The best pizza I have yet to have, from Chicago pizza to Memphis pizza as far as Texas or North Carolina. I thinking the closest one to me would be St Louis, Mo. this is just my opinion.
I’ve been to other CPK’s in the US and Mexico but nothing like this one. Food was great, ordered the Sicilian pizza and couldn’t be any better. Drinks were on point. The waiters, the bartender even the manager, all were friendly and nice, so bad I can’t remember their names(But I went there on July, 31st 2018) thanks guys for the good time, for helping a lost lonely traveler! Hope I can go back soon!
This is our go to place and we love our bartender Garth! He is the only reason we go, since we moved to San Diego in 2003. He is great and love the conversation, he is the best and the food is good. Don’t ever let Garth go!!!!
Had the Sonoma chicken flatbread it was good. Had the free bday cake Red Velvet it was worth every bite!!!.
I was there with two others and we all loved our entree’s. Denise was our server and she was and absolute delight. Maria(?) the Manager popped by to do a qc which is always appreciated.

First time there. I ordered a pizza, pepperoni, salami, & sausage. Avocado egg rolls, all were very good. Staff was friendly.

Quick lunch
For kids the menu is quite cheap and good size. It’s located in the middle of the mall so good to coordinate a family gathering when everyone wants to go to different stores.
I had two soups in a bowl that had great flavors. A tomatoe bisque and a smashed pea and Barley. A real red and green ying and yang serving. Tasty flavored sweet Mexican street corn seasonal side was excellent. Server was efficient and friendly, thanks Paris.
We actually had pasta dishes which were very good. We were seated quickly, the server was attentive, and our food was brought out quickly and hot. No need for take home containers on this visit because our plates were clean.
Stooped in for a quick lunch in between shopping. Ordered a pizza and salad. Good service, got excatally what I ordered. Will be back next time I'm in San Diego
Ever since my old DSLR (almost 10 years!) decided it was time to retire, I have been on a hunt for a more compact mirrorless camera I can take around whenever we eat out or when we go on vacation. The Sony a6300 had my eye and I was one Amazon click away from it being at my front door. I took a took a complete 180 and eventually settled on the Olympus OM-D E-M5. California Pizza Kitchen was the first outing I got to use my new toy and I hope to learn my way around the new controls and features soon. One things for sure. Carrying around something half the size is something I’m going to enjoy.
This is a great place to stop by and satisfy your craving with a quick meal. The pizzas are of plentiful varieties though most are without tomato sauce. Not for everyone. I would recommend one of their many excellent sandwiches. The California Club is sublime! There are also a few pasta dishes to choose from. The Lemon Caper Chicken is out of this world. I could not believe how perfect it was. Service can vary at times. During the busy lunch and dinner hours it can take 10 - 20 minutes for the food to arrive. For quickest service sit at the bar. The floor area is kept clean as well as the restrooms. This is currently the number 1 choice when dinning at the Fashion Valley Mall conveniently located across the AMC 18 movie theatre. 9/10
Overall pretty good. Ceaser salad was great. Crutons were bomb. Kinda strange every thing but our pizza was served with spoons. WTF 6 out of 10.

I recently visited California Pizza Kitchen and had a delightful experience. The food was simply delicious! Now, let me tell you about the club sandwich. It was a true standout! Packed with generous layers of savory ingredients, the combination of flavors was outstanding. The bacon added a delightful smoky taste, complementing the other ingredients perfectly. It was a definite highlight of our meal.
The shrimp scampi was another winner. The shrimp were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, and the scampi sauce had a wonderful blend of garlic and butter flavors. It was a delightful dish that left us wanting more.
To top it all off, we indulged in the Birthday Sunday, and it was the perfect sweet treat. The combination of ice cream, toppings, and sauce created a delightful explosion of flavors. It was a fantastic way to celebrate a special occasion.
Overall, our experience at California Pizza Kitchen was fantastic. The food was undeniably delicious, and each dish we tried left us impressed. This is one of our favorite places to eat, for appetizers we had the cauliflower which was amazing but definitely not for someone that cannot handle spicy, also the dumplings. Both were delicious. My husband had the garlic fettuccine with chicken and shrimp, he said it was really good. I had the salmon well-done with the pan-seared vegetables. The salmon was delicious but I did not care for the veggies at all. As for pizza we have had so many and all of them are amazing. The place is very clean inside and everyone that works here are wonderful. Drinks are great too.
I love coming here for the Mac n cheese. I don’t come here often but when I do it’s always a fun time with friends! They have great alcoholic beverages and tasty food. The one thing that I’ve noticed with this location in particular is that it always seems dark and warm inside. I’m sure it’s just because of the kitchen. I also feel like they have there waiters waiting on way too many tables at a time but regardless of how many tables they do a pretty good job at making sure you are taken care of!!
Haven't eaten CPK in years, glad I decided to try it because I was impressed with how delicious the pizza is! Service was top notch as well, got seated right away and took my order as soon as I was ready. Will definitely be coming back to try more items on the menu.

