Absolutely delicious meal! Really enjoyed the house made blue corn tortillas with the meal. Dishes were spicy but it did not overpower the flavor. Every dish was so good and the service was equally good. All staff were friendly and efficient starting right from the person who took our telephone request to be on the wait list. The perfect end to the meal was the Double Chocolate Popsicle. Gluten free and dairy free choices.

Nopalito takes some Mexican standards and updates them with fresh ingredients and flavor that pops. The chicken mole was great, the fish tacos and the ceviche were wonderful. I have never had a dish there that I didn't like.

By far the best dining experience I’ve had in The City. The carnitas were juicy and tender, cooked perfectly. Service was impeccable. It is a smidge pricey but it is more than worth it.

Excellent! We haven't visited this fine establishment lately, but EVERYTHING was perfect! The food is delicious and it's presentation is too pretty to eat! The drinks look beautiful and everyone says they're excellent! (I've never been able to consume alcohol, for the smell bothers me; but my whole immediate family has ALWAYS been this way). I had a Virgin Mango Margarita that was custom-made by the excellent Mixologist and it was VERY good)! As a Vegetarian, I'm usually always able to find something to eat, and Nopalito (San Francisco) had MANY items in which I was able to omit meat and seafood. I don't think this fine establishment could be any better! Post Script: The staff is outstanding!

The experience of beautiful food that was sensational, attentive service was outstanding. I ordered the wrong menu item, upon receiving my lunch I suppose my expression was lack luster when I received the beautiful dish I had ordered instead of the quesadilla I drove 4 hours from Fresno to try. The manager apparently saw my disappointed and immediately order my quesadilla. I did not make a fuss as it was my error. She was attentive to her dining rom and made me feel that much more important as a customer. It was one of the best dishes I've had and as a chef here in Fresno I can appreciate and respect great effort in preparing good ingredients. Thank You for a phenomenal experience.

The ceviche tostada was terrible. As a Mexican, I have had many types of ceviche and this was not it. It had bitter flavors and the fish was minced very finely and what’s with all that cabbage. But, the chilaquiles were amazing. The red salsa was delicious! The hibiscus drink was great as well, although a bit sweet.

Great place for mexican food. The portions were generous and the food tasted good. The place is pretty booked so make sure to reserve.

Nopalito serves up truly outstanding Mexican food in a lively atmosphere. Solid portions, incredible flavors, friendly staff. You seriously can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

Food is great. I had the braised beef which is so flavorful. It is not very soft though. I think they should have used a different cut or cut the beef differently. The Brussels sprouts are delicious, but a bit too greasy because there is quite some residual oil at the bottom of the dish. My friend had the pork belly and he loves how crispy the tortilla is. Service is mediocre to low. They did not even bring us water.

Absolutely delicious! We will definitely come back. We devoured the beef tacos, mushroom tacos, and chips/salsa. Our only complaint is portion sizes and prices.

Very good Mexican food with both indoor and outdoor seating in a pleasant neighborhood. Everything is up to the standard of a touchless post-pandemic world era, with QR codes, ordering and mobile payment. The portions are quite generous, and the staffs are very attentive with friendly neighborhood style services.

This is going on my public list of the Bay Area's Best Mexican Cantinas. This restaurant has it all, great food, amazing vibe, parking easy to find, superb cocktails, and extremely fast service with ultra friendly staff. The dishes here are really upscale Mexican offerings and are worth the visit. We drove from San Jose to San Francisco just to visit this restaurant after several recommendations and we were not disappointed. The margaritas we ordered here were authentic and not filled with a bunch of sugar. The guacamole and chips were amazing. I can't say enough about the food here. Each dish is beautifully presented (almost to the point I didn't want to ruin it by eating it!). I loved everything I tried here. My favorite was the Empanada which had slow cooked beef and was accentuated by greens and farmers cheese. This restaurant is one of the more upscale Mexican restaurants in the area. Although the food and drink are high quality, we felt welcomed and the vibe still felt casual overall (I.e. I didn't need to dress up to go here!). I would recommend bringing a sweater if you come here on a cold day. You might have to sit in the semi covered seating area which can get cold at times. There is also a takeout window which is great if you're just coming here for the food.

