I love these Special K sandwiches. I loved them 7 or 8 years ago when I first ate their sandwiches, and I still love them today! ❤️ I You just have to try it and experience the flavor. I drop by once on a while when I'm in the area. I buy sandwiches for my family. Forget burger joints. Get some real food. It's cheaper and not greasy gross. They sell a variety of goodies and fresh bakery yummies! 😋

I got the Honey Mayo Shrimp croissant and it was absolutely amazing. If you love walnut shrimp you'll absolutely love this. Very filling at an affordable price! The boba was excellent as well!

This is a special place where you can buy Vietnamese food at low prices. The fried bananas are delicious, and the egg rolls and banh mi sandwich are also recommended.

The service is friendly and efficient. Cha Chien or fried Ham is a great deal and I love it. Better there than the grocery store. It looks like an easy 16oz portion. The egg rolls were crispy and filled with meat. The sandwiches are pretty good! The bread isn’t very flakey but I liked the pate and freshness. You’ll find a lot of ready to go comfort food, even cassava cake!

This sandwich place is worth the drive out of your way (even though centrally located). So much variety and one of the best banh mi sandwiches you will find in San Diego with a great variety of other items. Their homemade bread is probably the best there is in town. Amazing for visitors, a must for locals!

Great bahn mi for fair price ($6.99 on most varieties). We bought it for the next day for a flight, so I can't talk about the freshness of the sandwich, but it still tasted great despite being in the fridge overnight. Good array of sweets and drinks as well. We bought the pandan honeycomb cake for $10, good for 6-8 portions. The Xoi (rice with coconut flakes) was delicious for $2.99, great for breakfast or a midday snack.

I love this place. Great value and taste. The sandwiches are a good size and the radish and carrot are so crunchy and fresh. The drinks are very good too. Love the passion fruit green tea with lychee jelly. 😋

Delicious 5 star bahn mi sandwiches on crispy fresh made baguettes. My faves are the grilled chicken and grilled pork, with added pate on both. Their avocado smoothie was very tasty, but a little light on the avocado. Their cafe sua da was good. My wife tried the rice noodle salad with two meats; she chose shrimp and pork. She gave it 4 stars since the pork was thin fragments, but the shrimp were a good size. I am glad the restaurant is family owned and not a chain, and was happy to see it crowded on a Sunday at lunchtime. The chicken curry was very good, similar to mild Indian curry. The goi cuon are very fresh and they do not skimp on the shrimp and pork. The soursop smoothie was very fresh with a balance of tart and sweet. Update: Prices have increased, but quality remains excellent. Update: Got the Chicken Curry with Rice Noodles, and the grilled Pork Banh Mi sandwich. Both were very good, but the curry was difficult to eat due to the chicken pieces having sharp bones.

Great place for sandwiches and pastries! Staff is nice and they have a pretty wide selection of food. You can go for breakfast or lunch. Only thing is. The breakfast sand which and lunch sandwich were dry. Also, be prepared to take home some leftovers because these sandwiches are large! Your dollar goes far here :)

Great find. This place has a little bit of everything. The K’s Breakfast Croissant was great. Prices are reasonable for the size of their sandwiches. Highly recommend it.

I'm not a Pate fan (pork liver) but if you are you definitely love the sandwiches. Also, you would need to be a fan baguette bread as sandwiches bread. If you're unfamiliar it is harder than must other bread when cold. Since the sandwiches are cold serve the bread is a little hard. But they have good Boba tea drinks and you can buy fresh baked breads and pastries as well. Good atmosphere and decent food again if that's your thing (if not, play it safe and get the chicken sandwich or breakfastsandwiches).

Appears to be very, very popular. Not a traditional sandwich shop. Although the sandwich roll was very good and ingredients were very fresh, it wasn't my cup of tea. Service was quick and professional. I'll give them another try.

Neighborhood staple. Can't go wrong with iced coffee and breakfast bánh mì. Skip the line and head to the order kiosk off to the side

Finally had a chance to come back since the grand reopening. The new location looks great and feels a little more spacious. Didn't seem incredibly busy, but the order turn around time for my #1 sandwich was good. Lots of other drink and snack options, as well as a bakery with pastries!
