Breakfast buffet had all the good basic components. Service was excellent. My eggs to order came out very quickly and cooked just right.
A hidden gem outside of San Diego - beautifully designed restaurant with great local cuisine. Will recommend it!
Asado is one of my favorite places to go in the area. Staff is super friendly, drinks are great, and the food is excellent. My go to spot when here for work.
Beautiful location with amazing service. I was extremely impressed with everything. They also do outdoor movie nights here on the grass for free. I will be back for sure.
We ate here for breakfast. We had the breakfast buffet for $18 which was great. Service was fast and friendly. The grill waa clean and the decor very modern. I really enjoyed having breakfast here. Just a not that you can get only breakfast here.

A wonderful little restaurant on the Hotel Karlan grounds. We got in late and didn't want to drive anywhere else for food so we stopped in after checking in to grab some food. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was great, my husband got the chicken quesadilla and loved that there was chicken in every bite and their roasted salsa served alongside was nice and spicy. I did the Mexican burger (can't remember the name) and it was a great sized beef patty that was grilled nicely, the thick cut bacon was great too, only compliant would be the pico de gallo served on it was overly oniony, that's all I tasted. My daughter order the kids chicken tenders with the fruit bowl and wow was that a fruit bowl! It had 5 large strawberries, a generous portion of cantaloupe and pineapple and it was all fresh and ripe. Had breakfast the next morning there, did the buffet option, and it was again lovely. Lots of selections, well stocked and kept fresh, coffee is great as well! Can't wait to come back to this hotel and restaurant!
Met a friend here, it was really nice. Very laid back and the grounds are great. It is a little hard to find but a nice hotel. There are several places within walking distance if you decide not to rent a car.
Good food great breakfast service and people. Just missing a basic meal that is not all fluffed up and overpriced so I went elsewhere for dinner.
Family members and I enjoyed Asado Grill's Thanksgiving buffet. Food was delicioius, there were traditional favorites and healthy additional choices including Salmon L'Orange and great fresh salads!
The breakfast buffet is great. Just about anything you could want, with made-to-order omlettes included (with the breakfast voucher). No complaints at all.
The food was great, and the atmosphere is awesome!

Decent food and quality service. Keeping in mind it's a hotel restaurant, it's good for a bite when you don't fancy driving.
Great staff, everyone there is always attentive and helpful. Food is great, the California chicken club is amazing.
Stopped in for a few drinks at the bar. Small bar, but not bad. Friendly staff.
