This is a great spot!! The menu is simple, yet very diverse at the same time. I tried the Samurai dogg and was not disappointed. Tasty flavor profile. The rest of my family played it safe with the Xolito dogs but they were very good too. The food was so good that I wanted to order another dogg, but I decided to wait because it gives me an excuse to come back again very soon. Ernesto and the staff are all super friendly & attentive too. Oh...and Mexican Coke!!! The best!! Try this place.

Had such a great brunch kicking it at Barrio Dog The culture, the atmosphere, the art, the food. So good, so welcoming, so #ChicanoStyle If you haven’t tried this place- beat feet to #BarrioLogan and dive into a #Xolito!

The Xolito was amazing! The bread and everything in it were delicious! The service was just as good! It’s like a (gourmet) hot dog cart experience, standing and some sitting room. Will definitely go back and share this place!

This is a cool spot to go to and have great food. I had the bacon wrapped El Xolito. It was awesome, my brother has the El bombero and my husband had the El Capone. They both liked their dogs as well. It’s my new fav spot for hot dogs.

Simply delicious! Had the Bombero and was awesome, a good combination of spices, jalapeños, cheese and bacon. I recommend it!

It was worth the drive!! I've been following barrio dogg for a while and couldn't wait to try their amazing hot dogs. Two words "Amazingly FLAVORFUL"! And when you combine great food with AMAZING customer service you are destined for success!! The moment we got there it was instant hospitality at its best. I can't tell enough people about this place. It's definitely a MUST TRY for everyone. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait to come back.

I’ve been here twice already. My husband’s friend referred us to it and it’s soo good! I love how they always have a new agua fresa every day. Last time I went it was watermelon but today was pina! The food is delicious and every filling. I had the La Havana one(which is like a Cuban sandwich) and my husband had the Capone (which is like a Chicago style). The way that the place is designed is amazing Lowrider love everywhere.

What can I say about Barrio Dogg...hmm... that they probably have the best tasting and delicious Hot Dogs in all of San Diego! It be so wrong to try their food out and not talk about these folks. The moment we went through their door, we were greeted by a friendly and attentive staff member. After finding out it was our first time visiting their restaurant, they walked us through their menu, and they offered us their insights to some amazing recommended entrees to check out. Can't tell you enough how good their team made us feel welcomed and the energy they brought with them. We took the teams' recommend entrees, x2 Los Xolitos, x1 El Smokey, and x1 La Vigen...and ill tell you...it was so savory that it had me considering buying another one to-go. The vibe of the shop was also really great nothing but old school funk jamming out after a long day. See the pictures themselves! If you happen to be in Barrio Logan (or @ Petco Park) be sure to check them out! You won't be disappointed!!

So so so so good! One of my favorite places, I always take anyone who visits me here. The area around it is super cute too, perfect for a walk after. The drinks are strong, the dogs are delicious what more could you ask for!

Those hot dogs were so good that we returned the very next day! I've never eaten hot dogs like these before. Hands down one of the best eateries in San Diego. If you don't go you're missing out. The second pic I believe is of El Pueblito.

This is THE hotdog place to go! This was the best what I would call "Craft" hotdogs we've ever had. The fries were delicious also along with the Micheladas. Neighborhood is a little sketchy at night. Great service.

Thoroughly enjoyed this spot and highly recommend! I was a little confused by the entry and the process with ordering and seating but the staff were all really great in getting me accustomed and welcomed to the store. The artwork on the walls was awesome and they were playing some classics which really set the vibe. It was my first time so they gave me some great recommendations. Had two of the barrio dogs, el xolito and el chihuahua, they were more than enough and plenty filling. Honestly think one might have done the trick but all was delicious nonetheless. I consider myself an avid michelada drinker and can always go for a good one. It was hard for me to decide which of the 4 to order but the one I went with, La Tomasa, didn’t just stop at one. It was so good and different from other standard micheladas at other restaurants. More on the darker side of mix as you can see from the pic but had me hooked for sure. Can’t recommend enough and look forward to coming back!

Can’t say enough about this place. The staff & owners are super welcoming. The food is unique, feels like home comfort grub & the art work & classic car theme is worth coming just for that. 10 outta 10!

This place was great! Everyone was so welcoming and the food was so flavorful. I had the El Smokey Fries and my wife had the Xolito Fries and we both agreed they were delicious and plenty of food for each of us. Highly recommend and will return here if I'm ever in San Diego again.

This time, I ordered through grub hub but I've also been to the restaurant itself. I think the capone dog is my favorite. I also remember the drinks being really tasty. The dogs come packaged well in individual boxes when you order to go.
