Love this restaurant! I lived in Korea for almost 3 years and I've grown to love Korean food. Friend's House have the best "kimchi chige" I've had outside Korea! The ramyun with dumplings is really good too! Loved their "yuk gae jang" and seafood pancake as well. We just keep coming back to this restaurant because it's cheaper than Dae Jang Keum and Buga which we used to go all the time. We realize the difference in price for the quality of food in Friend's House is the biggest factor we consider when deciding where to get Korean food.
I wish this place was closer to my house. The food was great. I went for lunch on a weekday and ordered Dolsot Bibimbap with kimchi and was pleased with my dish. I would say it didn't taste as I remember in Korea but close enough to make me feel at home. The service was lacking, they were very friendly, but after receiving my food, I was basically forgotten about. It was fine for that day because I wasn't in a hurry and I was just taking it all in but on any other days, I know that is quite annoying for customers. Overall, I would definitely return here.
Great service! Extremely great food! Awesome atmosphere! 10/10 would recommend!
So yummy best in San Diego and I'm Korean so try it and see
I enjoyed the Korean food here. It was busy but that's always a good sign.
We luv it there - the foods and service was excellent _ were definitely gojng to come back❤️❤️Soon
Tasty food. Great service! Lovely highback wooden booths and atmosphere.
Great place.. food is extremely good.. fast and friendly service. .
Riquísima la comida y la compañía también.
Great place to eat authentic Korean food! Friendly service!
Great hole-in-the-wall Korean restaurant!
Solid, good & homey. Fast, friendly more homey service in this little establishment. Small standard Korean menu which are tasty and very reasonable price, large portion sizes.
parking can be difficult, but it's solid good food.
Decent Korean food. Reasonable prices. Friendly service.
Crab Tofu Stew I ordered the crab broth tofu stew. Inside were large squares of tofu, a concentrated crab broth with small crab pieces, and some onions and mushrooms. I enjoyed the crab broth which had a pretty rich flavor, but wished for some more ingredients in the stew as it really felt more like a soup rather than a full meal. Overall, we had a decent meal here.
One of my top places for tasty Korean food. One of the best spots of its kind in the area. The service here is outstanding. Prices are decent for the quality.
Tasty Food
Always on Fire , crowded.
Me and my friend love No#31 Beef Short Rib Soup, that Broth extremely well, they believe it can cure from cold and flu. I have no ideal about it.
No#5 Seafood Veggie Pancake (4 or more eater) great , should try.
G9od service and Nice.
My preferred location for delicious Korean food. don't worry if it's busy, it is worth the wait. i had a brother come into town and he asked me to go back here. prices are fair. i see why this place has a lot of great reviews.
My favorite place on Convoy! Incredible service, a huge menu, cute and unique decor, and of course delicious food. I have been here at least 15 times, my favorite is the seafood tofu soup and the seafood pancake.
korean food, awesome. I wanted to post a food pic but it looked so good I couldn't stop. Certainly worth a return visit. It has a good feel to it. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
last night was our first time we went to this restaurant. But It is no doubt not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the efficient service, with the high quality meal and fine drinks and with the decent charge. We will no doubt go back there soon.
korean food and the scene at this location is excellent. Got there about three, it wasn't crowded. Bring your hunger - portions are filling. Food is similar to a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.