My wife and I go here every week. It’s not nearly as expensive as you may think! The food to begin with is reasonably priced and tastes great. If sign up for their app, you get a free appetizer and every $75 spent gets you $5 in credit to use on your next meal. You also get incentives like during Christmas you can buy $100 in gift cards and get up to $30 in extra gift cards included . If it’s not Christmas, then you can get gift cards from Costco at $79.99 for $100 worth of gift cards.
Back to the food, their Chicken Tequila fettuccine is pretty good BUT! If you have them add some bacon to it! OMG, it transforms the whole taste and makes it possibly my most favorite pasta dish ever. I also love their Cedar Plank Salmon. I drizzle lime over the fish and vegetables. I am very surprised that the Salmon dinner only has about 700 calories, you’d never know. My wife likes the BBQ Chicken Salad. As of this review, if you go during happy hour 3-5pm, they have half priced appetizers and other food/ drink specials. Their deserts are good too. They have a seasonal Strawberry Shortcake w/ice cream desert that is definitely enough for two and out of this world.
I would highly recommend this place to friends and family. If you combine gift cards, their app benefits, and happy hour specials, you actually save a sizable amount of money……making this place very affordable with great food!

I'm sorry I forgot the first waiter/bartender's name but he & Steve were both very kind, quick servers and despite being busy/short staffed made sure to come check on our table.
I'm so happy that the original Italian chopped salad is back. It's been a go to for 20 some years for my family!
Also love the lunch special, where you can get a personal pizza and salad, as well as other combinations.
I'll be back after the holiday craze.

I'm giving 4 stars because I got sick after eating there, I think the chicken in the egg rolls was a little undercooked
The things it has going against it are that it's part of a chain and chains are not always consistent. But that said, the dish that I had with the tequila chicken fettuccine was amazing. It was different. It was light and I really enjoyed the meal. I was with two friends and we were seated right away so I had no complaints
California Pizza Kitchen helped raise funds & awareness for the animals rescued by Lions Tigers and Bears & volunteers are very thankful. The BBQ chicken pizza is awesome & addictive! Service / employees are really cool. And I've ordered 4 pizzas in 2 days, adding pineapple. So good! It's downstairs under the movie theater in Fashion Valley Mall.

We went on a Saturday around 7/8pm, he wait was 20 min or less. Our waiter was Diana. Very sweet and cordial. She took our drink order and then the food. Brought us complimentary bread.
The food arrived within 15/30 min.
My husband and I got the Mexican Street Corn, not disappointed. The feta cheese actually gave it a good taste.
For entree we shared The Chicken Tequila Fettuccine, so full of flavor but not overpowering, chicken tender and the sauce brought it all together.
We also got the California Club pizza a d added pepperoni, so fresh, crispy and airy. Definitely recommend. Family friendly.
We had lunch here and it was packed when we arrived, but they sat us down in less than 15 minutes. The pizzas are so tasty, salads are good as well.

Had dinner with some family 3/16/22 our waitress was Lilley & she was so wonderful, very kind & on point. I don’t drink and they have this yummy amazing mocktail, definitely order it ! We shared the carne asada pizza and the shrimp scampi pie both were delicious and I was surprised by the lil heat that the shrimp scampi pie had (not crazy, but just the right amount of spice.) we shared appetizers, the California guacamole eggs rolls we’re a definite hit 10/10! We also shared the shrimp dumplings and those we’re pretty yummy too! Would order these items all over again , my husband loved his Moscow mule and the rest of the table loved their drinks as well. This was my first time ever eating here and I would definitely come back again. Fun dinner , good company and delicious food. To top it off the butter cake dessert was so buttery and yummy. Definitely try out CPK if you’ve never been. We will be returning sooner than later.
First time being back at CPK in a long time. Still pretty good. Tried the Mexican street corn for the first time and loved it! Also ordered the old stand by, the California Club pizza. The server finished us to try it with the new cauliflower crust. I was not thrilled by it. Seemed to alternate between too hard or too chewy. I've had better from cook last home ones.
The service was very friendly. The pizza was tasty. Good kids meal options. Not sure why we had to wait for a table while there were plenty of empty tables in and outside.
Visit this place and prices are reasonable and good quality food. Buffalo coliflower are great. And avocado rolls are the best. I had a Cedar plank salmon. Perfect5 star for this place
Great CPK location. Hostess was very nice. Our server (Claudia) was so kind and helpful.To eat we had the spicy buffalo cauliflower appetizer, the tomato basil pizza and chicken picatta which were all delicious. Drinks were good too. Dessert is a must have (will change your life) lol…
