Everything you could want in a "hole in the wall" falafel shop! I had the vegetarian platter and everything was prepared fresh. Good balance of flavours (not unnecessarily salty, which is my most common complaint). It was also a great value. My whole meal was just $11, so I treated myself to some of the beautiful, baked-fresh baklava. Some of the other reviewers complained about the service, but I found the young lady working the register to be friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back on my next visit to San Diego!

A decent place to have falafel plate and vegetarian plate...hot falafel and juicy salad was a treat along with baba ghanoush... hummus could have been better. Staff is courteous.

Service needs improvement. Food tastes good and the portion is really big. The meet is on the dry side.

Stopped by for lunch during their Gyro happy hour (2 for $7). The gyros were small enough for a quick lunch without weighing us down, plus the lamb was delicious! So tender and flavorful. Best gyro ever.

The lunch special with schwarma meat was a delicious and extremely reasonably priced. Came with a beverage and fries too. Quantity was right on, seasoning was very well done and very tasty. Lots of cucumbers in the tzadziki sauce and the gyro had the prefect ratio of meat to veg to sauce. I'll come back here again often and I'm sure I'll crave it again soon!

Simple. sweet, shwarma. The owner here is an absolute gem, he was helpful and personable and just made you feel welcome. Not many vegetarian options, though the falafel plate was good, filled me up and tasted good. The decor was perfect, the kinds of pizza-parlor/old-fashioned establishment kind of feel. A good, cheap option in the Gaslamp. I definitely hope to stop by again.

I loved the shawarmas I had when I was in Romania and Ukraine, but haven't been able to find any like that anywhere else. The one I had here was pretty good and the closest I've had. Could have used some more garlic sauce, but overall really good.

Awesome shawarma !! we went for a confernece in San Diego and made sure we had our lunch n dinner at this shop. The shop is situated close to San Diego convention centre and in the middle of gaslamp quarters. We enjoyed eating chicken shawarma and falafel sandwiches. We also explored other options on the menu card and the taste was good. 5$ lunch combo and 7$ all day combo was money saver. Staff is super cool and friendly..not to forget the "Hello Man.. How are you?" greetings everytime you enter the shop. 😊

I'm a sucker for gyros, was walking past this place and couldn't resist. The gyro meat is really good and seasoning is spot on. Prices aren't bad either.

Great food, authentic, good gyro, beef and chicken plates. Small place, can get crowded, but you can get food to go. They have nice little desserts as well.
