Angie your server was fantastic! Food was amazing delicious and visually delicious too. Very modestly priced. Octopus was tender and one of the best I have ever had! This will become a regular night out for us. Cocktails excellent too!

Everything......from the wine to dessert was excellent! The service outstanding and has now become one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. Can't wait to go again!
Amazing food and customer service. We had an outstanding server, unfortunately I cannot remember her name but she had a pixie cut. She went over the top to make sure our table was taken care of.

Been here 3 times now and each meal was fantastic. Each appetizer, entree and dessert has never disappointed. Best Negroni cocktail I have ever had!

We live in paradise when we are able to walk to this wonderful restaurant. Check out happy hour with meatballs and polenta washed down with a fruity sangria�
We enjoyed the grilled meatball and polenta, sausage in ciabatta and rosemary fries. All delicious and very fresh - they make the sausage on-site! Well worth the trip to Kensington (we live in Escondido �)
We sat at the bar and as expected DELISH food and incredible service thank you Cory (sp). Cucina Sorella does not disappoint.

First time here and it won't be the last one. This is an outstanding restaurant. When we had our first bite we wondered if maybe they have a Michelin star and yes! They do! We started with the Brussels sprouts that from my point of view were somewhat salty, but still well cooked and I enjoyed them. I didn't find the greatest combination with the sauce that accompany them, but isore like a personal taste. I had the Rigatoni Bolognese and the experience was impressive. The flavours extend inside your mouth and are lasting leaving your taste sense satisfied but at the same time wishing another bite. To drink I had the sangria that it was good balanced, not sweet and refreshing. Also I tried the Lavender 75 and I really recommend it. For dessert I had the panna cotta and it was really delicious, light and the texture just perfect. The service is first class and the decoration the place overall really stands out. If you can visit this place you won't regret it. Hope to come back pretty soon.
A change in plans led us to this restaurant and we were very glad. The food was excellent, staff friendly and helpful, and the restaurant very clean and relaxing. Highly recommend Cucina Sorella. Side note, forgot to take a before of my salad but got one mid-dinner.
What a cute place! Also, Thursday is all night happy hour! We tried the bartender's choice cocktail which was a blackberry rum drink with egg white...so delicious! We got the truffle fries and the meatball with polenta for food. Both were tasty. I cant wait to go back.

UPDATE: Post pandemic the menu has changed a lot. Pizza is cakey. Clearly a new chef, cocktail menu got better and wine list changed. Same fantastic service and staff, bring back the build your own pasta dish!
Service was incredible. Andrea made us feel comfortable and even got something unique, I loved their gluten free craker that came with a delicious chicken pate and she asked the chef and I was able to purchase some to bring home.
Their are lots of incredible options but I need to be back soon because they chance often.
I order the yummy al dente pasta triangle with cheese and fig, and hubby the scrumptious pappardelli bolognese.
Love the decor and the cute little Market at the front.

First time here and had a lovely experience! Everything was fresh and delicious. Service was attentive and helpful (with recommendations, etc). Gluten-free pasta and other options so I will definitely be back!
This place consistently brings top quality food. The dinner salads are generous and really flavorful. The pizzas are unique and not at all like conventional greasy cheesy pizza parlor stuff. You will find light crisp crusts and perfectly combined toppings you've never tried before.
Like many current restaurants, the noise level is a bit high. The atmosphere is very family friendly. We consistently find the staff are attentive and engaging.
I had the Lavender 75 drink and it did not disappoint. For dinner I had the shrimp conchiglie. The sauce was light and zesty. Truly delicious!
Wonderful experience here! Food was lights out delicious, very reasonable price point, Pablo was a great host and they were able to get us in on short notice (Saturday night!). We will happily return.
Great neighborhood spot! My roomate and I really enjoyed our evening here. Such a pleasant atmosphere. The antipasto salad was my favorite item.
Excellent Food and Beautiful Decor. I must say this restaurant is one of my all time favorites, especially when I want to take family or friends out for a nice time. The Pappardelle Bolognese is to die for.
My husband and I had a great time, Mac and cheese and calamari were very good, but the cheese board and hot sausage flatbread oh my god were delicious, for sure we will come back soon

Delightful Italian eatery in Kensington.
We were out to find a spot for Margheritas and failed - 2 hour wait time wasnt going to work. However, we were greeted and seated immediately in a wonderfully decorated spot. The service was attentive and the food was delicious!
We visited this place because it was just placed on the Michelin Bib Gourmand list. I think this place should clearly be a 1 star. Fabulous food, great wait staff, and great ambience.

I discovered this new restaurant after waiting (and failing) to be seated at Ponce's across the street (we waited a half hour and left after being ignored that whole time - we were acknowledged when we arrived, so they knew we were waiting).
What a great new discovery! The food was excellent! Not only were we seated immediately on their ample (and staffed!) outdoor patio, we were acknowledged and our orders taken nearly as soon. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, so we ordered off the happy hour/appetizer menu to share. The food arrived VERY quickly, and everything was excellent - fresh, tasy, and ample portions. An excellent dining experience!
Here's why I took away one star. While our server arrived immediately, he struggled to take our order with the remote electronic device. Apparently the screen washes out in the outdoor sun. Hmmm...when you have a large outdoor patio...it seems like that is an issue that should have been resolved long ago. Aside from the frustration of ordering, everything else was great. I will definitely go here again!!
First of all, the service was great. We were checked on regularly and things were delivered quickly. The place and atmosphere is very nice.
For our meal, I had a couple of cocktails, the fried squash blossoms, and meat pizza.
The drinks were great and I love getting the squash blossoms here. Highly recommend! The meat pizza on the other hand was meh (too much bread to toppings in my opinion). I ate 2.5 pieces and let my friend take the rest home. I have had their pasta here before, which was great. I may stick to that in the future.
