Enjoyed the Carved Lamb and beef Kabob with Tabouli and kale/quinoa sides. The boxes are great too!! Had carved chicken with saffron rice, pickled onions and feta cheese
Had several different menu selections and food was fresh and plenty of it! Had steak kabob, saffron rice, spicy humus and pita - all very good.
Well first off it's spelled Kebab not Kabob! The food is fresh an delicious we discovered this place from my buddy and we've been frequently eating here ever since!
My favorite item was actually the Doner Box ā which was kind of an afterthought to my order. I mostly wanted it for the photo to see it all mixed together in one box but for some reason I really liked it. I think I liked it so much because the sauce is put on for you and I really love the yogurt based sauce (and can you see all of those lovely herbs in there?). This box had saffron rice and lamb, with the fixing for a doner kebab, but without the flatbread. It comes PACKED with meat (on the top and on the bottom, with rice in the middle), lots of sauce, tomatoes, onions and cucumbers.
The Kebab Shop was a frequent lunch stop at my office for a while. The casual fast food eatery serves generous portions and is a nice change from the typical burgers and sandwiches fast food offerings. One of their most popular items, the doner kebabs, which resemble burritos, are huge and filling. They are also quick and portable, making them a great lunch choice. When I found out that they opened a location in Mira Mesa awhile back, I really wanted to visit and take the FH. But it remained on my to-do list and I never got around to it. Recently, we were invited to go check out the Kebab Shop in Mira Mesa, so I finally got a chance to take FH there for dinner. Since Iāve already had the doner kebabs, I decided to order the lamb plate . It comes with a hot dish (choice of golden fries, saffron rice, or falafels) and one salad (choice of bebe caprese, cucumber dill, Algerian eggplant, Hummus, Tabouli, Minted Orzo
Love this place, and this location in particular. The staff here goes hard, and it shows in the quality of the food and service. CONSISTENTLY super delicious. This place seriously has no bad days. Thank you for blessing my dinners for the last few years now. I owed you guys this good review, it was deserved
Yea, these guys made my lunch, I was in seventh heaven when my lunch was brought to me and I tried it!

Great food and a lot of it for a good price. We got the kebab plate with carved chicken, rice, and greek salad ($12.50 I think) and a side of falafel for $5.00. We only ate about 2/3 of the chicken, rice and falafel (between 2 of us) and still have 1/3 left plus the whole salad. Lunch tomorrow- yummy! The photo shows about 1/3 of the food that came with the order.
Bernie was a star, ensuring me and my family that we were going to be well taken care of. His positive energy and eager willingness to explain to us the menu was a reflection of his work ethic and overall attitude to serving us. Itās the people that make up the warm atmosphere! 5 stars for Bernie!

We got the 2 box 2 sides limited deal they have. Listed below are the individual food items worth mentioning
Saffron rice which was lightly fragant and savory; perfect as a base.
Fries was what my buddy got instead (which u should eat soon or it will get soggy because of the sauces!).
Falafel had a nice crunch on the outside and well seasoned soft inside
Spicy Cilantro sauce is a must!! It does have a bit of heat, but has the most flavor and amps the box combo flavor significantly.
Grilled chicken as the kebab choice is made-to-order (or I think it is since I've had to wait each time). If you have extra few minutes, I think it's worth the wait for the extra flavor the grill provides. Chicken wasn't dry either!
Boxes automatically come with veg and the white yogurt garlic sauce (good, but not as good as the spicy Cilantro!). I like that it comes with the veg even tho I usually don't like veg, but it adds a nice crunch to the meal š
Service: Phenomenal service at this location. We were part of the opening rush and we know the Grilled chicken is usually made-to-order, so I know it would be a bit of a wait. One of the staff, Bernie, apologized bout the wait time (which is expected for two grilled chicken orders) and continually updated us on the progress. Despite also prepping a large catering order, he made sure we didn't feel forgotten and served us with a genuine smile. Food is already great, service is what is going to bring me back to this location.
The Lamb Beef is so good here! Especially the side of Fries! Clean Restrooms, Beautiful Cups, Seating is awesome, and so much more!
