This is probably my favorite bakery for sweets and snacks so far in San Diego. The buns are just the perfect consistency, light and fluffy, but packed full of flavor and not too sweet. There is so much to try here, I will definitely have to come back because you can't do it all in one sitting. The strawberry jelly bun and the red bean bun are the winners so far.

Wide variety of Asian (sweet bean, egg custard, matcha) and Western (chocolate, danish) style pastries. Most sweet (tarts, cake, buns) treats but a few savory options (mushroom, bacon, cheese). Many coffee and tea options. Big clean place. Serve yourself (tings and trays) for many items. Others in refrigerated display case. Asian flavors for teas, coffee. Friendly service.

Decadently delicious, tasty treats at reasonable rates. Good value for the sophisticated flavors... Not overly sugary or sweet...or greasy. I will def be back....To do some more journalistic research for you all...Thankless job.

Love the rose tea boba! Every weekend we get off campus and rave about how good it is. Highly recommend. Would cry to see it go. Thank you 85 for changing my life for the better.

This place was fun because it was like a cafeteria for pastries. When you first walk in you grab a tray, tongs, and tray liner pick out the many pastries they have on display. They also have smoothies and coffee drinks.

Good selection. The iced sea salt coffee is amazing. Great with or without Boba. Accents the pastries nicely. I enjoy the taro puff pastry and red bean breads. The cookies are fresh and moist as well. Worth stopping for! Always very clean environment and friendly employees.

Location: Convenient with lots of parking. It's only a few minute's drive from the freeway too. Store: Clean with a pretty open layout. Plenty of room to view and select sweets and baked items. There is seating inside. Note that there is a separate line if you're only buying baked goods. Staff: Cheery and pleasant so far. No issues. Products: Good quality and nice, fun selection. The breads are very light and fluffy and everything looks fresh.

85 degrees is a nice looking bakery restaurant centrally located in the Midway district between downtown San Diego and point Loma. There is a large selection of baked breakfast and dessert items. I had the sausage, bacon cheese biscuits, strawberry cake and coffee. All were delicious but I would have preferred them heated up more and they had no way of doing that. The seating area is nice but there were no power points near my chair(I had to use one across the room). Service is good and the server knew all the answers to my questions. One major negative is the cheapest drip is over $3 with no refill discounts.

Stopped by today to pick up a mocha and a pastry and found out they no longer sell mochas. The cashier suggested their Salted Caramel Latte which was actually really good. They have a great assortment of yummy desserts as well as breads, pastries, etc. Try their Cheese Dog-really good! Prices are pretty reasonable.

This is my go to place for desert! They are always bringing out fresh bread and their blueberry cheesecake is delicious! Sometimes I will just stop in for their coffee or milktea. The drinks are my favorite! They're usually having some sort of sale or promotion so I feel like I'm always getting the best deals. I recommend downloading the 85° app so you can save up points and get free items!

AMAZING diversity of breads, buns, and treats! Could spend a day there trying all of the options! The teas and coffees were excellent, and the overall atmosphere and decorations made it a comfy place to hang out.

This is a relatively new 85c, so it isn't as crowded as the one in Balboa, and it isn't as large. I like this bakery, cakes are deliciously balanced for sweetness, not cloyingly sweet like most bakeries, and the selection of small breads is good, I am particularly fond of their small Japanese style cheesecake. Prices are good. They serve teas and coffees as well.

This is my go-to for beautiful, delicious and super-popular cakes for all the office functions! $35 and I'm out the door with a well-stabilized cake, a disposable cutter and even candles...which accoutrements are included in the price of the cake! They will even personalize a chunk of chocolate and artfully place it like you actually thought ahead! Makes me look good and everybody is stoked to have a yummy treat from 85C ;)

Everything is fresh. The Midway or Roscrans bakery isn't opened as long as the one off Balboa. But everything was very tasty of what we blight. We got a few berry tarts, the chocolate rolls, my husband picked out 2 of the bacon and cheese item . Brought every thing home. All were delicious

Awesome pastries, but lack of flavor varieties for the boba. Staff here are knowledgeable, extremely kind- happy and hopeful to help customers- and assertive. I (heart) their sustainability model and dedication to reusable dishware.
