I was on vacation in San Diego back in 6/25/19 with a cousin. She introduced me to this pretty cool joint we had Lola margarita cocktails 🍸 and Quesadilla Oaxaca with chicken & Spicy smoked fish tacos. Soooo delicious!! 😋 yummy!! 🤤 We came two evenings just for the the cocktails and food. Simply delightful 🤩

We visited Lola for a quick lunch, and tried a few different tacos with a shared mezcal margarita. The drink was delicious and well made with fresh lime juice, and all the tacos had great flavour and high quality of meat. Tacos are roughly $1 more per taco than other places, but well worth it.

Amazing food and quality for an affordable price. This place beats puesto by far in my opinion with the fresh ingredients and the amazing flavor combinations at a fraction of the price. My favorites were the steak and pork belly tacos, the crunch from the crispy onions on the steak tacos were perfect. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the Baja fish tacos. Their lemonade is also super refreshing and not too sweet! We went with our two dogs on a Sunday night and had no problem finding outdoor seating right away. It wasn't crowded at all and we loved that since our dogs were able to relax. It is counter order only, but they allow you to put your card down if you might want to order more. This was kinda counterintuitive because you have to go back in like to pay again, so next time we'll just make sure to order everything and pay one time in the beginning.

Lola 55 is a great taco place in San Diego. Their tacos are inventive and a mix of great flavors. The fish tacos are a must. Service is quick, with food coming out within 10 minutes of ordering. The atmosphere is similarly nice, with tall ceilings in a light-filled space.

I read Lola 55 had very unique non-traditional tacos. This is a great place to take a bunch of people. Everyone can order whatever they want or share orders. Some of the tacos are a little spicy (e.g. the Cauliflower taco). I would recommend the fish taco and elote if you want non-spicy. Two tacos and an elote is a good size meal for on person. A third taco might be a little too much. But, why not give it a try as every taco taste so different.

Service was great and friendly I ordered the Baja fish taco and the steak taco my son ordered the steak taco and chicken quesadillas. The steak taco was so good! Baja was pretty good as well. my son did not like the quesadillas. Margarita was delicious and we caught happy hour! We are out of towners and would come back to this place again!

Great tacos and the bartenders are suuuuper friendly. The tacos are small but thats more opportunity to order more! I got the fish, rainbow cauliflower, and squahsroom tacos & elote. I'd recommend the squa-shroom & the cauliflower. The mushrooms and fish were heavily breaded &deep fried, but still very tasty.

Stopped in for a quick snack. Didn't realize you had to place your order before you sit down (like a fast food spot) as it was a nice looking place with a small but cool bar. The bartender was very friendly and informed us of how to order and gave us drink recommendations. We only got 2 tacos and a cocktail but the Smoked Carnitas was by far, our favorite item! Next time we're trying the fish taco and the squa-shroom!
