I really enjoyed stopping in to Village Vino! The bartender was very knowledgeable about wine and answered all our questions. The cheese and charcuterie board was tasty, there was truffle salami! All the cheese and meat descriptions were located on the chalkboard to refer to thankfully since i never remember. Definitely check it out!

Village Vino is located in the heart of Kensington. The neighborhood has a relaxing vibe, parking can be challenging so Uber or Lift in. The Chef at V.V. is a creative genius, always changing the dishes to reflect the season. Today, we ate baked feta and this incredible quesdilla with mole sauce. Amazing wine selection. Happy hour starts at 4pm. Prices very reasonable and the service excellent!

This Chef prepares scrumptious tapas. Blue corn Mushroom quesadeillas & kale/brussel sprout salad w/crushed almond & cheese dressing. Have with 1 of their unique white wine blends. They've a new berry compote for dessert - hoping that staysnon the menu. Joining their 🍷club is great for discounts but they choose such unique world wines that I've not come across in my 55 yrs of wineing, it's worthwhile for the experience. Also have a monthly food-wine pairing that's always exceptional for their members 👏.

Village Vino is great for a bite and a glass of wine. They also have a large selection of bottles and very knowledgeable staff to help you pick one. Village Vino is one of my favorites!

I was looking for a relaxed place to take my mom for a little date night & this was perfect. The staff is very attentive but the chef Erika made our experience memorable. We did the flights and bites as well as a fig & gorgonzola flatbread and some magical baked cheese & pesto spread. Also... have the homemade smores pudding.. you will cry

Really good wine selection. The shop staff know what they have and know how to recommend for anyone's palate. Flatbreads are very decent. Every time I want to meet someone for a glass of wine (or three), this is the only place I want to go.

The wine we had didn't thrill any palates though was good. Glass price is what you'd pay wholesale for a bottle which I find a bit hard to swallow . Beer selection is very well curated, with a couple out-of-towners on the list, though a bit higher priced than most. The service is mixed: each of the staff helped, took orders and served, but we didn't have a designated server which led to confusion for us. It was clear we were being talked about (but I'd much rather we'd be communicated with and treated more like friends/guests). The food is the clear star of the show here, and worth the frustrations mentioned above, so don't miss this casual gem of Kensington. P.S.-Beer-nuts rejoice: Clem's Bottle House is a stones-throw across Adams

Best wine bar in San Diego! It has a small but unique wine selection that often includes less common varietals. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful on your wine journey. They often have great wine tastings too.

Took my client here for a closing dinner. We had a wonderful time. Food was great. We enjoyed the atmosphere. I felt the service rushed me a little towards the end but maybe it was time for us to get out. LOL. We will be back. Thank you.

First time here, from L.A. area. The parking is an adventure BUT... once you put your foot inside the street facing glass doors, time to exhale and be One with the cool resurgent vibe of a small town on the rise, so the heavily packed narrow streets of the neighborhood feels more like a welcoming embrace! And the wine selection? Solid!!
