I absolutely, love this place. The baristas are very knowledgeable and give, great customer service. Although, Philz has a different variety of teas. Their lighter blend of coffees are my favorite. I recommend the Dancing Water! Omg! That one is delicious. Also, I love the double almond croissant and the cinnamon roll. Philz is a bit expensive, but definitely a treat once in awhile. It's also a great place to bring out-of-town guest.

This is the original stand-alone Philz and surprisingly, not like many of the new ones. This Philz feels gritty, mismatched, and very mission. It has def become a wee bit more hipster than in the past, but it still has the feel of an old-school local coffee shop with found couches from the street, extension cords galore, and where friends can just gather to hang out. The coffee is just as good as all of the other places and it is a bit lively to work long-term, but if you are only going to hit one Philz in San Francisco, this would be the one.

This was the pour over coffee joint years before it became a fad with Ritual, Four Barrel & Blue Bottle. I discovered Philz over a decade ago. The Philharmonic is by far one of the most original cups of coffee you will have in your life...ever! It's buttery and sweet with a hint of Cardamom and fresh Mint. They shake the cream to a smooth froth and you can have it sweetened to your liking. I prefer sweet because it brings out the flavors. It's a must stop for out of towners. The lines are long but the service is friendly and fast and well worth the wait!

I always enjoy Philz when I’m in SF, especially the the Mission District (The Original.) The baristas are personal and make your coffee exactly to order. Good, fresh, and tasty coffee “one cup at a time!”

This is the original Philz location. The coffee is awesome. This location is particularly cool. Just like a single location down-the-street coffee emporium.

Philz is the best. It's not fast it's the best. It's expensive, however you get what you paid for "coffee art"

I was placing an order for somebody else, and I was chatting up with the beautiful lady who works there and I had told her that this was my first time here and that I had a long day ahead of me. She offered me to try out the coffee for free and it was delicious! It kept me energized all day! I forgot the name and flavor of the kind she gave me, but I will definitely be going back to ask her and to get another one. That coffee was delicious! Now that I'm trying other coffee spots in the Bay Area, I'm starting to feel like the others when they say Starbucks and Peete's are way overrated! Lol!

I just finished a 5k race for the San Francisco Marathon and decided to get an Iced Coffee Rosé. It is a delightful blend with a subtle and lovely floral note that complements the creamy cold brew perfectly. The baristas provided excellent service, and the inviting ambiance made the experience enjoyable. The unique flavor makes it worth trying. Looking forward to returning for more!

Picked up Philz Coffee before exploring San Francisco - Neo Valley. The morning and the weather was overwhelmingly beautiful. The service we received was wonderful. This was my first time having Philz Coffee so I ordered their Ginger Snap Iced Coffee - very tasty. Definitely woke me up.

Great coffee shop with parklet selling clothing in addition to food and drinks. This coffee shop was slightly crowded when I visited. I didn't have to wait long to order and got a medium "Iced Coffee Rosé," house way, for $5.95. While waiting for my drink, I looked at the shirts and hats they were selling. Some items were on sale and half-priced. The coffee was wonderful. It had a subtle rose flavor and was very creamy. It was sweet, but not too sweet so I could taste the coffee. Also, there was a clean bathroom and plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. The staff were helpful and polite throughout my visit. Overall, it was a good experience and I would visit again. If you get there later in the afternoon and want to sit down, keep in mind that it the location closes at 5:00 p.m. and the parklet seats are reserved for Firefly (the restaurant on 24th St. next to Philz Coffee) at that time.

I'm inclined to not like philz because of its preciousness, but the pour over was delicious. I'm not sure why they can't make the drinks a bit faster or buy a gallon of whole milk for us who like it, but that's just Philz.

Love the Douglass location. Barista asked me to taste to “make sure it’s perfect” which took me back to their 18th st location back in the 2010s. .

Perfect place for a snack and a coffee! I got their iced green tea and it was refreshing on a Sunday. My friend got the ginger iced tea and it was super flavorful! Also one of the best banana breads I've ever had.
