Got this food from a giveaway on instagram and the food was amazing. I love Mediterranean food and this was a dream come true to try their food. The food was great and look very presentable. This food is definitely for 6 people or even more haha. Thank you Shawarma Guys you did amazing.

These guys rock! Over the years, I've had a variety of items from them. Let's see, all the Shawarma wraps rock! The wagyu beef is super tender and juicy, and the chicken is tender with great flavors. Their wings are crispy and delicious, the Iraqi salad is fire, the hummus fantastic, and the yellow Middle Eastern rice is bliss. You can't go wrong with these guys.

Probably the best shawarma spot in SD! Got the half and half shawarma plate and it is basically 2 whole meals. I will say the chicken was better than the beef. The falafels are a must order and were amazing. The pita bread was OK but could be warmed up a lil bit. Definitely worth the money!

A restaurant that has definitely earned the title and reputation as one the nation’s top restaurants. The flavor and texture of both proteins was outstanding. The garlic paste really compliments the proteins and gives them that edge in flavor. The hummus had terrific texture and flavor. It was smooth and velvety. The flavor was very sophisticated. As for the tabouli, it also had good flavor and very well seasoned. When all of them combine they just burst with great flavors.

This place is legendary! Just had the California Shawarma and nearly wet myself in ecstasy after taking the first bite and then adding on the incredible hot sauce! I’ll definitely be coming back to try other menu items. Staff was also very friendly, helpful, and patient. There was only 1 other person in line when I got there at around 4:45 as well. Also the Shawarma was huge but I didn’t feel overly stuffed after scarfing it down. Thanks

Loved this place for their tasty falafel plates and pita sandwich. Now I’m an even bigger fan with the added vegan options. I had the vegan shawarma plate and my partner got the falafel plate. Both were incredibly tasty, filling, and decently priced. Excellent service as always, this place is a real treat.

Tha bom. They get great ratings for a reason. Their restaurant is a parked food truck which keeps their cost focused mainly on the food. Everything on the menu is sure to delight. They were identified as the best food truck in the NATION a few years ago by Yelp (2020) with over 500 5-star reviews. I was skeptical but was left with no doubts after the first bite of my beef shawarma plate. These guys bust out amazing Aussie Wagyu beef and chicken dishes, all halal, prepped a few different ways and pair them with great hot and garlic sauces. The throughput in the evenings is bonkers so call ahead for pickup to get things hot and fresh. 3-stars for atmosphere only because they're in a parking space. They're outside The Bottle House so be a mensch and pick up your bevvies here too (decent prices and maybe even a tasting of something ta boot).

Top notch meat. Coming straight off the spit, it was juicy and tender. All the dishes we got here were quality. The owner and chefs were also very friendly.

So we actually intended to eat at a different restaurant but as we were walking the aroma of the shawarma grabbed us and led us right to this food truck. First time here, and we ordered the shawarma fries(chicken is standard) and the dolma(rice only). Both were tasty. The dolma wasn't too oily. The chicken shawarma was very tender and no hint of dryness. Very hearty portion of fries with enough meat included. The staff was friendly and told us since it was our first time we had to get the hot sauce...glad we did and I'll recommend the same, and this place!

Update new review: Shawarma is definitely the best of the best!!! If you haven’t tried it and you live in San Diego, you shouldn’t miss out on it. Because their food taste is legendary. I highly recommend the Wagyu Beef Shawarma, it comes with hummus and tabouli, and some pita bread pieces. It’s my husband’s favorite. My favorite is their Falafel, I will say it’s the best falafel in my life. You have to try it!!! Anyways, you should come to check it out. They are pretty popular on everything in their menu. Previous review: This is probably one of the best shawarmas I’ve ever had. And your know, this truck is very famous already, but I still want to say, you have to try this if you haven’t. I came to shawarmas guys before and we ordered a beef shawarma and falafels. I was amazed by the falafel and I think that’s the best falafel in my life, and yes, it still is. This time, I ordered a pita wrapped beef shawarma, it is super super delicious. There’re so many meats inside the shawarma! For the price, it’s very worthy. The flavor is strong, but not over. I just love Shawarma guys, probably it’s the spot that I’ll bring my friends to try if they come to visit.

5 stars for flavor, freshness, and authenticity. The falafel was made on the spot and it’s both vegan and gluten free. Would highly recommend getting extra garlic paste- it’s delicious!! This place was also recently featured on the Food Network.

DELICIOUS! Was in SD for work and decided to hit up this food truck. Nothing negative to say. I wish we had Shawarma Guys in Florida!

A food truck in South Park right next to a liquor store. I got the chicken Shawarma plate and it was very soft and well seasoned. My friend got a chicken and beef shawarma sandwich, which is basically a wrap. They were both slightly falling apart as the pita seemed to be very crunchy in the middle. Hot sauce is given in a little plastic container but it is more sweet than hot. There is no spice whatsoever in that. They also don’t supply any knives, if you wish to eat there you must give them your plate for them to cut what you wish or ask for it to be cut when you order.

Would definitely go back for the beef egg rolls! Pretty cool that they use wagyu beef for all their beef shawarma dishes. I got 3 pita wraps and the egg rolls- pitas were chicken, beef, and falafel- they could definitely use more of that magical toum (garlic sauce) but they were still pretty tasty either way. The star of the show were the crispy egg rolls filled with delicious beef shawarma, topped with toum. I’d definitely go back for that. Their pita chips looked pretty legit too!
