Saturday night was girl's night out and four of my friends and I wanted nothing short of a fine-dining experience. Perbacco's was absolutely incredible - the food, the ambience, and the service! Brian was our very professional server and he did a tremendous job suggesting vegetarian options for us. The food at Perbacco's is a work of art and nothing short of perfection. We ordered the endive and shinko pear salad, savoy cabbage and apple salad, raviora, gnocchi di zucca, and risotto. The butternut squash (side dish) is like nothing we had eaten before...it should be in the dessert section of the menu! It was amazing! We will be back!

Celebrated my birthday and had a great evening at Perbacco! Great service, wonderful food and lovely ambiance! We were seated at the "Chef's Table" (high top) and made for an extra special experience. The appetizers were awesome and the main courses superb! Desserts were also above average! I even received a "birthday card" from the staff! (Nice touch!!) will definitely return and also recommend to family and friends!!

Recommenddd by a friend and it did not disappoint. Fast service, exceptional wine options, exquisite food, what more do you want? I had the pappardelle with short rib ragu and I would highly recommend that. I wish I would have been with a group so I could have sampled more dishes.

Any time I fly in to San Fran from TX, I make it a point to have one meal here-- and it's still one of the best restaurants. Wine lists, food and service are spot on!

This was a fantastic and delightful experience from the moment we stepped through the door. We did not have a reservation and were seated in the bar area. However, the service was impeccable. Also, unbeknownst to me, there were extensive gluten free items. The food was delicious and also beautiful to behold. And the wine list was benissimo!

Perbacco is by far one of the very finest restaurants in the city of San Francisco. I have dinner out almost every night and have been to all of the "in spots " on the food scene! We are very lucky that there are so many fabulous places to eat in this city! However, if you are looking for consistency and a welcoming environment plus a delicious continental Italian meal every single time Perbacco is your place!

Absolutely amazing meal all the way around. We came to San Francisco to eat our way through the city, and this place wins all around best meal of the trip. The specialty truffle menu was elaborate and tempting, and the desserts win out over anything else we had in the city. You will be tempted to order multiple courses, because everything is appealing, but don't forget to save room for dessert!

Perbacco is my favorite SF restaurant hands down. I always get a combination of the frito misto, salumi, three to four of the amazing cheeses off the desert menu, the risotto and the scallops. Amazing ambience and service, five plus stars

Absolutely amazing! Recommended by our Concierge ... and we will definitely be passing along to others! Everything was the best and I'm still dreaming of our dessert. Service incredible! (One thing: request to sit downstairs if you can. It is beautiful! We sat upstairs. It was fine, but plain and loud.)

I had an incredible dining experience at Perbaco. The food was exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the evening. I had such a wonderful time that I am already planning my next visit to Perbaco. It is definitely a restaurant that I highly recommend and will be returning to in the future.

Perbacco is a solid Italian establishment. Mid-high class, not too snooty, reasonably priced, and puts everything together like a tailored suite. Perfect for business meals, date nights, or a solid outing. And the best part is the food is "down-to-earth". It is home-style cooking presented in a professional way. You have a clean cut, crisp yet cozy interior. Service is extremely friendly and professional. But most of all, the food is straight forward like a right angle. They are cooked with care, presented well, and tastes great. Make sure to go for the pastas that are hand-made fresh daily. You will understand the unique blend of flour the restaurant uses and at first taste, might even feel a it a bit out of place. Such a hearty, home-style pasta being served in a business-like environment. They also don't try to hide this and decorate it with just enough sauce. ACME bread is obviously amazing with the sweet honey salt butter, ever so gently massaged. All appetizers were solid. The fig-jam panna cotta was also perfect - creamy, soft, not-too-sweet with a hint of fig. Perbacco has immediately become one of my favorite places for a great time in downtown SF. Will return.

The restaurant was beautiful and the atmosphere perfect. Food was pretty good. I had the pork chops, which were amazing! And the apple crisp was delicious! Another guest in my party ordered the tiramisu and said it was very soggy. Other than that, I really enjoyed my visit.

