Stayed at the Hard Rock and had to try this place for breakfast. My friend and I love to go 50/50 to enjoy a variety so we tried the burrito and carne asada eggs benedict. They were both heavenly but if we had to pick one it would have been the burrito. It was worth every penny!
Good ambiance. Great music. Positive vibrations. Lovely food. Lively service. They made eggs exactly the way I wanted. Fruit was fresh. There was no waiting when we went but the place was very much happening.
Came here for breakfast when staying at the Hard Rock. Even though the restaurant is very big, we had to wait a while for a table as they were short staffed so could not use every section of the restaurant which is a pity. I had a bagel breakfast with a side of bacon, and really enjoyed it ! The orange juice is delicious as well. A bit pricey, but a really great looking place and tasty breakfast.
Good food, great service, expensive though. Staying at the Hard Rock this is obviously a very convenient option but not the only one. I have had breakfast and dinner there and both times, service was prompt and courteous - even funny. The coffee is good and I am picky about coffee. Food is very good diner food and I have to say one of the few places I have ever been to that actually cooked the burger as I ordered it. The Mary Jane Martini is a nice take on a martini and they use my favorite vodka - Bong! Pot Brownie - well if you don't like brownies, don't order it. It is a very good brownie served warm with vanilla ice cream - definitely sweet and chocolatey!
Maryjane’s is the cafe style restaurant inside the Hard Rock hotel in San Diego and while I realize that we can’t expect much from that type of place, usually the Hard Rock name provides a bit more quality. We went on an afternoon after a Padres game and it was almost completely empty. While we were seated promptly it took close to 15 minutes for anyone to come and take our order. We just had deserts and these were lower quality than what you would find at a chilis. Freezer burned taste and not worth the calories.
Mary Janes is part of the Hard Rock and the decor is what you’d expect. Very nicely done inside. The server was very sweet and always checked on us. Even gave me a cup of coffee to go. The oatmeal was creamy and delicious. The fruit is fresh and the yogurt was on point. I really enjoyed the food and I’m sure you will too.
Great place. It was jammed packed with the convention in town. Smaller menu higher priced. Team is a tad overwhelmed. We will have to try it during a week day. Lots of food and taste Great. Kid Friendly and out side seating. Limited parking. Recommended for a fast lunch or dinner.
I loved the avocado toast here with micro greens and a bowl of fruits. It's healthy way to start the morning.
Food was fresh and very good quality. Last but not least i liked the service of Spanish guy who was so caring and friendly.
Food was delicious. I had the burger and a michelada but did not like the Miche mix to be honest, wifey had espresso type hard drink. Service was great though, my hat's off to Kim!! I recommend 👍
I was staying at HardRock hotel and went there for breakfast yesterday morning. The positive : very delicious food. Negative: staff was being trained and they were corrected pretty loudly so I always was “part of the conversation”.
Having said that, I give 5 stars for the food and the ambiance. I was having breakfast at the bar. Good coffee. Everyone was friendly. I had an avocado toast. I recommend it.

Clean and attentive service. Food was good and like that breakfast is served all day. Do wish the bottomless mimosas were available weekdays as well. This place has great breakfast options, other items are a bit limited.
The burger was yummy but the onion rings were delicious. The $9.00 shake was good, yes, $9.00. Won't order the $5. 00 coke again.
Comfortable atmosphere. Service is great. Courteous and friendly staff. Usually busy but not over crowded. A full coffee pot delivered to table. A block from the trolley. About three blocks from Petco Park.
Good breakfast food. We ordered pancakes which were huge and very well made. Omelette was cooked to specification and sausage was excellent.
I've heard good things about Maryjane's and stopped in on a Tuesday evening. Ordered the club sandwich with fries, and it was delicious. There is plenty of meat and generous portions. I loved the skinny shoestring fries. The menu has many good choices. I plan to come back to try breakfast. Definitely recommend. Located street level of hard rock hotel.
Cute place, reminded me of an old diner. I ordered the BALT and tomato basil soup and even though the toast was over-cooked, it was still delicious! We also ordered the Manmosas (loved the twist on the name) and they were dangerously delicious! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a bright atmosphere! It also looks like the host live music there as well!
Staying at the Hard Rock got hungry late night place was like a ghost town but still open . I had a Burger with the parmesan fries and some wings. The next morning it was pretty big crowd for breakfast.
Had an awesome breakfast during Comic Con. Had to look for a server for a refill on my water and it *seemed* like we waited a while for our food, but the food all came out hot and exactly as we ordered it. The French toast was the perfect serving size and the applewood smoked bacon was delish!
