I really like this place. Great for to-go orders or Order Up app orders. (Atmosphere is a little lacking for dine-in) Their rolls are great!

Don't let appearances fool you, especially since SDSU's building up of the area. Oshi's Kitchen is a good place to grab a relatively cheap bite to eat. Recommended either their spicy chicken or katsu chicken. Salad may be basic but the seasoned bean sprouts make up for it.

Another hole in the wall type of place it’s darn-good and family-owned and family recipes, also the owners and their children work in and run the place with the most delicious authentic tasting sushi as if you were in Japan. And the price is the best price in all of San Diego county.

The only complaint I have is that this place opens super late and closes too early. The food is amazing and well priced and their flavors are really good. Highly recommended. Their Udon noodle Tempura is awesome.

Incredible food, friendly staff. Had the ribs, were tender and covered in a lush BBQ sauce. Would recommend to anyone!

Always craving Japanese food while on campus and they're here to provide it. Decently priced and with no other sushi places nearby, this mom and pop shop is my go-to. Love the spicy tuna, California roll and the deep fried rolls. Never had a bad experience but it seems like others may have. I don't usually write reviews but I felt compelled as a returning customer because I was shocked to see this place had less than 4 stars. If you're craving cheap nearby Japanese food, give them a shot. They're super friendly people.
