason for the four stars is the wait staff was really slow given the customer to server ratio.
Eureka! has achieved redemption. I tried the Eureka! American, Baja Fish Tacos, and the Wings. The Eureka! American had excellent taste and texture. It still maintained the juiciness inside and was packed with flavor. The fries were well seasoned and cooked to a crisp. The Baja Fish Tacos were also tasty. First bite I took, was bursts with great taste. The fish itself was spot on. It had crispy golden brown coating and good texture. Finally, the wings were delicious. The had juicy meat and seasoned very well. However, it needs more sauce. The outer coating needed that marinade glaze to help the chicken shine. Other than those things good effort. I can’t wait to try out other items.
Excellent food and very friendly service. The place is also very kid-friendly with a menu ranging from the normal chicken strips to burgers, sandwiches, and even kid's BBQ ribs and salmon. My steak was cooked perfectly as well as my wife's salmon. Very nice atmosphere with ample outdoor seating. Definitely returning.