Good location with good seating inside and outside. Fast and friendly service. Itās a chain so you know what you get from one location to the next. The box with shaved chicken, salad, fries, and feta is my go-to.
Great for lunch dinner or snack, this place is a kind of hidden gem that has these huge delicious wraps (among other things). But I always get the wraps. They are filling and have always been made with a good meat to salad ratio. Add spicy or yogurt sauce to your liking and enjoy. Staff is always friendly here and service is usually quick.
Very great service. Friendly and helpful. The food was priced great, prepared quick, and good portions. The place was clean and offered indoor and outdoor dining. Prices seemed reasonable about 11-12 dollars a dish. The saffron rice was really good. The lamb beef was ok but lacking a little flavor. The only negative was the fries were well flavored but soggy and did not seem "fresh". All in all would highly recommend as a quick easy meal that is definitely full filling but don't expect a gourmet authentically flavored plate.
Came right when they opened at 1030. Great food and great service. Came in hungry left full. Everything tasted fresh. Not my type of music but next time we will sit outside.
Went in after a bad day. It was 9:58 and they close at 10. I felt bad for going in late but before I could say I was sorry the guy was acting like we were old friends and he was happy to see me. I don't remember ever meeting anyone in the service industry with such a great attitude and the food was amazing too!
Whoa! Blew my mind! I never knew Mediterranean could be soooo scrumptious! We were taken care of by Tasha and she was so nice! The environment was perfect down to the music and signs in the bathroom above the hand dryer... youāll understand when you see it haha.
GET THE CRAVE FRIES! San Diego voted them the the best and thought it might just be āone of those reviewsā but they are so right! Amazing!
Get the garlic yogurt sauce and spicy cilantro it was awesome on my chicken wrap! It seemed huge at first, but was filling in a good and healthy way. I feel great after that meal!
American style Mediterranean joint, pretty casual, laid back, deli style - neat and clean, self service place. The menu options are not huge. I took a plate with the chicken donor kabob. You can opt for beef meatball, or gyro meat ( beef and lamb mix). As a side the options are rice, salad, fries, or falafel. As a whole itās filling, and tasty- however, donāt expect the standard be like a high end Persian/ Mediterranean place. The food is more like an Americanized, with a good portion size. The plate I ate was decent. The chicken was decent, and the rice and falafel was mediocre. However, for a quick, and filling lunch ( as compared to the price) I will recommend the place.
Great vegetarian food quality. We got veggie kabob wrap, hummus with peta, Greek salad and fries. Kabob wrap and hummus were excellent. Greek salad was meh. Buklava was yummy. Only complaint is they have huge meat stack right behind the cash counter which is really ugly sight for a vegetarian like me. If one can tolerate it, rest is good.
Been coming here every week since my family moved here in the vicinity. The food is always fresh, delicious. But the customer service is excellent, there's never a bad day for any of the employees I interacted with. Always asking if I wanted something to drink while I wait for food.
I love the kebabs here! So far Iāve tried the shaved beef, lamb and chicken and theyāre all delicious! Instead of the wrap you can also get the meat with a side of rice, but I havenāt given that a try yet. The ingredients are all very fresh and it is such a healthy and filling meal. Even when the restaurant is busy the service is nice and quick and grabbing a kebab to go is so fast and easy. Iām really glad I found this place! :)
I was impressed with how fresh and real the food was here. Real meat...carved in front of you... fresh, crunchy lettuce and cucumber. And the wrap itself was very wholesome tasting.
I went back three times in a short time, it was so delicious. The chicken, lamb and beef were all terrific in a wrap. I would do them all over, but then I need to try the rice plate too.
If you are a fan of mostly fast food, then you might not like it.
The staff was wonderful and they keep the menu simple. For a first time, you can just decide which meat you want to try and if you want it in a wrap or on a plate with rice. I got some extra sauce on the side; I'd recommend that.
The prices seemed reasonable and the place was nice and clean. They were super fast with take-out too. Thanks! I'll be back.
