We were there for lunch and Taco Tuesday while on a trolley tour. Love the variety of all the tacos, the margaritas were great. Great location in Old Town. Excellent service & food.

A bit excluded from the main traffic in Old Town, but it's a cute, intimate spot. Dark, but there's a fire pit that gives off a nice glow. Mariachi entertainment is fun, not so loud you can't hear who you're with. The margaritas are huge, as usual in Old Town. And finally, the food- also pretty good!

The customer service is pretty good. I enjoyed the live music and their food is so delicious. The portions are not too large, which is nice. The only downside is that I was cold and they couldn't get the outdoor heater to work; they ended up lighting the fire pit. I couldn't feel the warmth from it, but it was still nice that they tried. They also do not have plastic utensils and they should improve the lighting.

Food was great! Drinks were even better! The tacos were very tasteful. It was a slow day so service was pretty good. I don't know how it could be when its busy with tourists. I added photos of my drink I had, which was a small!! Before with the small, medium, large drink sizes! The medium is almost for 2 people! It's a lot of alcohol!

Such a nice environment with good Mexican food. Live music outside, reasonable prices ($25 per person), very nice staff and really good food. Try their huge margaritas. Hand made fresh tortillas come with your meal.

El Patio De Old town 2611 San Diego Avenue, San Diego, CA I had dinner at this well situated restaurant in the Old San Diego Plaza court yard and I have to be honest about my review. The food is not bad at all, very tasty and the fajitas come on a sizzling iron cast, comal (sizzling hot plate) so watch your fingers. Don't you dare order the Margaritas, they just don't have that sweet tasty flavor, other than lots of Sauza Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila (please don't drink & drive). If you must have dinner here at night please bring your own table candle light or a flash light at least so you can make the scenery a little romantic if you are there on a date. They do have some corner lamps, but they do a poor job in lighting the area. The music is fantastic, they have this Mariachi Mexican Folklore singer and he has a sensational voice and good taste of Karaoke classical melodies. The lady's who are constantly on the moved serving, do a well deserving job in making sure you have everything you need to have a fantastic experience. And now a recommendation to the owner. Please placed round glass candle lights on the tables and dress up the restaurant court yard with small light strings. Also see about retraining the the drink mixologist (Bar Tender). Have a graceful host at the front counter 24/7 to greet your arriving customers, this one is a must if anything. On weekends see about having a real Mariachi band, but make darn sure you keep the Karaoke Folklore Singer. The few hours I spend there enjoying, or at least trying to in the dark was A+. I will see about stopping by and giving it a second look in a few months and see if anything has change, till then I will write up an update. Hope this helps.

A little hard to find as it's just off the street a bit, but don't give up. Had the Molcajete Trio (kind of like fajitas but better) and they were fun and fantastic!! Great food and decent prices for authentic Mexican.

Cozy ambiance, very nice patio, and the food was great. Not too expensive either. The live entertainment had talent. Touristy but would definitely come back.

My second favorite restaurant in old town. Food is very good and the location is a bit more out of the way compared to some of the larger restaurants.

Only place in old town with real authentic Mexican food. Giant Margaritas are not to be missed... Their Brunch is the best deal in town
