Thrilled to have a fresh fishy place in the hood! Today I tried the shrimp and fries, while I am not big on fried food, the shrimp was totally plump and fresh and the batter was tastey, the fries actually tasted like real potatoes. Look forward to coming back and trying the lobster sandwich :)

Great location, excellent beers. As a visiting brewer, this was a great first brewery stop on San Diego.

Great beers, and of the many clam chowders I've had lately, this is one of the two best (along with Tiger Tiger) Two single-occupancy restrooms.

I stopped by already a couple of times. Had South Parker sandwich which was OK and Black and blue on two occasions and custom made salmon sandwich. Sandwiches are really great and highly recommended. Tacos look a little skimpy wwhen friend ordered them buy he liked the fish in them. The beer selection is great too. Ordering can take FOREVER so maybe a good idea to have two registers. Really glad this place opened up in the neighborhood.

Didn't get a chance to try any food on this visit. But beers were good. Tried the oyster stout and pale ale and both were quite satisfying. Looking forward to coming back and trying some of the seafood centric food options. We came on a Friday evening and the space was packed, but plenty of room for everyone and service was spot on.

Great prices and very tasty food. I ate the yellowtail bowl with the lemon butter and a bowl of the chowder. The fish well perfectly cooked and the veggies were slightly crispy, the east I like it. The chowder was good but could have been warmer. They also have a bar with beer and wine (hence brewery). I had the flight, which is a sample of 6 of their 8 beers. The stout was my favorite. I will definitely return to this place!

They're good menu has changed drastically for the worse. You can still gets some tasty eats like the poke but it's not the bluewater competitor it used to be. If you want a solid beer at a solid price in a place that is good for a bigger group, this is the spot. The oyster stout remains a staple of my evenings here. The booths and long tables make it easier to manage a group of friends. The staff is always cheery. Keep on keeping on spbc!

I waited until my second time here to review. I've now had dinner at the soft open and lunch on a typical Friday afternoon. The food is centered around fish. For dinner you can several types of fish made your way in your type of serving. Sandwich, tacos, seasoned, blackened, etc. All of it is pretty damned good. I had the blackened yellow tail tacos the first time and the tuna melt for lunch. The tuna melt was touch greasy, but absolutely delicious. I just destroyed a whole bunch of napkins. South Park also took down the most unique chili at the SONO chili cook off yesterday so their shrimp based chili is going to be available as a soup all winter. Can't wait to try that in a full cup. The beer focuses on bright brassy ales (a regular IPA and a double IPA) as well as a couple of darker beers. I've tried the IPAs which are both delicious. My wife had the stout and was raving about it. The only issue is that the food is ordered and paid for separate from the beer. The new lunch combo has caused a small bit of confusion with the staff since you pay for the food and it comes with a beer, so you have to bring the receipt over to the beer bar. Strange set up, but it works alright and speeds up beer orders if that's all you came for.

Good selection of beers - and the taco's are worth a try (although a bit expensive compared to other places in the area). For a visiter from the UK, surprising to see so few beers under 5% for session drinking - but guess you get used to it!

Finally got around to checking this place out and wow! Not only is there a fresh fish and seafood counter there where you can order up fresh tacos, tostadas, or salads (smoked fish dip and tuna melts for those of you craving comfort food!), but their award winning beer is just steps away. Dark beer fans should come here for the selection, including the infamous Scripps Pier Oyster Stout. Patio-seating is available and roomy tables for groups await you inside. (As of Nov 2015, the renovation of Kindred is happening, so maybe wait until after construction hours to avoid the smell of paint and sound of drilling.)

Amazing new restaurant and bar for excellent seafood dishes - tiradito (peruvian ceviche), oysters, grilled fish, smoked fish nachos, tostadas and of course fish tacos. I love this place. Quality food, nice people, great music and of course the beer is always epic. Love the saison. Lobster roll recently named top 12 in San Diego by Zagat is definitely worth stopping in to try. Try the spicy tuna bahn mi and the Thai coconut crab and muscle soup, it comes with jasmine rice in the soup and it is really something special. Love these Asian twists on fresh local seafood! If you love Hamilton's and want somewhere bright and open to spend an afternoon, try this place! Nestled in South Park right next to Hamilton's, this is a great new seafood restaurant in San Diego.

No they don’t kill Kenny here, they just brew some good beer. As is the case pretty much everywhere on the West Coast, you’ll find a ton of hoppy IPAs on the menu, though there are a few good options with sub-70 IBU as well. The eponymous IPA is a pretty tasty one, and if you are like me, you may find all the sun in San Diego has given you a taste for hops. The saison was also excellent. But for your first time here, the flight is definitely the best way to go. Since the menu is only 8 or so beers, it’s the perfect way to try the ones that sound good while eliminating two that don’t strike your fancy. And boy, are you fancy. I can just tell. Best of all, there is a great bench outside facing the street for consuming said flight.

Kool popular spot in South Park, however not too crowded. Beer is decent, the new food items from La Mesca is really good.. Get the Korean Asada Tacos, or the Jerk Chicken bowl, will not disappoint!

Nice quiet little brewery located in a neighborhood area of South Park. Small outdoor patio and the brewery is dog friendly which is always nice.
