Terminal 1 is crowded and limited places to grab food but Banker Hill is great for grabbing a sandwich that is already prepared.. just grab and go. I had the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich and chased it down with a California Honey Blonde Ale. Instead of waiting for a beer around the corner at the bar, stop here for little to no wait for local IPA, Lager, and Ale beers plus they have vodka and other alcoholic drinks available.....awesome....skip the lines!
When you got that almost 5 hr lay over due to fog, here in the angst of waiting was this gem.
It was a going and coming with people but alas if you're lucky and get a seat at the bar, you feel like a winner.
The lovely bartenders kept my beverage full and kind conversation.
The food was meh but the service was what kept me happy!

Grilled cheese was amazing! Salad was excellent and service was on the spot even with it being a very busy time!
Great bartenders-very knowledgeable and on the ball. Decent food, and local beers. Mostly ultra-hoppy West Coast IPAs. It’s also packed. Be prepared to stand or wait a while for a bar stool.
The bar is always busy - so getting a seat is tough. They also have only local SD brews on tap. Wasn't an issue for me, but the limited variety may be for others

Great place to wait for a flight and have drinks and food. It was expensive because in the airport. Seating is limited. Service is slow.
Far exceeded my expectations for airport food, was quick and good. 2 TVs and a decent bar. No real seating with the exception of bar tops. Also you can only drink alcohol pretty much in the bar or on the walkway immediately in front of the restaurant.

This bar is always hopping, but I don't drink so just ordered food. The chicken and brie sandwich with arugula, aioli, etc was delicious! Not cheap, but best airport food I've had in a long time. Will definitely return. Only negative is that there is no designated order/pickup spot so you sort of have to awkwardly get a bartenders attention squeezing between people at the bar.
Not sure why this isn’t rated higher. At least for brunch - I had the best avocado toast and egg sandwich in my life here. Did not expect true restaurant quality from an airport stand, but this place really delivered and it made our trip that much better. As a bonus, all the staff was friendly, very responsive, and on their game the whole time. I’d layover at this airport just for this place 😂
This is the best airport food I've ever had. Might be top 5 best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. The service is fast and friendly. This place shows that it isn't hard or expensive to serve good food at an airport.
