I am addicted to their lavender milk tea with aloe. Can't get enough of it. And everyone here is so friendly! This will be my regular spot!
I live in Hawaii where boba tea can be bought on nearly every street. However, Boba Bar and Desserts is the best I have ever had. Each time I visit California I make sure to stop here. Love it! Mahalo.
I drive from oceanside to the Zion Market in clairemont specifically to drink their sea salt coffee. =)

Lots of mix-in choices. Great drinks/deserts! The location in Zion Market is awesome. Great food court area and always a place to sit.
So delicious! If you are in San Diego you have to try this place. Loved it. Cheesecake puffle is amazing! So is the Italian ice!

Never had this boba stuff so I thought I'd give it a try because my wife has mentioned it before. The gal with the nose piercing was very friendly, patient with my gumpiness, and helped me pick this awesome spicy mango drink (chamango, I think? ). Anyways, give this girl a raise because that has got to be one of the best things I've ever tasted! Thank you.

I stopped in here for the first time today. I wasn’t sure what to order, so I went with my “safe” order of Oolong milk tea and added boba and their salted cheese cream. The drink was delicious! I will definitely be back!

We arrived 30 minutes before closing (on a Thursday night) and were able to walk straight to the counter with no line & no waiting. This is a rare occasion, it's generally pretty busy here. On 2 previous visits we had to wait a while in line, though it generally moves pretty quickly.
Things can change pretty quickly here; After we ordered (and with only about 20 minutes left before closing) the place had completely filled up and the line to order stretched beyond the front door! Yes, it can get very busy here but that's because EVERYTHING on the menu is excellent!
Seriously, from the boba to the Puffles to their customer service... It has ALL been consistently excellent! I love the boba, my wife loves the Puffles, and the kiddos love their “ice cream" (consistency similar to shaved ice), especially the cotton candy flavor!
Weekends (particularly after 5pm) can get very busy in this area but be patient and you'll be rewarded with some very tasty treats! Parking in the main lot is free, if you can find a spot. There's also a pay-to-park lot tucked away in the back in case you can't find an open freebie.
Boba Bar & Desserts has become my family's preferred dessert spot. Maybe it will be yours too. I highly recommend you try it! 👍🏻
I love their build your own puffle. It's a combination of ice cream and warm bubble waffle. It hit different (in the best way) on a hot day.
The Ice cream was flavorful and creamy, the Mochi is chewy and yummy. The Bubble waffles was warm, chewy in the middle and crunchy on the outer and delicious. 10/10
This is my family's go-to boba shop. We love their specials, typically getting the mango lava (mango slushie with strawberry puree topped with vanilla custard), lychee dragonfruit slushie with puree, and honeydew smoothie with mango puree and topped with vanilla custard.
If I'm craving milk tea and coffee, I get the coffee milk tea.
They're always so nice here. I can order ahead and they're very quick with filling orders.
This location can get pretty busy but it makes sense because they're very good here in both product and service.
Puffles can take a while to make. I know how difficult it can be to make them. But they're yummy. Good treat to order once in a while and so many topping options.
If you like Dole Whips, they have them here. No need to go all the way to Disneyland anymore for them.
Parking can be difficult here. They do have a couple spaces reserved for their customers but be prepared for a pretty packed parking lot.
Boba Bar is one of my most visited dessert places in Convoy. I love their puffles (puffed waffles) with ice cream, custard and toppings. They have a wide variety of puffle dessert, boba, smoothies, and drinks. Most recently, I got both the brown sugar ube boba half sweet and the Mango Lychee Passion Fruit slushie. To note: the slushie is only available in a large size. The brown sugar ube boba was super good, and very sweet even at half sweetness. The Mango-Lychee-Passion-Fruit Slushie was delicious and refreshing.
We came here after eating dinner next door. The puffles are a unique dessert i recommend trying. We got the strawberry shortcake and the paradise ones.
It's all about the puffles! I've had bubble waffles everywhere on convoy, but boba bar is hands down the best.
Dang. Double dang. This place is good. Quick and friendly service. Super clean. The flavor combinations are incredible. Serving sizes are perfect. Sweetness is right on the money. All this tucked away in such an unassuming little corner of Convoy St. Highly recommend coming to Boba Bar and Desserts and sampling the flavors here.
Amazing different types of boba! Super chill and relaxing place. Go try it out so worth it!

Fairly typical Boba and beverage house menu wise. Variety of teas, smooties, and puffles.
Prices were pretty good compared to other similar shops, the drinks were sweeter than expected but you can lower your sweetness level.
The real standout of the shop is speed. The staff delivered almost before our party finished ordering.
Pleasing aesthetic with a well-decorated interior. Their music selection complements it quite well. The cashier as well as her coworkers were exceptionally helpful and assisted me in choosing what drink would suit my taste best. Very well staffed, resulting in my friends and I receiving our orders quite quickly. My "wintergreen milk tea" wasn't mindblowing, but it tasted good enough that when coupled with the environment, I had quite a pleasant experience.
Interestingly built and yummy desserts, especially impressed by the Puffle menu.
The Boba drinks are excellent and not overly sweet as they sometimes tend to be.
Service is fast and the crew is cheerful and knowledgeable.
Parking tends to be a problem in the evenings so you may have to circle around for a while but it's well worth it.

Food/Pricing - On the pricier side. $6.73 (including tax) for a regular size Thai Tea Smoothie. Tasty but I'd want to try out another drink next time.
Service/Ambiance - Friendly and quick service! Drinks came out fast.
Parking - Parking lot is busy but didn't take long to find a spot.
Absolutely amazing desserts. The customer service was fantastic. We will for sure be back.
An AMAZING boba tea place, it's my top location to go to! I'm not a big dessert person, but it seems like the desserts are fantastic here. The milk tea and boba is what really gets me happy!!! The place is a bit on the small side, but it doesn't make a huge difference since I get my drinks to-go anyways LOL. Highly recommend! Honestly, a lotta places on Convoy street are goated, and this is no exception ^__^
OMG our first time and definitely won’t be the last! Newly discovered “PUFFLE!” You NEED this in your life! We tried the Purple Oreo and it was AMAZING! Just waited a few minutes to have it freshly made and SO worth the wait! Definitely recommend.
FYI - parking lot available, tho very busy and frequently packed. Again, WORTH the wait! Cute but limited seating area. Bathroom and overall venue was clean. Frequent purchase card available too. Enjoy!
Not bad at all. They have these Oreo boba fusion drinks that aren’t bad at all. Kinda tasty actually. The location is a bit tough since the parking is small. But a great dessert place to walk over and get after you eat dinner at one of the food areas close by!
