I love this place absolutely amazing food and staff! I'm not vegan or vegetarian but my goodness, there's food here that I thought I would never like but the sauces and spices are to die for! The cook knows how to make a bomb meal! The staff is so sweet and friendly, they remembered what food I love, my name, my fiancee name, and always greets us at the door.
The atmosphere is very comfortable and homey, we have sat there for 5 hours having a good time and laughing with the staff. We didn't want to leave! But it was closing time.
If you ever are I'm the area, please try it I promise you won't be disappointed in any way shape or form! Drink selection is the best in town! And they normally have a deal going on!

Very creative and imaginative menu coupled with friendly courteous service made for a wonderful meal. The fried mushroom calamari was a huge hit our favorite dish was the fettuccine with mushrooms and sugar snap peas. Exciting flavors great service highly recommend this place!
I’ve been traveling the world with Cirque Du Soleil and had the pleasure of eating at many vegan restaurants. Grains is among the best. The Banh Mi sandwich blew my mind!

Awesome food and great service...My Daughter and Son are Carnivors but they loved the Calamari Sticks, Chicken Popcorn and Buffalo Wings appetizers...Definitely recommend this place for Vegans and Vegitarians...

Great vegetarian restaurant with many gluten/dairy free meal choices. Nice casual atmosphere. Hopefully they will get AC soon, though.

Very good. Went with an omni friend and we both enjoyed everything we ate. The larb was delicious. Can't go wrong with buffalo cauliflower. Had the bahn mi sandwich which came with garlic potato wedges. Friend had the quinoa pasta. The service needs a little work, but all very friendly. I was pleased to hear that they have not yet had their grand opening so they are working out some of the little kinks. Found out they do not have a freezer so everything is made fresh daily. As a designer, I'd like to see the decor softened a bit. Also, need a dessert menu. So lucky to live 4 blocks from this place!
Love this place and loved everything we ordered! How exciting to walk in and be greeted by one of my favorite servers from a Thai restaurant we have been going to for at least a couple of decades. Will definitely be coming back as often as I can!

We came in yesterday and had an excellent meal (both salads on the menu, calimari, and buffalo cauliflower), equally great service, and an awesome atmosphere. Can't wait to hear of Grains' continued success in the future!
Cute place - went on a Saturday afternoon and there was no wait. You order at the counter and then sit where you'd like. I enjoyed the kombucha on tap options, and they also have beer and wine available.
We ordered the Tokyo fries, bahn mi, and tom kah soup. All were delicious and served at the perfect temperature. The food was all flavorful and the service was friendly. I'd return here again.

One of the best take our experiences my husband I have ever experienced happened on our short vacation in San diego. We were stating right across from Grains and figured we could try them out. We got some grilled portobello along with tempura chicken which was obviously not chicken but tasted really good. I got an Asian platter with mushrooms substituting for chicken. My husband got noodles with tofu and both of our moms were delicious. I would highly recommend this place to people even if you are not vegan or vegetarian.
Not what I expected but in a good way. They had a great choice of vegetarian vegan options and their service was quick. I took my order to go. I highly recommend the dishes that I ate stir fried eggplant. I got mine with no onions. Absolutely cooked perfectly and the flavor was great. I also got the holy shiitake's really great alternative to french fries and healthier. I ordered a salad for later with the dressing on side. And I got mango sticky rice which I tasted and it was done perfectly. This is my first time here and I'm glad I came in. I put the rice and eggplant with tofu on my plate at home, very generous portions so I have left overs.
