We stumbled across the place, so glad we did! Great beer, delicious food, we had the nachos which were really good, our server suggested doing half chips/fries, definitely recommend. We had pizza & my hubby had the Serrano chicken burger. Our server Andrew was awesome, he said he wasn’t even a server, he is a bartender but they were short...he was 👍🏼! This is a very cool place, great service, everyone was very attentive. We watched a hockey game. After we ate we went upstairs to check out the rooftop bar and finish our beers, it’s really awesome up there, we watched the game & the heaters made it cozy! Check this place out!!
I personally think this place is a hidden gem. The place is very spacious and being that everyone loves brewery’s this places is one of my favorites for just that. Food is what to expect at a place that specializes in making beers and but the food I’ve order there is always delicious!
This place is great! Food and beer selection were awesome, views can't be beat and the staff was super friendly! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting San Diego!

Great place, knowledgeable staff, the drinks were delicious and at a decent price! Definitely coming back. I really enjoy the atmosphere at this East Village gem.
Rooftop bar at sunset, excellent food, service and of course beer!! Would recommend the beer battered cauliflower and the honey lime habanero wings! A+
Love the menu. Dog friendly. Great draft list. Friendly staff. Filled with residents. One of our favorite places.
Amazing menu, very good beer, and their staff is the best I have encountered!
This place has amazing beers on tap and the food is amazing....staff are great people and they make sure you have a great time
Love it! Food is super bomb! There are lots of different beers to satisfy anyone’s beer cravings. Benny is an awesome brewer and has a very wide range of beers. Love the Cali Love IPA as well as the Bossman IIPA! Staff is very fun and laid back as well.
Love this place. Excellent staff, great beer and tasty food 🥘
My brother and I went out yesterday to explore downtown SanDiego and 10 Barrell was out 1st stop. Granted we showed up about 30 minutes early but the front door was open. We were greeted by Benny “ The Brewer”. Needless to say he was very welcoming and conversation went easy and next thing we know he’s pouring us samples of his top brews. So yeah great dude, and great way to start out our morning. We walked around the establishment and hung out for awhile. Our waiter was good and service was great. No complaints here. The beer was tasty, probably one of the better stops we got that day. Would definitely go back again!
The service was wonderful. Really felt welcome. Received great info on beer brewing. Loved the flavors of what we tasted. The food was excellent also. I can’t wait to go back. Had a taste of the coming Thai coffee nitro that should be ready on Monday. Loved it!
10 Barrel Breweing has excellent beer and great service they never let me down. Thanks 10 Barrel!!! #crowler #bossman
Excellently excellent. Never been to a place with better beer and scrumdiddlyumptios nachos
Amazing food and staff!up and coming hot spot in the East Village
The staff is very friendly and accommodating! Beer is tasty AND they have a full kitchen, unlike most breweries! Also.. ROOFTOP ACCESS!
Great beer and great food their red ale on nitro is fantastic
Great beer, food and service!!! One of our favorites.
Steak Nachos are the best! Staff always super nice!
Great food, crisp Sauvignon Blanc & friendly service!
Yes it may be owned by a big company. But so is ballast point and stone. Beer was decent with an alright selection. Food was good but some dishes were overpriced. Overall, it has a good atmosphere to just sit and talk. If you were a small brewery and a huge company wanted to buy you for MILLIONS, would you say no? Really?
A solid brewery in East village (by way of Portland!). It's new, so I'm not sure if the priced are reflective of that, but A 10 BEER FLIGHT FOR 10 DOLLARS? That's pretty sweet. Even for a not too beerzy person like me. That, along with the divine steak nachos, made it a good experience. The place itself is pretty cool, upstairs rooftop bar and very open feel. It feels like a brewery that also is a respectable restaurant. Don't fret about the location, I live a few blocks away and we walked there at 9 pm on a Friday.
The beer, by the accounts of my IPA professional taste tester (my lovely spouse), is darn good. I thought it was good as well, but my opinion on beer is decently useless. I liked the sasquatch. It was light.
It's a good brewery and a good time. Happy to have it in East Village!
Super friendly and chill atmosphere! Went for brunch and it was delicious! Great prices too! June Update: Salads are a perfect summer lunch option! We love the top deck but inside works when the cool temps are out. Also, check out their alcoholic slushees!
Food is nice with delicious, extensive craft beer list. Nice rooftop seating here. Bartenders are very nice and let us have a sip for different beer we requested.
I loved this place a lot and definitely recommend. Customer service was amazing, I really liked our waiter but everyone was super friendly and helpful. The foods were delicious and great variety of drinks. Their prices are amazing too. We absolutely had a great time her and would come back again.
Loved this place. Easy to access, and a good amount of parking. Food was super on point, and the best dining out I've had since Covid started. Birria flautas, and the Birria pizza were amazing. I even liked the Calamari which i usually am not a fan of anywhere, but here it was really delicious. I'll be back for sure!
Finally made it to 10 Barrel's San Diego outpost in the East Village. There's a second story "rooftop" bar that is great to hang out on when you are feeling like having a lazy sunday. Beer selection is very good with several of the offerings brewed at this location. I wasn't expecting much from the food, however I have to say that the Spicy Grilled Chicken Melt was fantastic! Definitely will be heading back in the future to try more beer and more of the food!
A quick visit to SD led me to a handful of breweries and this was easily my favorite. A wide array of food options, and some really great beer. My favorite far and away was the Brick Dust Amber. Head straight to the rooftop patio for a great atmosphere and decent views of downtown.
I have been wanting to come to this brewery since I had their cucumber sour at Block Party in Highland Park.
My experience raised the bar for SD breweries!
The Mac and cheese, brews and the Aaron’s astonishing pizza put 10 Barrel as my top fav!
I just had time to try 1 beer, Cali Love IPA. Is a really good beer, hoppy and well balanced of bitterness. Gorgonzola Nachos are top.
