Seriously my favorite bar in the U.S. The staff was phenomenal, the drinks were perfectly made, and the live music was the garnish on the glass. Perfect experience, I may make trips back to Cali just for this bar.

Not a big whiskey drinker but wow! This place had the right nostalgia with the B&W TVs running, dead animal heads on the walls and a dimly lit atmosphere. Your musical guest "Cedrice" was all I needed to get the party started. I'll be back for sure.

The best whiskey sour I've had (I'll admit I haven't had a ton) but the decor and staff put this place over the top.

Loved the atmosphere! Several different rooms to hangout at, billiards and darts available. Prices weren’t absolutely insane, in fact happy hour deals were very good. Bartender made scotch recommendations, turned out great.

Such a neat place. We were attending an event around the corner and decided to take a walk around the block to find a coffee shop (I think we found something way better!). Seven Grand is very reminiscent of a pub. We walked in an immediately noticed and loved the plaid carpet and beautiful wood detail throughout the bar. There is plenty to do whether it is sit and chat and make new friends or catch up after work for happy hour and shoot some pool or play darts. Seven Grand has plenty of space inside to sit as well as a nice patio on the outside. They have mainly whiskey based drinks and some draft beers. Seven Grand also sells cigars. There is also a really neat back area which seems to house special whiskey tasting events (more info available on their site). They also have plenty of space to house bands with live music. We made it in time for happy hour and had some really good drinks for a great price. I had an Old Fashion and a Manhattan. Both were tasty but because orange is my citrus of choice I think the Manhattan stole the show for me. My husband had a whiskey sour which he really enjoyed as well (he actually said was one of the best he has had). Service was great, the staff is amazing and very helpful. When we first arrived there were quite a few people but it was really picking up around 6:30 or so. For sure stop by for a visit!

Seven Grand is a gem of San Diego! Awesome bartenders and staff, shelves and shelves of whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches from around the world, amazing hardwood trim, and live music! Went on one of their live music nights and saw some great jazz performers. They have an outside patio and an inside separate area for cigar lovers. Had an old fashioned with rye bourbon and it was delicious. Love the vibe of the place. Come visit when you can!

Whiskey Seven Grand is an interesting place to visit. Crowded on weekends Live music at night. They have 2 pool tables and 2 dart boards. Outdoor smoking area. Plenty of whiskey to be had. Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Best hidden gem hiding in here is Bar 3 Piece. At one time was a speakeasy type bar. Now they host the Whiskey tasting Society special events. Martin provides great experiences by bringing in brand ambassadors to discuss their product while you do your tasting. Other activities are Bottle kill nights and events such as discussions about different steps in the Whiskey making process. Check them out if you really love whiskey.

If you're looking for Whiskey, this is the place. First time here, and I'll definitely come back. The atmosphere is pleasant. The interior transports you to another Era in an upscale kind of way. Drinks are great, bartenders are very knowledgeable and will help you find the right drink for you. Must try at least once.

This is a must do bar in north park. It’s a bourbon bar, but they also have everything else. There is always a crowd here. There are two different scenes, a loud normal bar setting with live music. And then there is a speakeasy type low key section in the back. There is only street parking, and this part of town that can be difficult.

Good vibe, friendly bartenders, great drinks. I recommend the whiskey sour (they actually use egg whites here) or the gold rush. Both are delightful.

First time here, buddy brought me to the back bar and it was a great experience. High quality liquids, all the Pappy's and Weller's you can imagine. I got some Ol Fitz and some other goodies, great spot.

Massive selection, quiet atmosphere in the early - mid evening. Great service, loved the chill old motown tunes last night 10/1/18. Definitely a place to celebrate with the finest, relax with your favorite, or talk it up with someone ~ whatever floats your boat.

This is a cool, casual bar. It has a nice selection of whisky and the prices go from like $12 dlls a glass to $40 or more. They have cocktails too like old fashioned, mules, etc. They have pool tables and darts. Almost everyday they have live music, the bands are pretty good.

Awesome local bands and great bartenders, really amazing house cocktails. It's a whiskey bar but they serve beer and other liquor as well. 2 pool tables, smoking patio with tables and chairs. Looks like a speakeasy and in a trendy neighborhood full of hipsters who are not always nice, this place always has lots of awesome people. Made a lot of friends here! Great for a date, too. Classy but not crazy prices.

Do yourself a favor and go to a Whiskey Society tasting on Wednesday or Friday/Saturday night. Marty is amazingly charismatic and knowledgeable and helps make the tasting accessible even for the tasting novice.

One of my favorite bars in North Park, the happy hour drinks are only 6 dollars! Granted there are only two options, but it's a great spot just for a quick drink. The atomsphere is very chill, I liked how they added an open window area as well. They always seem to have a great whiskey well too, one time it was eagle rare!

If you are looking for a whiskey bar with great drinks, fair pricing, and some good music. Look no further 7Grand has all these 3 in North Park. Did I mention it also had pool tables and a second bar?!

They have the best olde fashions. Drinks were so good and the bartender was a fun guy. I’m from Ohio and he said “OH” and I replied “IO”

A lot of fun! There was a live brass band in the main room, a back room with background music and seating, two outdoor areas for smoking cigars and an ample supply of whiskey. Would def recommend.
