I'm normally very satisfied with the quality and flavor of all their food options but my experience today was disappointing. My favorites are their soups which are spruced up and rotated often. They are pricey and not always super fast. But today.... half my salad was missing! This is the small salmon salad which I ordered with tomatoes, it does not come with them on the regular menu. Where's the rest of my salad?! Only a few and small pieces of onion and zucchinis. I'm very disappointed. I'm rating them a 4 because their food is good & their ingredients are top notch, but they are skimping on the salmon salad! It's basically a pile of spinach with some salmon on top.
I love going to this Restaurant! I have been many times, and the quality of the food is always excellent. I enjoyed the pear and rocket salad and the beef carpaccio. The staffs are nice, and the ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner. You may have little clue what you are eating without referring to the menu, but you really don't care because it's all so good!
This is a solid lunch option in San Diego downtown core. It offers a wide variety of fresh salads at a reasonable but slightly high price. Considering that it's difficult to find a good salad at a good price in downtown, it's as good a place as any to go. You can find the best salads at the best price in the nearby Plaza Deli, which is on the third floor in the nearby Wells Fargo building.
Really good salads, huge portions. They could put in more seating but not too bad of an issue. They used to have pizzas but I thunk they're gone now? Great option if you want something fresh for lunch downtown.
Half tables have dirty plates. Salads seem pretty good. And big!
Well hello there little salad shop of my dreams. If you're looking for something to kick it up a notch in the salad game, here's your stop. Sure, it might be on the edge of downtown, but it's way better than those other chains. Selection is good, ingredients locally sourced and the prices aren't too much over what you'd pay closer to Horton. One of the few places I can feel good about eating out at, because duh, fueling your bod with leafy greens and lean protein is WAY better than settling for some half-hearted chicken finger topped grilled cheese burger...at least on a not-cheat day.
When I entered to Salad Style I didn't know I will find good, fresh, quality of food. I was very happy to know there is a place in San Diego that has so many kind of salads! will recommend for my family and friends.
A high end salad restaurant. A bit pricey, but well worth it. The small Salad ($13.00), which is big is well worth it. A nice modern dining atmosphere, if you dine at the downtown location arrive before 11 am to beat the lunch crowd.
If you’re looking for a light, refreshing, yet filling lunch in downtown—this is the place you need to go.
For a girl working in downtown San Diego, it’s often difficult to find a tasty, healthy and affordable lunch option. I’m a big eater, so I was surprised (yet happily satisfied) to find that even their small salads are really on the large side. You can get a salad anywhere between $7-$14 (depending on the ingredients and any add-ons), but some of their salads already contain protein so you won’t have to splurge on adding them on like other establishments.
Best part of all? Each salad is available to be made in a wrap! Sometimes I pretend my healthy Mexican salad is in fact a burrito with all the fillings since it has avocado, beans, chopped lettuce…but, you know, I’m weird like that. Their ahi tuna is very fresh, and would highly recommend their morocco cous-cous as a salad or a wrap.
As far as the dining room itself, it is very casual with a selected number of table and chairs seating up to 4 people. Bring a co-worker, but find somewhere else for the whole office to dine-in. You can call ahead though and order to-go! You order at the counter, but the service there is impeccable; seriously though, they’re all really energetic and so kind.
I’m telling you—salad style is the way to go for lunch. Back to my healthy burrito, thank you. Yummm…
I get salads from this place all the time for work lunches and they are delicious. Never thought i would say that about a salad but it is true. The salmon and ahi tuna are my favorites. I go back and forth as the salmon comes with Baby Spinach, Grilled Vegetable Mix, Avocado, Organic Sprouts, Red Onion, and a Lemon Vinaigrette while the tuna comes with Organic Greens, Vine-Ripened Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives, Capers, Red Pepper Bruschetta, Red Onion, Garlic-Balsamic Vinaigrette. All are fresh ingredients and come in a decent size. They also give more than enough dressing unlike other places. They aren't skimpy with their proteins either. A great place for lunch in the downtown area.
Only wish it was open more hours. Great food! I especially enjoyed the grilled salmon and peppered steak. Gets crowded at lunch hour obviously. Definitely would recommend checking out
Caesar salad wrap was huge and delicious! I wish it was open on weekends but otherwise a convenient and tasty place to go.
The soups are fresh and delicious, too. Salads can’t get any better for a great price. Love this place🥰
Capt soup was great and so were the salads.., and they did the right thing when I had issue with them having put too much of the delicious dressing on it. I recommend this place !!
Awesome selection of very healthy and delicious salads. Bit on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for.
The salads are great with their fresh ingredients but they are pricey. It's worth it though.
