The Breakfast Republic has never let me down. I love the Breakfast Sammie. The sandwich comes with Egg, Tomato, and Jurassic Bacon. It is delicious! The French Toast would be my second favorite meal. The Toast is fluffy with a good texture. Just add a little syrup and Jurassic Bacon and we are good to go. I've been to several locations and they stay very consistent with food, atmosphere, and service. 10 out of 10, I recommend!!
High quality food, good atmosphere and great service! Perfect place for breakfast and brunch.
My husband ordered the shrimp frittata, which was delicious and very well seasoned. I had an avocado toast and I have to say that was one of the best I've ever had. Everything was delicious and well served.
I have to mention that their special kombucha was terrific.
Highly recommend the place if you are visiting SD
One of the best breakfast spot at San Diego, you would get various options to choose from and prices are also very readonable, we ordered avocado toast, Turkey Meatloaf Hash and Protein lover scramble along with cappuccino ..
Super yummy breakfast spot in San Diego! Breakfast Republic is one of my boyfriend’s fav spots to get breakfy in SD. We recently went on vacation to SD so had to take me. The top highlight for me of this place was their homemade hot sauce!! It is insane good. I put it on all of my food during breakfast. I got the Cali style eggs Benny and it was delicious! He got the burrito and said it was a solid 10/10. The potatoes were cooked to perfection and the morning cocktails were perfect. I loved this place and def recommend for a cute, local breakfast spot in SD! And it’s super close to the beach and close to lots of shopping in the strip!! Great area and location.
Well rounded menu, quick friendly service and a super fun ambiance! GET A BLOODY MARY and check out their cute and witty merch. We would go back!
Breakfast Republic is a breakfast spot that I recently visited and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The food came out quickly, was delicious and most importantly, it was quite filling.
Their coffee selection is quite unique, and I would definitely recommend trying the Mexican blend that is flavored with cinnamon and raw cane sugar. It was a one-of-a-kind experience and I found myself wanting more.
It is worth noting that there was a bit of a wait when I arrived, so if you're planning to go, I would recommend booking ahead of time. However, if you're willing to wait, it's definitely possible to get a seat without a reservation.
Overall, Breakfast Republic is a great spot for breakfast and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a unique breakfast experience. The food is great, the coffee is one-of-a-kind, and the wait is worth it.

Super yummy breakfast chain option. Can kind of have your pick on the vibe you’d like based on which location you choose. Personally at this location service wasn’t as up to par as other locations, but the food was still tasty. When we ordered our lattes they were out of regular milk and asked if we’d like to substitute with a different milk instead.. we obliged and went with almond milk as a substitute. What they didn’t tell us was that there would be an upcharge for the different milk even though it wasn’t OUR fault that THEY were out of regular milk? Just seemed weird but we didn’t notice until after we paid and walked out and it wasn’t worth it to go back in. Again just added to the fact that service wasn’t that great at this location, but we have had really great service at other locations! Nice thing about this place though is you’re within walking distance to the beach- so just depends what you’d like best 🙂 also while they still have the tres leche cake pancake- get it! Super yummy (had at the other location)
Great atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly service. Everyone in my group loved their food. All full and happy on the way out. Kitchen and dining area had a neat setup. Will definitely return! Jurassic Pork bacon was excellent and worth the upgrade.
I ordered the chilaquiles with asada and my husband ordered the steak and eggs with a side of Jurassic pork. Both meals were delicious and very filling. The plating and presentation looked beautiful as well. To drink, we ordered micheladas.
I really wanted to give all 5 stars because a majority of the staff was amazing and our waitress was phenomenal, the food was great. But one thing bothered me was patrons being allowed to use the handicap elevator who were not disabled, one just because she was on roller skates. I would hope this issue gets addressed.
