I love this place! I've tried others but nothing like my favorite Indian place, Urban India. :)) great customer service, very affordable, food is always warm, fresh and on point! Who knows better than me who used to work and walked the back clean kitchen daily ;)

We were seated right away and our food was out quickly! Yummy Naan bread and the Chicken Korma is fantastic!
Beautiful restaurant in a picturesque part of San Diego. I got lucky because I was between crowds. The kitchen made a couple of half orders of entrees so I could try a lot of their specialties. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out!

I asked for Zero spice in my food (Butter Chicken), and it was HOT. My friend's dad ordered mild spice because he loves Indian food, and his head was dripping in sweat...he literally had to wipe his head and face with a napkin multiple times. The taste of the food was absolutely delicious, though! I do recommend.
I would sell my ovary to try the chicken korma again for the first time it was bomb I ordered the medium spicy one and EASILY I give it 10/10. Tikki masala fries were so good it should be illegal to supply fries that tasty GET THE GARLIC NAAN YOU'LL LOVE IT. Service was good, quick and to the point, love that.

Pretty good. :) Not the best Indian food, but still flavorful and hit the spot in a pinch. A bit pricey for the quality. Service was friendly and it wasn’t crowded. I sat on the patio and enjoyed the people watching.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! We ended up eating there three times on our four day vacation. Perfect spice! Perfect chicken curry. The shrimp dish my husband had was fantastic and the naan yummy!

Really enjoyed the food and laid back vibe at Urban India. The Coconut Curry and Butter Chicken were both feasts for the senses. We also enjoyed the chili cheese and garlic naans.
Urban India has THE BEST food!! Oh my goodness! Their Naan Bread is perfect! Not too thick, perfectly crispy and fluffy in just the right spots making it melt in your mouth! We ordered the eggplant dish Baingan Bharta (vegan which I love!) with the meal and it was the perfect amount of food! Lots of fluffy basmati rice with lentil Dahl which had the perfect amount of spicy.
Our server, Vicky - (fresh from India!) was so lovely and sweet and professional! He was attentive and thoughtful. This restaurant is so worth the visit! Don’t miss out!

Stopped by for some drinks and apps….wow what an experience!! Service was attentive and friendly. Overall atmosphere was nice and it wasn’t crowded like other restaurants in the area. Food and drinks were delicious!!
I ordered the chicken tikka masala and the Gulab jamun and it was pretty good.
Anytime, I eat Indian food here in the states I try to remember that it will never match what I had when I was in India, but I felt like that chicken tikka masala was a little bland and lacked flavor.
The Gulab jamun was also pretty good but a little dry!
Goat curry is my favorite Indian dish. Unlike most Indian restaurants that add too much masala this goat curry preparation was like home cooked goat curry. The meat was cooked to perfection.

Had a very good meal for 3. We all enjoyed it. Staff very nice and welcoming. Visited plenty of Indian restaurants at home (UK) and this one stacks up well. Would recommend.
The food was delicious 10/10, the service was great , and the food was sooo good. I would sell my left kidney to eat this food again. It was surprisingly not very expensive for it being in downtown, its priced fairly. I will definitely come back here.
