Reviews Bi-rite Creamery

Bi-Rite is the neighborhood creamery that you wished you had around your neighborhood. You know they have something special when the line goes out the door in the mid afternoon of a Wednesday. They carry fun and delicious flavors like toasty sourdough, black sesame, and balsamic strawberry on top of standards like cookies and cream and a decadent chocolate option. A medium comes with up to three flavors and is more than enough to satisfy two people sharing. The line moves relatively quickly but there's not much space inside to eat. It's still worth your time to visit no matter what.

One of the best ice cream spots ever. The ice cream flavor, texture, and milk richness is exactly what I want in my Ice cream. The line can sometimes be long, but it’s so so good. Very small space and they could use heaters outside.

A cute ice cream shop with innovative flavors! We couldn’t try any flavors, but all 4 flavors we ordered were delicious! The staff was very patient in describing the flavors to us and giving us their personal recommendations It’s right by Dolores Park so we sat there and enjoyed our ice cream. The portions were decent and the price wasn’t bad either I came back another time and shared a pint with friends in the park (it made more sense price wise)

Worth a try for anyone in the area. Salted caramel ice cream and soft serve keep us coming back but would also recommend trying the unique flavors as well, such as basil.

Ice cream was fuegooo! Got the coffee toffee, the peanut butter sizzle, and the creme brûlée flavors in a waffle cone cup! All the flavors complemented with each other very nicely. The location is supreme too, right across from the lovely Dolores park. I’m not sure the affiliation with the grocery story, but bi rite makes some good ice cream!

I got a small two scoop ice cream, that was super delicious! The banana blitz and the tropical sherbet were lovely and also dairy free! The service was phenomenal, the staff was super friendly and the transaction was super quick. As for the ambiance, the interior was really cute and gives local ice cream shop vibes! Would definitely go back next time I'm by Dolores park!

Delicious ice cream always. I’ve tried 6-7 flavors, there are always more I want to go back to try. Some of my favorites are the honey blossom, black sesame, basil, roasted banana. Conveniently located near mission Dolores park. If this is not available or line ups are too long, I would just pop onto bi rite market for a pint 🤪 Highly recommend!

Soooo good! And perfect for a day at Mission Dolores park. I tried chocolate and cake batter in a waffle bowl and loved every bite. Can’t wait to go back!

Good ice cream, in fact the best I've had in a long time. Honey lavender and ricanelas go really well together. Night in the pub was good as well, and the oatmeal raisin cookie was..interesting to try. Quick and friendly service.

Delicious ice cream! If you go here on a weekend, prepare yourself to wait in line. However, line moves fast as the service is quick. They carry unique flavors of ice cream, there are some standard ones too. I tried their Passion fruit and Strawberry flavors. Loved them both. I could feel the freshness and richness of the ingredients. Moreover, their ice creams are organic from local sellers. I would definitely go back to this place when I crave ice cream!

Who can beat the flavor and texture at Bi-Rite? They brought Salted Caramel to the public awareness years ago, and now you can get all sorts of salted caramel products that you probably shouldn't eat at any supermarket, but you should def still eat it at Bi-Rite. Even the soft serve is the best soft serve you've ever had.

Came here when it wasn't too busy so we got the ice cream super quickly! Got the ice cream flight so we shared with 3 people - it was a good size for that kind of group. My fave was the cookies and cream and Irish rum ice cream - the salted caramel was too salty and the black sesame just tasted a bit too sweet for me. Ice cream definitely felt high quality and it was nice that there were many outdoor tables and seats available to sit on. It feels a little overhyped since the ice cream was standard, but enjoyed it overall.

One of the best places to get ice cream in San Francisco. They have amazing ice creams along with vegan options. Vegan options are must try. Total recommend these vegan options Mixed Berry coconut and chocolate coconut. Best seller is Salted caramel ice cream The creamery also has soft serve, ice cream cakes and pint sized tub. Parking is limited around the creamery and it is right opposite the park. So grab an ice cream and enjoy in the park

Really tasty ice cream and friendly staff! Would recommend the peach cobbler and the silver linings! Stayed open past their closing time as they still had a line

Came here at 7pm. The queue wasn't too bad. We couldn't try the flavour. Tried the sneakers, black sesame and a special flavour. Black sesame is our favourite. The sneakers didn't stand out and the special flavour had rose water flavour which we didn't like.

Been coming here for years, always enjoy their ice cream. Service is always good, ice cream and toppings are good quality. Salted Caramel is the standard bearer in this family, no others make it better in our opinion.