I've been to Perbacco several times and have enjoyed each meal there. The pastas are delicious and well done. Service is good. Wine list is extensive. I haven't had a hard time getting a reservation here, unlike some other places. We had the pear salad and the tortellini soup. For pastas, I highly recommend the TAJARIN22/27 handcut thin tagliatelle - 5 hour pork and porcini mushroom sugo and the short ribs in a packet. Can't remember what is was called, but I've had it twice and it is very good. For desserts, we've had the Gelato, which has been rich but not over the top. All in all, I think it is a good value for what you get. Enjoyed our meals here.

We had a good business meal here with a wide range of small and large plates. The soup felt a bit too rustic for my liking but the pasta was superb. Booth seats are very tight so do ask for other seats if you like space. Overall good location to come back to!

PerbaccoSF, a restaurant known for its traditional Italian cuisine, exquisite design, and excellent service. It is a place that stands out among other premium-class restaurants, and there are many reasons why it is worth choosing for a special evening or celebratory event.

Good food and crowded, lively atmosphere even for a nearly weeknight dinner. While Perbacco features pasta, we had the duck and halibut, which were both excellent. Service is friendly but a bit over-extended due to the packed crowd, they omitted items and were slow. But if you're not in a hurry it's a good site. Valet parking is back, despite its webset saying it is not.

We wandered here on a Wednesday night with no reservation. The restaurant definitely came off as upscale and cozy. However, we didn’t get any weird looks despite our super casual attire. Anyway, let’s get to the food! Appetizers: We ordered the terrina and the piastra roasted octopus. The terrina had a different texture than expected. We thought it would be spreadable like pate. The octopus was good but wish there were more. Definitely not your value option here haha. Mains: We ordered the tortelli con fegato d’anatra and the rigatonicini neri. The tortelli was easily the best we’ve had. Each one was filled with rich tasting pate. The rigatonicini paled in comparison. The pasta itself tasted bland despite being covered in squid ink. Maybe it’s the wheat used? That’s all I got from it but I did tasted the herbs and sauce. Highly recommend the tortellini though! Desserts: There’s always room for desserts, right? We each got our own desserts: wildflower honey panna cotta and the pear crumble. Both were delicious. I don’t see it in their menu anymore. Hopefully they were replaced with equally tasting selections. Drink: We’re both lightweights so we shared the parklet. We picked this because we have a thing for egg white in cocktails. The other selections look great as well so choose what looks best! It’s hard to knock this restaurant down a star since we all have different tastes. Sometimes we order things that may not meet our expectations but we’re here to explore and try new things. The quality of food and service was consistent, and the atmosphere was great. I can comfortably and confidently say this is a 5 out of 5.

Very good Italian restaurant in downtown SF. The pasta is a must-try, and we particularly enjoyed the pappardelle and agnolotti. Also ordered appetizers and dessert, but they didn’t shine through as much. I’d still order the fried veggies to start!

Came here for SF restaurant week so they had 3 different restaurants participating. Good: So much variety and SO MUCH FOOD - we really liked how each course came with a wine pairing, and we liked a ton of the dishes. My favorite was probably the squash and mozzarella, which went together surprisingly well - then the liver and bread and the dessert at the end which was wayyy too big. Bad: Definitely a long meal so a lot of waiting between dishes which wasn’t bad, it was just a long meal! I wasn’t the biggest fan of the lamb pasta since it was a bit bland. Overall, an expensive dinner but good memories!

Great food, great service! It's a bit of a throw back vibe of being relatively loud, but fun and bright! Our party had the Short Rib which was amazing and we also throughly enjoyed a special with Porchini and Truffle!! Great date night or small group place!

We just dined here for a business dinner, and the food, service, atmosphere was everything I could have expected and far more. Our server was highly attentive, the food was flavorful, and it set the atmosphere for cozy and casual conversation and just an overall wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend this if you’re in San Francisco.

Incredible Italian food. The Octopus was great. The Fettuccine had a very earthy sauce with mushrooms and asparagus. The cauliflower balanced it out and was great. But the orange sorbetto was fantastic. Nice location and great service.

Food was really great, I ordered a burrata as an appetizer and then we got the pesto pasta and the risotto Nero, I highly recommend them. Desserts are really great especially those with apple and bay leaf ice cream, and the one with merengue and pistachio.

Modern take on Italian. Great pasta dishes and fried shishito peppers. Strawberry shortcake dessert was super flavorful. Very good.
