Warm and accommodating cafe in the heart of University Heights. Excellent organic coffees and teas, tasty dishes, and fast, friendly service. The back patio is a gem: a quiet, tranquil refuge, sequestered from the hubbub of Park and Adams. Our favorite neighborhood cafe!

Best bagel & lox I've had in San Diego, hands down. I go to Seattle a lot for work and it was better than most of the bagel and lox I've had up there too.

Had an excellent brekky and coffee with neighborhood friends. We sat on the back patio, which has been spruced up and is very Zen. The bagel and lox were awesome and the honey, ginger latte with the in-house infused syrup was delicious. Such a great addition to University Heights. I will be back, for sure!

Nice backyard patio. Good ingredients on the menu items. Bagel was California style, but the sandwich was excellent! Close to Trolley Park for when we get hungry on our dog walks. It is totally dog friendly, so Oskar can hang with us.

Super cute, quaint spot! A friend highly recommended this place to go and do some work while also to enjoy great coffee. It is quiet, clean, and does not seem too hectic or overly crowded as other places. Ordering is easy as well they have to go or to have there. On the side of the register they have a relatively big container with water if you would like and they also have an outdoor patio which is really cool because the place doesn’t look too big at all but it is actually pretty spacious with lots of seating. I mostly encountered women there working on their laptops when I went on a Tuesday afternoon and one guy walked in to order a regular coffee to go and left super quick. There is wifi and it is written on a small sign just near the register as well. They do also sell food, but I have not yet tried it. Will do soon and post the update.

Street parking can be tough but it’s a very cute spot. Beautiful and cute little vibe. Coffee has always been good (not amazing but solid). Today the wifi was slower than normal so I had to leave but last time I was here it was fine. Will update again. Acai bowls are good! Other food options aren’t the best. The avocado toast and sandwich that were ordered were decent but we added eggs and the server confirmed but the kitchen missed it. Chips that come on the side of the sandwich were delicious!

A casual brunch spot in a relaxed setting. Not a lot of options on the menu but good enough. Orders are placed at the counter and needs to be picked up when the food is ready. Tried the matcha latte and honey rose latte. They were alright. Definitely would have enjoyed it a bit more if the drinks were actually hot instead of lukewarm. Acai bowls were good. Opted for cacao nibs as an additional topping (which was again confirmed by the person who took the orders) but ended up getting coconut flakes instead. Street parking is available but it can be tough to find a spot.

LOVE this place! Relaxed, clean, refreshing environment. The outside garden is delightful - plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It would be nice to see a plant protein powder option for açaí bowls (currently only have whey). Espresso is great.

I really enjoyed breakfast. The toast with avocado and salmon was very tasty. The portion is huge, the products are fresh! My kids ate a bagel with egg and bacon, they were happy too. Quiet place, polite and fast service. You can take it with you and eat with the nearest park on the lawn.☀️☀️☀️

The food and their drinks were super tasty!:) They also have outlets in a little small room! I think this is a nice place to have brunch with family and friends or a study cafe for students! The tables might be a but low,but everything is amazing here! They have lot of outdoor sitting as well!

Great food coffee and service. Be a good place to work on a laptop with all the space but not a ton of power outlets.

My favorite cafe! Super sweet staff, great coffee, and I always get the California bagel on jalapeño cheese bread. So refreshing and good portion sizes. The back patio is such a vibe. I always find easy parking too.

Very pleasant atmosphere, maybe a bit too quiet to the point that makes you feel you're in a library. Eventually the fitting style of the music gets you settled in and you can almost enjoy the coffee. The coffee (or at least the one we tried) is about average. The polite and super helpful barista told us that they use one type of coffee (nothing wrong with that) and made us our drinks with extra care, which is more than one can ask for. Meraki as far as I understand implies that something is made with extra care and passion, which seems to be the case here. Cool place, would come here to read a book or work on a laptop; also adds coolness to the area.
