I stayed in Little Italy for a week and I embarrassingly admit I went there 4 out of 7 days. I had two donuts per time and a coffee. It was worth every single penny and calorie. Everything from the setup and the staff was top notch. It's certainly a must try when you're in the area.

I live around the corner from here and have passed this place a million times. Finally came with my hubby for his birthday breakfast and it was everything we'd hope it would be. Unique and tasty donuts, good coffee and super friendly customer service. Probably won't be waiting for another birthday to come back again.

I had their breakfast sandwich they serve on a plain donut, OMG!! If I could marry a food, this sandwich would be my husband! And the pretty girl with the chest tattoo and super long hair that works there would be my brides made, she was super sweet and makes me want her to be my best friend! And don't get me started on the Chocolate latte.....I don't like coffee, but this drink made me see what all this coffee buzz is about!!! If I could just substitute this for water, that would be amazing!! Over all, this place is dope AF!!

Blood Orange Donut. Never before have I had the urge to lick a donut... (Recommend you eat the candied blood orange slice on top separately.)

Absolutely delicious! The chocolate old fashioned is perfection. Satisfying fried crunch on the outside, tender and cakey inside. The chocolate has bacon in it. So delicious. And the girl who took our order was delightful. This place is A+ =)

Best donut I've ever had. Good customer service. Cool table area on roof of shop. If I lived in San Diego I'd go there all the time.

Good donuts! Unique spot. Love the deck where you can sit and enjoy your treats and see the harbor and watch people down below. I like the music they play too. Good vibes. Always nice people at the ordering window too.

I finally made it to this place during my final days in San Diego on a friend's suggestion. I have tried several donut shops in the city and honestly, I see the light in the dark with Devil's Dozen. . Tucked away on Kettner Boulevard in Little Italy, this branded cafe taunts and tempts anyone with a sweet tooth walking past their roadside, walkup counter. The donuts are made from scratch phresh daily and are available until what is in stock is sold out, so if you want the best of the variety, get there early. A woman with a cute and colorful head bow in her hair, cordially greeted me and took my order. I had the Vanilla Old Fashioned and an almond milk hot chocolate. . After receiving my goodies, I went upstairs to their seating area that overlooks the Waterfront park at San Diego Harbor. The donut was perfectly glazed on the outside and felt like a mix between soft cake and a muffin upon sinking my teeth into it. The glaze was more sweet than the dough which was a good contrast and balance for taste and worth the potential cavities. The cocoa was hot, but not searing and and had a round flavor probably some of the best cocoa I've had. If you want a good sugar rush to start your day and you're in the area, don't hesitate to dance with the devil's dozen!

I always stop here anytime I walk by! They always have a fabulous selection of doughnuts that cater to all taste buds and flavor cravings. The menu rotates weekly with lots of specialty, seasonal and vegan options! I have never been disappointed. Each bite is decadent and delicious. You can't go wrong here!

We got to the shop around 9:30 and the selection was limited, so go early! We tried a vanilla old fashioned, coconut lime, raspberry whipped, and salted caramel. If I had to pick a favorite, I would definitely choose the the vanilla old fashioned. The texture and flavor were off the charts! The other flavors were delicious too. We devoured them all, like animals, on the way to the zoo! They are on the pricey side so that would keep me from visiting often but I’d definitely love to try more flavors. The service was great too—very fast and friendly. Thanks! I love your branding!

You better know what you want Check the menu before going. It's busy at times I hear it gets slow at points but I haven't been there yet for those slow points. Always busy when I go replace to get a unique donut. Very tasty The flavors will surprise you how authentic they taste. Like a minute to anyone not a dollar donut. It doesn't of these are cost a little. But worth it for taste only.

We really enjoyed these donuts, they deserve a better rating! We tried a few and all the flavors matched the names to a T. Great view upstairs and the only thing is we wish we tried this place earlier!

The glazes and toppings are the focus here! Delicious yeast and cake donuts as the base, creatively topped/glazed. We tried mango pineapple and blackberry yuzu paired with a Mexican mocha and almond milk matcha... A perfect way to start the day sitting upstairs and watching the bay.

Nice rooftop! We ordered the vanilla old fashioned donut and the pumpkin spiced one. I’d definitely recommend the vanilla donut, not too sweet.

My wife and I live in Boise and are avid donut enthusiasts that have made it a point to find the best donut in the US. Without question Devils Dozen’s Vanilla Glaze is the best donut on the west coast. I never forget to stop by when I'm in San Diego. It's a must. Their other donuts are also great, but the gem is the vanilla glaze. You better get there before 11 am if you want one.

It was my first time, and let me tell you, this place is awesome. I mean, look at all the plants, how beautiful! The matcha I had was great, took my partner a Mexican mocha, and she loved it. I don't know which donut I liked more, the raspberry whipped or the Homer lol

Edit: back to normal!! My favorite, the classic chocolate glaze, now comes covered in these super hard little jawbreakers and other little sprinkles. I loved the donut because of how soft and slightly chewy It is. Now I have to be super careful while chewing and that ruins the experience. I'm hoping that's an October thing (?)

I went to Devils Dozen last week with some girlfriends and it was AMAZING! The donuts were incredible (always made fresh by the hour) and the Vanilla latte I had was the perfect balance to the rich donuts. We had the vanilla glaze, cinnamon crunch and lunar new year (orange flavor)! Local tip: show up early and get first pick of the various flavors! Once they sell out, they are closed for the day. The rooftop was so gorgeous, overlooking Kettner St., but still providing a cozy and intimate setting. I was able to catch up with my girlfriends over some mouth-watering donuts and good coffee! Definitely recommend checking this place out for some fun, sweet treats!

I passed by the place daily headed to work, and there was rarely a day that the line wasn't wrapped around the corner. I bought an assorted dozen, and as you can see in the picture they went quickly. My coworkers loved them and we definitely decided these were a must have again. My two favorites were the berry & cream followed by the Nutella stuffed one. I recommend them especially early in the morning.

The seasonal coffee was delicious. I had the orange cinnamon latte, it was awesome. The sugar cinnamon and vanilla bean doughnuts were delicious. Unfortunately the banana doughnut was not good in my opinion. Everything was very fresh. Plan accordingly because when they run out you have to wait until the next day.
