Authentic Chinese Food. Nice atmosphere, good presentation and tasty, authentic Chinese food. I really enjoy breakfasts on the weekends. This is the first sit-down restaurant I've been to that offers Chinese bread and hot soy milk. The fried bread is not greasy, and dunking it the hot soy milk reminds of my childhood visit to Taiwan,
Outstanding service! Awesome tasting meal. Superior to PF Chang or similiar quality. Highly recommend. Surprised to see such a low rating. Taste is very suttle. This is NOT American style chineese food, go elsewhere if that is what you want.
The food here is amazing! We were skeptical at first because it’s right by a holiday inn but it’s fantastic!!!!
This was commended by many Chinese friends I have, I was looking for dim sum but it is actually good overall Chinese food but not so much on the dim sum, if you are looking for that then must go elsewhere
Very rare does a Chinese restaurant to serve breakfast that is not Cantonese style dim sum. I like the sweet soy milk and quite a lot of choices on the menu :)
Food was outstanding. Service was ok. Price on the high side but not outrageous. We enjoyed our meal. There was not a great selection of vegetarian dishes, but I was able li e to find a dish to enjoy. The eggplant in garlic sauce was very flavorful and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We also had the plate of mixed vegetables which was superb.
Last evening I took a party of 10 people to Chun's. We have dined there many times over many years. My wife and I worked in Asia, including China, and we enjoy Chinese food. Chin's is able to seat large groups, because they have large round tables that accommodate 10 people, allowing everyone to sit together and converse as they enjoy the food. The large tables also have a rotating center allowing everyone easy access to the dishes. Unlike typical American Chinese restaurants, Chin's has a clean modern upscale decor, which adds to the dining experience. I'm an elderly man with severe arthritis and I found the chairs very comfortable.
Our party enjoyed 10 dishes, which is one advantage to dining with a large group. We were able to finish all the generous sized dishes, since we included four college students, who said they were "starving", which probably meant they had not eaten in 2 or 3 hours. Surprisingly, the boys even said they liked the vegetable dishes, which pleased their mother and grandmother. Over the years we have tried many of the different dishes and all have always been excellent. My daughter has a variety of food allergies and Chun's adjusted the dishes' ingredients for her to enjoy the meal.
On the menu, many of the dishes are displayed in pictures and the dishes we received were just as beautifully plated as they were in the pictures. That is one indication of an authentic Chinese meal, where presentation is an important part of the dining experience. I could rave about the food, but it is best to try a restaurant to see if the food pleases you. Everyone in our party raved about the food and how much they enjoyed the dinner. Chun's is a very clean restaurant and in my experience that generally reflects the kitchen and food handling. Service is another measure of a good restaurant. Our service was great. The waitresses and waiters were very attentive to all our needs and requests. As we left the restaurant several of the employees and managers thanked us and said they hoped we enjoyed our meal. Chun's is one of the best reasonably priced restaurants in San Diego and its location right at the I-15 exit on Miramar Road is very convenient.
Chun's is one of our family's favorites. We love their tofu pudding northern China style and a few other great Chinese brunch on their weekends' lunch menu. Occasionally they don't have it on weekends. So it would be good to call and check before you go.
By far the best value for the money I've found in Philly noodle soup. My noodles were cooked perfectly and I think there was half a duck in the bowl, for about $7.I don't know why anyone eats fast food with options like this available. Delicious.
A nice & real Chinese restaurant. Very close to our hotel. We were a party of 3, and ordered 3 dishes (enough). They made good shanghai dishes. Service was good too. The waiters are very warm and friendly.
Went here for the Chinese breakfast, and wasn't disappointed.
The 油条 were very good, and my only complaint with the 豆漿 is that it's just slightly on the sweet side for my tastes.
The 牛肉麵 was decent. Not the best I've ever had, but also not bad.
Really enjoyed the dinner. The egg rolls were perfect, the shrimp in the soup were meaty & soup flavorful, the hunan fish was so tender & delicious. The service was fast & excellent.
Absolutely wonderful experience. The food was amazing and service excellent. Much more than just a meal! We used one of there private rooms not a birthday celebration.
I enjoyed my food here. Lev 3 or 5 on their spicy scale to 5 have zero spice though. Lunch came with soup and little salad. I fealt it was a good value and will go again. May try again with spice.
