Big beer selection, sausage, and fried food!
We go here often because it's a relaxed atmosphere with games available if you want to play, or screens if you want to watch the game. They've got a long list of rotating beers from all over, and everyone knows how well sausage and fried food goes will beer!
Great revolving beer selection on tap. Food is good and they give you a funny name like Princess Leia instead of an order number.
Craft beer and hand made brats!. You really cant go wrong with that combo, tasty food with wide variety of brats and sides of delicious fried food that wasn't overly greasy. Then there are the 24 rotating beers (the owner told us they have gone through about 500 different beers in the 2 years they have been open). I will definitely be back to see whats on the wall next time I am in town.

A New Niche. I found out about this place after reading they had Green Flash Extra Pale Ale on tap which Green Flash themselves have said was retired. The fact that they stock a San Diego classic that isn't even available anymore speaks volumes about the beer selection. Always changing, local beers plus, eclectic. They have a casual, fun ordering system for their sausages (the main staple at this gastropub) and tonight's (Monday nights) special, 25 cent mini corndogs, were cheaper than you could ask for and complemented the large beer selection and TVs well. It's gonna take some of Shakespeare's business.

They are dog friendly and have great food. We sat on the patio with other dog owners. We ordered at the bar and they give you a receipt with funny names preprinted on them, cute. So when my order was ready "Punky Brewster" was called over PA system..lol. Food was good. Hot wings and quesadilla were very good. Bar staff and cooks were happy and friendly. I recommend this place.
Randomly found this place on my maps looking for a place to eat & glad I saw it. It's a quaint place that appeared locals visited & which made me feel like I was at home at my local bar. It was wing night so I ordered wings & a pork bratwurst (which back east you don't see on menus to often) & both were good. The flavor of the wings were nice & a lil saucy (only downside is I ordered my wings xxcrispy & they skin was still soft & rubbery) the brat was good size w/ sauerkrat & onions & the give you 5 different options for mustards. The girl working behind the bar was very friendly, pleasant & attentive which is a positive.
The Regal Beagle is one of my favorite beer bars, with an elite lineup of rotating taps to please your palate on any given day. Wing day at regal (whether it be Wednesday at the Seagull or Thursday at the Beagle) is a religious experience. I can’t get enough of the old bay dry rub with double X sauce on the side for a midweek pick-me-up.
Was not sure at first looked like a dive bar but let's give it a shot. Friendly service and quick. The beer was good cold and my Philly cheese steak was amazing. I eat Philly cheese steaks almost everywhere and this was up there. Great find if you just flew into the city and you want a beer and something to eat. Can't go wrong with this place.
Great beer selection. I haven't been here in a long time but it's still a fun place. The food is great. This time, we had the pretzel. It was delicious and crispy on the outside.

Great beer....awesome time playing trivia. When you order food, you are given the name of a popular TV/Movie character from the 80s/90s. When they call out that name, you pick up your food. Wait staff was super friendly! Fun little local Bar. ONLY beer and wine....no hard liquor.
Came for the Packer game against the Seahawks, but way too crowded. I'll take that as a good sign and come earlier next time for a game. Pictures did look bigger before I came, so maybe they can expand. Go Pack
Love this place. Small and divey with a good selection of beers. Hipsters have moved in but It's still on my visit list while in San Diego. Get the El Diablo sausage. Good beer, Good food, reasonable price. Vincent Vega come on down...
Excellent small bar with a great handful of taps. Food looked great but I didn't order. Nice happy hour selection. Staff was friendly and offered some great selections for this tourist

Regal Beagle. Always a pleasure visiting this establishment. Very friendly staff. Solid line up of craft beers on tap for your thirsty palete. Heck out their food menu..you will NOT be disappointed. Favs = tater tots, bratwurst, wings. Pro tip: if you need to pick up someone at the airport, hit this place before hand. Or visit RB after your long flight ✈️ for some grub and beers.
Ashley is amazing!!! We have been coming here for 3 years and she always takes such great care of us. Wings and tots are the best! We miss their old cajun fries, but you can't win them all. Definitely go here, particularly on Thursdays.