Such a vibe , love the forest green setting with all the live plans. Its perfect for brunch, its good place for sharing as portions are fair in size. I was sold on their totopos con chile, they are not spicy and so flavorful, Their beef empanadas sold me , so good!! Their ensalada del mercado is super simple but its so good, their quesadilla de primavera is on the healthier side . I would have liked a little more variety in their brunch menu!

Chill walk in experience to grab a quick bite for dinner. Our table was seated inside immediately without a reservation on a rainy Saturday night. We ordered individually through a QR code and food came out fast. Service is good and the food is fine.

This was great Mexican food! We were in for an hour's wait for a table so we sat at the bar instead and ate there which was fine (if not a little squeezed in) and the full menu was available. Food was hot and tasty. We recommend the chips and pork belly but everything that came out looked amazing!

This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. I went alone so I only got a side of chips and guac but I finished them so fast. The strawberry horchata was so tasty too. They sat me right away and the food came out very quickly (the have you order from a QR code). I would 100% go back the next time I am in San Francisco.

- came here from all of the good reviews and the place didn’t disappoint! great upscale mexican restaurant - the margaritas we’re strong and tasty - the ceviche tostada was so flavorful and perfectly acidic/sour. great combo of textures with the veggies - mole chicken was great as well. the portion was massive - carnitas was juicy and flavorful. the pork pulled apart so easily and had the right amount of fat. - also recommend the tortillas! had to get extra to go - you order and pay through the QR code but the waiters were still helpful and friendly, this was the ideal process

Always satisfied after Nopalito!! The rice, beans, tortillas, and salsa are so simply amazing. And I never go wrong with the potato rolled tacos (they switch up the recipe each season and my fave is the sweet potato ones). I love that they are adding more vegetarian friendly items to the menu, including cauliflower al pastor (which I tried and was ok) and the vegetable plancha (which I haven’t tried yet). We usually start with totopos, sometimes super spicy but always delicious! My husband always gets the carnitas and he always loves it. This was our first experience dining in during the pandemic and it went super smoothly. Once seated, you order and pay from an app and the food came out pretty quick! The prepackaged margarita was perfect for two to share.

A fun spot in the middle of San Francisco. I came here after work on a Saturday night. I hadn't eaten much over the day so was quite hungry. The restaurant doesn't take any reservations so you either come at an unbusy time or roll the dice. Since we didn't show up until 815 on a Saturday night (they close at 10) we got lucky and caught the dinner turnaround and were seated immediately. The restaurant is an open layout with the kitchen easily viewable from anywhere in the restaurant. There's a bar that seats 7 or 8 and the restaurant subtly bleeds into a patio. Here's what we ate. 1. Quesadilla Roja con Chicharrón - Mulato chile-corn tortilla, crispy pork belly, cascabel & guajillo chiles, jack cheese, queso fresco, onion and cilantro. This was probably my favorite dish. A crispy shell with a juicy, well seasoned, 2. Mole Poblanoon Poved - Braised half chicken, dry chiles, spices, plantains, ts, hoolate, sesame seeds, onions (contains peanuts) Mexican rice and tortillas. - a whole half chicken with tasty Mole sauce. Not too sweet and not too smokey. A subtle flavor that comes with delicious rice and as many corn tortillas as you want. 3. Trucha a la Plancha - Seared marinated trout, arbol chiles, braised butter beans, romanita and salsa verde picante. Possibly some of the best tasting trout I've had to date. A nice crisp to the skin and the butter beans are soft and have absorbed all of the flavor of the sauce. It also comes with unlimited corn tortillas as well. 4. Frozen White Guava Margarita - Pueblo Viejo Blanco, white guava puree, lime, Giffard Triple Sec. A fun drink with a good guave flavor. I recommend. With 3 dishes and 1 drink , the bill came out to about $100 for 2 people. Probably enough food to have 2 people quite full. I would recommend as a "let's go have a nice meal that won't break the bank"
